We got an assorted box of donuts right before closing, and they were still really fresh! Their moccha donut was great and so was the strawberry one! The place itself has a nice aesthetic and enough space for seating. The staff was really nice and they keep the line moving when it's packed!

Us getting free donuts from the boss

First I asked for a mini Nutella I then place 3 Dollie's and 90 cents on the table he rejects me by saying my the 3.75 dollar donut is 4 and I'm ten under I ask if he can still let it slide he says no he tell me to do ten pushups then proceeds to say he was joking after I do it.but the boss then came in and corrected the cashier and we got free donuts

Smells amazing as soon as you walk into the bakery! Ahhhh! On a Saturday, I got there around 10am, they had a line out the door. This line usually last until around 2-3. They do run out of their specialities doughnut. Get there early to see everything they have to offer! Around 2pm, they ran out of eggs. Not a big deal, but just be warned to get there early to try everything they have!! They do not have restrooms for customers. There are a few indoor seats.

Maple glazed bacon donut with a bite taken - check out that pillowy soft dough texture!

Dropped by on a Saturday morning - the bakery was alive with cheerful families, but there wasn't a long wait. I was able to easily find street parking in front of the building next door. The donuts were amazing! I tried a fudge covered sourdough donut - the sweet, dense chocolate fudge was a great balance to the almost springy, soft, tangy sourdough of the donut itself. I've never had anything like it! I also got a maple glazed bacon brioche donut which was delicious as well. The brioche dough was soft and pillowy- the perfect yeast donut texture - and the ratio of dough to glaze was perfect for the sweetness of the maple. The smoky saltiness of the bacon on top was a delicious contrast. I definitely want to return and try other flavors next time I'm in the area!

Staff was so nice and extremely helpful. Even on a snow day they were so kind and happy to help guide us on which donuts to choose from. The croissant was DIVINE. The place is not very spacious but it is cozy, clean and cute! Just enough space to eat a donut or a sandwich and head out! Really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back

Make sure to place your order online to confirm they have the flavors you are looking for. Plenty of parking on street and/or in side parking lot. Very nice/helpful staff and the donuts cannot be beat

I've had this place saved for years because I've seen so many good things about it. I was finally in the area so I decided to pop in this afternoon. All of the selections looked really good but I think they were already sold out of a few things. I ordered a tres leches donut because I'm a sucker for tres leches, and asked the employee for a recommendation between the sourdough doughnut options. He said he really liked the coffee one so I opted for that one. The doughnuts are massive and very pretty. However, the texture was off to me. Not quite stale, but they weren't as fluffy and soft as I hoped-- the texture resembled more of like bread, or like a Kaiser roll? Don't get me wrong, I love a chewy bread, but this wasn't really chewy in the right way to me either. The pastry cream on the tres leches was pretty tasty though, and the dough that was covered by the cream was softer. The sourdough also had a tangy flavor that was interesting, but I'm not sure it paired well with the coffee.

Stopped by Montclair Bread Company after breakfast and had an awesome experience. The bakery is super clean and as soon as you walk in the staff are super welcoming and friendly. All of the croissants, donuts and baked goods looked outstanding so it was hard to choose. I went with the classic pink frosted donut and it was absolutely delicious! You can taste the difference between a real donut like this and the stuff you get at Dunkin. I cannot reccomend Montclair Bread Company enough, and I'll be back to try their almond croissant!

Very good! Stopped in around 1:30pm on a Tuesday and the selection was still solid although I do feel things would be fresher early in the AM. Tried the Oreo, Tres Leche, and seasonal peach cobbler. The Oreo was delish, I ate that one immediately. I tried the other 2 later in the evening! They were just okay, little dry/underwhelming?Would absolutely love to stop back in! The young girl behind counter was very nice as well. Cute seating outside and parking is limited!

I came here for breakfast and had their sourdough donut, coffee and croissant. Everything was delicious and the service was great. I originally got the sourdough donut but it wasn't to my personal liking so they gave me a s'more donut on the house. The s'more donut was fluffy, sweet and perfection.

I feel bad that I didn't LOVE it here because I know this is a Montclair staple...but I felt the donuts were a little dry and not the best I've had. It is a lovely location to come and sit with your family and friends. A great spot to bring those with kids. I would like to come back and try the ice cream but I don't foresee myself rushing back for doughnuts. The aesthetic of the donuts are great.

This is a cute, artisanal shop in Montclair! Pros: - They make more than enough donuts! I've heard of many donut shops running out quickly, but we went around 11 am and they still had tons - They taste AMAZING!! I cannot say enough about how fresh these donuts are - The monthly flavors are done so well, they're original while also being generic enough for many to enjoy Cons: - While they taste great, almost $5 for a single donut is really overpriced (even for the area) - They changed the ordering structure so you have to order from an outside window, even if it's raining. There is indoor seating, but waiting in the rain is a bummer. Their old setup was easier to navigate. I would recommend checking this place out!

It's one of those dishes that gets even more delicious as you eat it. The meal was perfectly balanced, made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The chef was back there doin his thing! The pancakes were fluffy came topped with blueberries and strawberries, and a generous carafe of dulce de leche. Located in Montclair, this small breakfast and lunch spot is a local favorite. The service was really good, they were very attentive to our large group and my toddler. They had some books for him. There's free street parking right up front. I've been here twice and both visits were positive experiences. The cafe is small, but cozy. The greenery and natural lighting make it a welcoming space to meet up with a friend over coffee and pastries or to study. There's a few tables, a couch, and stool seating facing the window. There's also free wifi and outlets. The tables are on the smaller side and the cafe isn't that big, so it's probably not best for large groups. Their menu is simple and a bit limited. Honestly... I prefer it that way! They have your core espresso drinks and a few paninis and croissant sandwiches. They bake their own pastries fresh on the premises. I recommend trying their cookies - they are huge, soft, and chewy! They also specialize in custom cakes for special occasions. Everything is reasonably priced. Baristas are sweet and efficient. They make some tasty iced lattes! The espresso is strong, but not too bitter. It has just the right balance of coffee and milk. I recently tried the Ham Solo sandwich ($10) which included scrambled egg, ham, cheddar, and avocado on a croissant with a side of chips. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. The egg was dry and the ham and cheese tasted like those cheap, pre-sliced ones from grocery stores. If I lived closer, I could see myself stopping by more often. Check them out if you're in the area!

We got the BLT sandwich with sauteed onions, micki mouse shaped waffle, birria tacos and shashuska. We also got the chicken and steak empanadas and also strawberry mint lemonade and mint lemonade. The food was good. The Shashuska and Birria Tacos were tasty. The birria tacos however were VERY oily...the oil was dripping out!
