I absolutely cannot recommend Plum Bakery enough! I've been going to this tiny store for several years, even back when the Plum Diner was a thing a few streets away. Occasionally, I want a yummy gluten-free treat and I know I can come here for something delicious. You name it, you can find it here- donuts, bagels, cookies, brownies, etc. A few months ago, I was able to find a lemon meringue pie and I nearly cried tears of joy. I haven't had a slice of delicious lemon meringue in over six years, so I was beyond delighted to grab one. It was divine and one of my favorite things I've gotten there. I always leave with a heavy box full of reasonably priced items and a smile. Don't be flaky, swing by the bakery.

Still going strong after 2.5 years! Come early if you want a good selection! Everything is made fresh that morning and stuff sells out quick! Closes early when it's all gone! So call ahead!

A family member surprised me with three treats from here. I've never been here myself but they thought I would like their baked goods since I am GF. I tried the eclair, brownie and the cinnamon roll. Overall, everything was sugared up. That's my main issue. Brownie didn't need the icing as it is very sweet already. The eclair was also very very sweet. Filling was all sugary. The cinnamon roll was ok. I made cinnamon rolls at home actually so it tasted just like those. Nothing I would really crave or come back for. Unfortunately, it's a total miss for me. But maybe I will go to their restaurant soon which is at a different location.

Really love this bakery! So comforting knowing it is 100% gluten free. I also have a nut allergy, which I get so nervous/hesitant about, and Plum Bakery marks their items with nuts. Usually one or two items have nuts and they are clearly labeled and on separate trays. Usually gluten free bread is pretty blah, but their country bread loaf is delicious! And their baguettes are also super yummy. Their broccoli, spinach and goat cheese quiche is absolutely tasty as well. Definitely a must try for gluten free people, and those who are not!

I didn't eat here, but I had a pastrami sandwich next door. They served the pastrami on bread from Plum. It was very good bread.

Best in town! Excellent. Not a huge fan of the vegan creamcheese but otherwise you made my family happy.

This awesome, woman-owned small…read morebusiness came highly recommended by a good friend, who has gotten her daughters' birthday cakes from Sweetcheeks, so I had experience with the beauty and the yummy taste. When I needed to plan for my daughter's birthday, it was a no-brainer. Kaylyn was super communicative and helpful; I sent photos of my daughter's party invitation and she did the rest in terms of design. It was simply spectacular! Gorgeous beyond what I could even imagine. She was also helpful in discussing amounts (size of cake, amount of cupcakes, servings and leftovers) to make sure we had plenty without overdoing it. She never tried to get me to order more or spend more, which I respected. The morning of pickup, Kaylyn sent me abundant photos and videos of the cake and cupcakes and I was blown away! She was flexible with pickup at her house, provided cake cutting instructions and storage tips, and made the whole process easy. We received a ton of compliments at the party on how gorgeous the cake and cupcakes were, and the flavors were a hit! As delicious to the tummy as they are to the eye! I will definitely be using Sweetcheeks for our family parties going forward!

She was highly recommended from an acquaintence. The theme was "2 sweet" I had sent her 2 photos for inspiration for an idea of what I wanted. I felt like I was an easy customer. I picked up the cake and I remember her finger nails looked dirty but I just thought it was from the cakes. At my initial first look of the cake, I liked it. I left it out in the shade, it was an outside party. When I looked at the cake, my daughter's name looked like it was slapped on by a child and the top fondant swirl on top was uneven. No big deal... When I finally cut into the cake, it was very hard and seemed very dry right away. Not a typical moist cake. I honestly had no desire to even taste it and felt bad distributing it out. I had asked a few people how they liked it and they even said it was dry but the icing and everything else was good. I think they tried to be nice. I messaged SJ telling her I was not happy with it and even my guests felt the same. She was speechless and her feelings were hurt that I didn't like the cake. When she asked what she can do, I told her I wanted 50% off. Since most of it went in the garbage too. She eventually became very defensive and blamed me and saying something about the butter and how it didn't melt in the shade or how I should've left it out longer..? Which I never heard of and also saying she uses fresh ingredients and all her cakes are fresh and she puts in a lot of time into each of her cakes. I do believe her so I don't understand why I felt my cake was so hard and dry. Her husband even messaged me too. I even showed her screen shots of what my guests said and how they agreed that the cake was very dry. She didn't like that I sent her what my guests said. Eventually I got my $100, this was 2 years ago so I will never order from here again.

We added some deco from Amazon to complete the theme and he loved it. The cake was delicious!

With all the old guard now in the history books I began searching for a new reliable bakery. Very first visit here and... I was on the fence. Second visit... okay, I'm a fan. Subsequent visits... actually I'm a big fan. From red velvet cookies to Sfogliatella to carrot cake - they have more than enough treats to quell your sweet tooth. The breads (the reason I find myself here most times) - incredible. Rolls (of varying sizes) as well as a damn perfect bastone (crunchy and flaky, ready to be piled high for a sandwich) not to mention... the almighty Pizza Bread?! Oh, yeah. A bit more rare to find but the only proper 'pane' if/when you're going to make an Italian hot dog. They also have a side/section with a full deli if savory is more your speed. Cool staff. Good pricing. Metered street parking but be warned... this one specific street feels more like a strip mall - with probably a dozen businesses (liquor stores to salons to fitness centers to a few restaurants to...) - all vying for those spots. (And if you ever need an icebreaker at a social gathering... tell 'em "da Vinci" wasn't actually Leonardo's last name. You're sure to be a hit at the party!)
