Located in a small strip mall by an automotive repair shop is nestled this quaint sandwich shoppe. Years ago, I recalled having some amazing made in house potato salad and macaroni salad when I came with my bestie. I had my heart set on the potato salad, and I was delighted to grab the last one. They were out of the macaroni salad, or I would have had both. A reason to return! I wasn't very hungry for a sandwich, so it was just a side for me kind of visit but my cousin ordered the Italian sandwich. Though I did inquire about the California veggie sandwich for next that that sounded delightful! The sandwich prices were very reasonable too. Love the ability to do a whole or half as I tend to like smaller portions. This is a locally owned business and both my cousin and myself chatted with the owner Angie who prepared the food. She actually remembered me, which I was totally shocked! Love that small town feel, and it always makes you feel special to be recognized as a regular. Now to visit more to become that regular! I'll definitely be back as the potato salad was as great as I recall. Not too overpowered by mustard, and just the right amount of tang. Plus an added bonus of black olives - my fav! I really enjoyed my visit to the Sandwich Shoppe. It is a small business and the owner was happy to assist us. She engaged in conversation throughout our visit and made us feel so welcome. I enjoyed this because sometimes when it is just 1 person working, they only focus on fulfilling the order and not the experience the customer has. I ordered an Italian Sandwich ($8.99) and was very happy with the size/quality for the price. They serve Boars Head lunch meats which I prefer on the rare occasion I eat sandwich meat. The toppings and bread were fresh and added to the overall sandwich enjoyment. The location felt open and well lit. There was a few seating options inside as well as outside seating. I wish I'd gotten to try their food but it never arrived. We called after an hour and they said they never got the order. I'm sure that's not their fault but if you look them up and it says you are getting your order thru grub hub they should know about it. I don't usually order thru grub hub but I didn't notice until I had already paid, I thought I was ordering through the sandwich shop. All I can say is do not order online. Ive been trying different sandwich places recently and The Sandwich Shoppe was next on my list. When i try any new place, I order directly from the menu, no modifications. I tried Italian Sandwich and my son had New York Club. we both chose 10" white sub roll as our bread. we both liked the bread and decided his sandwich was better than mine. it's not because mine was bad, it was just a little sweeter of a flavor than we are used to. we will definitely go back. the people there were very friendly, the quality of ingredients were very good and $7.49 for any sandwich is a reasonable price. read more

The sandwich ingredients were pretty fresh, but only one person working at noon lunch rush? The construction of the sandwich is where my slight issue occurs. The sandwich is sent through the tiny oven and the cheese melts, but placing the lettuce, tomatoes and oil and vinegar on top of the hot sandwich is incorrect. Everything should be under the cheese and then out of the oven. Just a bit of a nitpick, but the Turkey at $7.50 or so was Boars Head and the roll seemed fresh. Served with a pickle. Paying $1.50 for a bottle of Costco water is not recommended, so just get Fountain water. Tiny place, but if you eat outside, you enjoy a great view of the guys repairing automobiles next door. read more

I have tried a couple of times to order here. The first time it was average. The amount of meat on the sandwich was huge! But the bun was too dry for my liking. I recent visited again and had trouble getting waited on at the counter. The gentleman working in the back said it would be a 20 minute wait because he had a huge order ahead of me. I just ate there for the first time today and i ordered the turkey cranberry and it was AMAZING! Omgosh seriously the combination of the flavors and the turkey was perfect!
