They have plenty of options, but I enjoy the birthday cake cookie the best! The Oreo is a close second. My favorite shake is the birthday cake cookie, with vanilla ice cream infused with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and sprinkles, topped with birthday cake cookie and caramel. Amazing!! I came in during the early evening. There is a nice selection of cookies and I found myself struggling to make a decision on just one. I have to be honest, I didn't realize they bake the cookies fresh (which is great!) and didn't anticipate waiting for them to bake. Just mentioning this bc i def would have ordered ahead. I dragged my sister (who didn't even want dessert at all) and brother-in-law (who will go along with any scheme) out to Bloomfield to give this a whirl. Got a box of eight. Normally I'd break it down by flavor, but my review works for all eight flavors. 1) They are soooooooooooooooo warm and soft out of the oven. They stay soft and chewy for at least 45 minutes. If you like melty medium-rare doughy cookies, yes yes yes yes 2) Flavors are well balanced. My BIL thought they were a little too sweet, my sister thought way too sweet, but I thought they were just fine. You can really taste each flavor. The cheesecake cookie tastes like cheesecake. The salted caramel pretzel is savory on top of sweet. The Nutella tastes like the Garden of Eden. Etc. 3) I drank a half gallon of milk in about 3 hours while going through this box. It was pure bliss and I regret nothing. I will say that it's not a super great value. You're paying $3.50 a cookie, to a little under $3/per when you get the box. They're not huge cookies. So I placed an order more then an hour before they were closing. I had to pick up my order in 30 mins. so I headed out to the location since its 20 mins away. I don't understand the positive reviews for this place. These are really underwhelming cookies. I'd say the best thing about the cookies were that they were warm when I picked them up. Well unfortunately it doesn't take an expert to produce warm cookies. There were several things that I didn't like -I don't know if the they were overcooked or not, but the cookies just fell apart when I picked them up. Maybe it wouldve been better if I waited for them to cool down, but I've had freshly baked cookies before that don't crumble like this -1hr wait time for cookies?!?! Not sure if they wait for an order to go grocery shopping, but this is really silly. Fortunately I had read reviews about the wait time, so I placed the order well in advance. But 1hr really is unacceptable -The cookies were way too sweet. I tried nutella and fruit pebbles. Both were okay, but just too sweet. And this is coming from a sweet tooth! -For the nutella stuffed cookie, I would say that "stuffed" is too generous a word. There was maybe a little more than average nutella in there. Note that if you buy an 8 pack of cookies, these come at a premium of $1 each, which is not worth it imo -finally, they automatically add a 15% tip when you place an online take out order. This wasn't immediately obvious. I'm totally fine with tipping, but I hate it when places just automatically add it for takeout service. The customer should be able to elect to tip. And keep in mind that they don't even answer the phone to answer questions... everything needs to be done online. The recorded voice message says to text questions... I text whether something was in stock and did not receive a response. I'd at least appreciate a response if they are automatically tipping If you want good cookies in NJ, Bang is much much better than this place. But since I don't live in the area, we just stopped in to pick up. Unfortunately, they had a bit of an issue with their system, so it took quite awhile before got our cookies. We got a four pack of cookies, choosing the Nutella stuffed chocolate chip, NYC Cheesecake, Cap'n Crunch and Peanut Butter cup cookies. They're all solid, large cookies, and they're served warm. Not bad for $3 a pop, but I honestly prefer smaller cookies at a lower price so I can try more varieties. Wow! Did this place ever live up to the high reviews! I've been meaning to try this place for a long time, but the hours are a little wonky. It's only open in the evenings. Which is a shame to me. I know the college kids get late night munchies, but I would totally go for a morning cookie. Anyway, onto the cookies. I stopped in to pick some up, and the store is small but cozy. They have a display where you can see the cookies, which was super helpful when compared to just photos. I opted for the Nutella and the Peanut Butter Cup, but honestly I wanted to try them all. They are HUGE! My initial plan was to eat half of one a day but...that didn't pan out. If you want to split with a friend or loved one, half a cookie is plenty, but if you are alone, the other half will beckon to you. Both were really soft and sweet and delicious. They also have a rewards program, so they will tempt me to come more if I can earn free things. I ordered pickup because that was my only option since they didn't deliver to my area 20min away. This place went viral and is super busy. I came on a Saturday night and my pickup took 1 hour. I was disappointed because I ordered s'mores and cinnamon roll but I guess they didn't have it because they replaced it with a regular chocolate chip cookie and an extra Nutella. I would have like to know this when I went to pick it up or they could've called me to tell me. If I knew, I wouldn't have ordered 8 cookies, but instead just 4. We also tried the cookies and they all felt a little raw inside. Both my boyfriend and I were in the bathroom all night after eating the cookies. I think that maybe they are so busy that they have to rush the baking process. Not sure. I will say that I did enjoy the fruty peblz cookie the best. This place is a great local late night cookie spot. I've been here twice already, and they did a remodel between both of my visits. The main change was they painted the walls with cookies and put up a neon sign inside. I still think it needs a brighter sign outside the store front because it is kind of hard to notice when driving by. The inside does look really cool though with some nice decor. I'm not a huge cookie person, but these cookies are really good. The first time I went i had the birthday cake one and coconut. The birthday cake was a little too sweet and the coconut was really good. Now I don't know if they tweaked the recipe with the remodel but the cookies tasted a lot better this time. I got the cookies and cream and captain crunch. They both tasted amazing. They were both pretty soft and the flavors tasted great. The best part of this place to me, which is the main reason it gets five stars is the service. Both times I went, both of the owners were there and they are extremely friendly and great guys.
