I want to start off by saying our server, Carly, was amazing. There was 20 of us and she took care of us by herself. Kudos to her! However, we had 2 issues with meals and they sent Preston, a manager, to assist. Preston is abysmal at customer service. He had been overly aggressive while delivering our food, but then it became downright condescending when he came to handle the issues. He tried to argue every single issue (one person had asked for her eggs to be cracked on the skillet but they premade a mix and he just refused to acknowledge that for at least 5 min of arguing back and forth, and the other he agreed the shrimp was spoiled but then tried to say she had eaten half of it simply because she'd removed all the meat from the meal), and then was talking over us. When we asked him to walk away he came back later with just the check for the one meal he fought us on, and continued to antagonize her. It was wild to see honestly! I had the huevo rancheros and it was amazing/ but next time I'd get it without the radish. The mimosas were really strong and the waffle was light but it was fluffy. read more

So the food was okay but listen to them trying to rob us. I get the balanced breakfast which is $14. I get my tab back and I get charged that 14 plus $2 for the biscuit and $3 for the jam. No where in the menu says there's an up charge for a biscuit that's labeled as one of the options with the bread. And I didn't ask for any jam at all? Never was told about any more did I ask for any. Trying to steal $5 off stuff I had no knowledge of no thank you. Then my friend pays $40 cash for a $32 tab. The waitress just takes her 40 and never brings her back change. Just assumed she was getting a 25% tip. She didn't say keep the change so why would you? Will not be coming back. read more

We had a lovely breakfast at The Lobby in the outside courtyard which is so nice and refreshing, especially for a downtown restaurant. I had the short rib scramble and my friend had the shrimp and grits. Both were really wonderfully flavored and delicious! Mine was extra garlicky, which I enjoyed. A bit out of the way from the core of LoDo, but worth the walk. Good breakfasty food -- not spectacular. The "Tastes Like Chicken" sandwich was victim of the current curse of "tall food is better, even if you can't eat it that way." The breakfast burrito was more egg than anything else. We eschewed the bottomless mimosas and maries that seem to be the main draw. Staff was friendly and helpful. In short, worth it for a visit, but it didn't convince me to give up trying other breakfast places in the downtown area. read more

We just had my daughter's wedding reception at The Lobby this past weekend. It couldn't have been a more positive experience! The ambiance was perfect...beautiful lighting on both the patio and inside, white table cloths and the tables set beautifully, each place setting with wine glasses and stylish plates. The appetizers included many delicious choices such as caprese skewers, elegant seasoned shrimp, gourmet cheeses, and more. Dinner was fantastic as well. The buffet included very tender sliced steak, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, seasoned green beans , potatoes, and spinach salad with fruit and blue cheese. Desserts were amazing as well. We had an open bar with premium choices. Those tending the bar were so friendly, always smiling, and on top of things. All the servers were fabulous and attentive. We moved downstairs for DJ and dancing after dinner, and I don't think I've seen a crowd have more fun! I cannot recommend The Lobby enough! Everything was smooth and wonderful! Held my retirement party at The Lobby on May 30th, and it was fabulous! Initially met with Christian back in November to book the party, and he was helpful in answering all of my questions. Later in the planning process, Branwyn took over, and she likewise was wonderful to ensure that all the details were set. The party turned out even better than I was hoping! The food was so delicious (I selected shrimp and grits, steak frites, caprese skewers, chicken and waffles, burgers, BLATs). Branwyn and the other staff did such a fantastic job taking care of all of my guests (about 115) from a service standpoint. The ambience of the Lobby is really charming for a private function, and it's rare to have a venue all to yourself! The patio area is just beautiful. This This is by far one of my toughest review I've ever had to do... So let me start off by saying I was extremely excited to try this place. Unfortunately I wasn't able to sit down and brunch but I called and let them know I was in route to the air port and was kinda crunched for time so I wanted to do a to go order. And a good deal 16-20oz for only $5!!!! Thats a steal .. so I get my food and I ask for straws, napkins and silverware which staff seemed shocked I requested because they obviously weren't in the bag. Nor were they offered with my drinks.. maybe it's a denver thing but I thought that was standard to drop in any togo order bag. I get in the car and realized they didn't provide and sauce syrup or anything in the bag except whipped butter ... now when I placed my order staff was adamant that I choose a dipping sauce for my chicken .. so I was excited to try this jalapeño stuff cause i love spice . Nothing but chicken that clearly was cooked too fast. (Skin was black and the meat was still red ). So what ever i was gonna eat the chicken it wasn't the first time I had crispy chicken but I wasn't eating no dry French toast ‍ so boom there go money down the train. Then I pulled the chicken open and seen bubbles BUBBLES!!!! Because it was still raw!! Now I understand wanting to please the customer because I obviously was in a rush but please don't ever rush and cook the food !! This place was such a disappointment. It's not good at all. First of all, their decor downstairs reminds me of a restaurant where you'd have a retirement party. No joke - it's that sad. Secondly, my food came out 20 minutes after the rest of my party. They didn't have the order ready and everyone was basically done eating by the time I got mine. I ordered eggs over medium and they were barely cooked, the sausage I got was overcooked and dry, and my English muffin was barely toasted. It was disgusting. I also don't appreciate that when I walked into the establishment the hostess looked at me without any sort of greeting and was extremely standoffish. Our waiter also seemed miserable and didn't greet us. My friend ordered a burger that had no cheese on it and was extremely overcooked. Lastly, I ordered a drink that was supposed to be garnished with an orange slice and it wasn't. Seems small but the complete lack of care and attention at this restaurant is disappointing. I would never recommend this place and the only reason it got 2 stars was because their espresso martini was good. I'll be sure to steer people away from this place. It's not worth it. read more

We had my son and daughter in laws rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect. Christian was great to work with and very accommodating to our needs, the food was amazing, it was beautiful and staff was great. I highly recommend if your looking for a quiet more intimate dinner. We did our on the patio, it did rain so we had to move I side for a short period of time but it was no problem they accommodated us perfectly and the inside was beautiful with the lighted stairwell and wood work. Came here at 11am on Saturday with a reservation for 10 people. They sat us within a few minutes at a downstairs table. It was very crowded, bustling with people. We came for the bottomless mimosas and we were mot disappointed - they came out in what was basically a goblet, with additional pitchers for the table. We did not find the bottom... The food was also great - I ordered the Challah at ya breakfast sandwich with tater tots on the side. The food was filling! I would come here again. read more
