The last time I had glazed donuts was at the former Fort Lee location and I really enjoy them. I came and ordered what I thought was a half dozen artisan donuts but what they don't disclose online is that weekend specials are not included in the artisan donut box price. There also isn't a clear menu at this location with prices at former Fort Lee location, there was. I really enjoyed the cannoli donut, the spring special: guava and cream cheese donut, the Bavarian cream filled cronut, and the cold brew infused donut - it was my favorite. It was so soft, not too strong and not too sweet. The perfect balance and the cream on top was just delectable and fluffy. I also tried the Dubai chocolate but was not a fan of the very sweet pistachio filling inside, the Italian rainbow doughnut was also very sweet, did not enjoy it. Overall, I enjoyed some of the donuts but a couple of them were too sweet for my preference. The ambience is chill. I don't really see it as a place where I'd hang out but maybe some people would! Service was fine. The woman at the counter knew all of her donut flavors and gave us some recommendations Parking is street parking so if you get there early as soon as they open up, you should be able to find parking. After passing this place a million times, I finally went in and got some donuts. And let me just say it was very much worth it I got half a dozen donuts (2 chocolate sprinkle for my 1 and 5 year olds) I loovveeddd how fresh the cream was for the tiramisu, Dubai and Chantelly fresa nutella donuts. Wasn't sweet at all but it was a perfect balance for the moist texture of each donut. Definitely made with care and patience. The only downfall for me was that I wish the Dubai chocolate donut tasted like Dubai chocolate... it had the components a Dubai chocolate would have but it didn't taste like it. My #1 favorite was the tiramisu donut, tasted to fresh, was nice and fluffy. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone who wants some freshly made donuts! read more

I have a lot of thoughts on this one. To address some points made by other reviews: are the donuts pricey? Yes. Did it hurt the wallet? Yes. However, I found them to be incredible, asking where they had been all my life. This made the pricing bearable because they are THAT GOOD. Those near and dear to me know I love a good donut. My wife and I visited this location for the first time, and I will certainly return. Donuts were fresh, and there was something for every taste here. Churro, French toast, cronut, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Apple-stuffed caramel, blueberry crumb...I mean, come on! Staff were courteous, kind, friendly, and helpful. Shop was spotlessly clean. Parking could be a bit challenging, so I advise using the municipal lot across the road and walking the block. Why four stars you ask? The donuts are not labeled in the case, making it difficult to know what they are and what is available. The staff very patiently explained what each was, which was great. However, would be nice to just make a selection based on labels. Overall, will be back often! read more

Probably the best tasting donuts I've had in a long time. This was a last minute decision to indulge in something sweet and Glaze Donuts was it. At almost 1/2 hour before closing, their donuts were still fresh. The staff was kind and so helpful on helping with my selection since it was my first time there. I chose their classic one. No regrets and still craving to go back. The place was vey clean and with to option to sit, relax and enjoy their delicious donuts right. Glaze Donuts offered the most delicious donuts I've had in quite a while. I have been to their other locations before, so I knew what I was getting myself into. These donuts are bigger than most, which comes with a steeper price. Besides their usual lineup of donuts, they offer special donuts that were for a limited time. The service was patient and friendly as it took some time for me to decide. A dozen donuts ($50) were ordered, and I will give my thoughts on the ones I had (Tried 10). All of the textures of the donuts were ideal. Peppermint - This was one of the special donuts. This was tasty. The peppermint taste was definitely apparent, and I thought it was a little too much. Gingerbread - This was another special. This tasted a little too much of a ginger flavor. It surprisingly needed a little more sweetness to it. Eggnog - This was again a special. This was very heavy and dense. There was frosting on the top and a filing on the inside. It tasted exactly like eggnog. I really enjoyed it despite how heavy it was. Anise Donut - This was the last special I had. It had a combination of anise flavor as well as lemon. This was unexpectedly my favorite one. I really enjoyed the blend of lemon and anise. It was also very light. Apple Cider - This was a traditional flavor, and it did not disappoint. The apple cider was clearly noticeable, and it was just very good. Cold Brew Coffee Donut - I am not a fan of coffee, but I was curious to try this anyway as maybe my mind would change, but alas, it was not meant to be. The icing was coffee flavor, and I just did not enjoy it. Twix - This had too much of a caramel taste to it. I would have liked to see more chocolate incorporated, but it was not too bad. Oreo - This was great as it had tons of Oreo cookies pieces and they appeared fresh. The vanilla icing also was very tasty. Glaze Jelly - This was another classic that got the job done. There was tons of jelly filing with an appropriate amount of glaze. This was great. French Toast - This was excellent. The white sugar dusting enhanced the French toast donut layer. It was probably in my top three tried of the day. Will I go back? Easily. read more

Did not even know Glaze Donuts was coming to Nutley and was pleasantly surprised to pass by and see this the other day. Finally stopped in and got a half a dozen for me and my girls to try. We ordered a couple fruity pebbles, a churro, a jelly, a strawberry frosted, and a cronut. The service was great, been there twice and all the kids working there were very friendly. The one kid even warned me that the cronut was more expensive. No problem there. It's a small store with a couple tables inside, it was very clean. Located right on Franklin Ave. which is the main strip. Plenty of parking. The donuts were very good. The fruity pebbles was a big hit and I enjoyed the cronut and the Jelly. Also tried the Churro donut on another visit which might be my favorite. Glad the are in Nutley.....will be back. read more

Glaze has been a go to for a bit. If you're looking for fresh donuts that are exciting, come here. I will say some of the donuts can be a bit yeast heavy and leave a bitter taste, but the flavors like cannoli or strawberry shortcake are balanced nicely.
