Bee Sting

This review is solely about the sandwich I had--I didn't interact with any staff or visit the store myself. A friend brought it to me to try. I'd rate it 2.5 out of 5 stars. It looked really good, but the flavor just wasn't there. The bagel also didn't seem very fresh and was quite tough. From what I understand, it was a bit pricey for what it was. I also tried an iced coffee, which was unfortunately similar--lacking in flavor and somewhat overpriced. Because of that, I wouldn't be inclined to visit the shop at this time. However, I'll keep an eye on future reviews to see if there are any improvements that might change my mind.

3 stars for the Cookie Butter Cold Brew (I added oatmilk) because it was delicious! This location has been open for over 2 weeks now and still has a very hectic vibe to it. As soon as you walk in there are people standing kind of in a line and kind of not, once you figure out where the line to order is you can either order with a person or in the kiosk. Ordering is quick, but the wait for your order is where things start to get lost.. we ordered 2 coffees and it was read to us with the name & 2 of 2, but the first one never came out, we made them away and they swore they gave it to us. There are multiple folks in the kitchen cooking, but when passing to the pick up area everything is not labeled. As for the food, I had the Fuego on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and wasn't too impressed. Decent bagel, but the sandwich itself was just okay.

Everyone who knows me is aware of just how much I despise the utter chaos and disorganization that seems to plague every single bagel shop in NJ. O'Bagel successfully avoids this trap by utilizing a large space with digital kiosks that allow customers to easily place orders. While they have a counter available to order from, the kiosk is usually quick and easy to navigate. They have a variety of bagels, sandwiches, sides, and drinks available, but I have opted for their gluten-free bagels every visit. The gf bagels taste a little typical, IYKYK, but for the convenience of being able to go out with my SO to grab breakfast, I can't complain. The service is usually very speedy, and everything seems to run efficiently. They have some tables and counter seating, but if you visit during peak hours, good luck getting a seat.

Such a welcome addition to the neighborhood I adore their seasonal coffees and bagels. The vanilla frosted cinnamon bagel with milk and cookies cream cheese is decadent.

Tried the gluten free plain bagel and thought it was pretty tasty! My husband had the egg and cheese bagel sandwich and also thought it was pretty good. The wait was pretty long on the weekend morning so arrive early.

Ordered the Fuego, and while the sandwich was pretty tasty...I'm extremely disappointed with the portion size (see picture) of chicken cutlet. $10.50 for what amounts to be a mini bagel and a few ounces of chicken is unacceptable. Would not order again.

As a Montclair local, it was exciting trying O'Bagel for the first time! The staff is just as friendly as they appear to be on social media. I would say my experience there was my favorite. I had a plain taylor ham, egg, and cheese. My boyfriend got the bee sting, and it was far more delicious! I would say try ordering off their designed menu as the bagels listed are far more delicious and flavorful. If you're looking to order a traditional bagel, I would say going somewhere else local will surpass. Can't wait to come back and try their coffees!

Went on opening day and the line was out the door which seemed like a good sign. I had never tried O'Bagel's other locations so I went in completely blind. I got their Jersey Debate on an everything bagel- I believe a way to gauge a good bagel shop is by how their taylor ham, egg and cheese tastes -. Unfortunately, they had ran out of everything bagels so I told them to give me a plain one (side note: It had been 35 minutes since I ordered when I heard an employee say to another one that they had ran out of everything, so that's when I told them to switch mine to whatever they had available. I believe that, as soon as they ran out, they should've made an announcement for others who were ordering through the tablets and didn't know they were getting something that wasn't available). The bagel was okay, and a bit less than average in my opinion. I do have to say that they did a great job with the Taylor Ham, but that is about it. They have plenty of seating inside so I was able to grab a table and eat there which was appreciated since I had been waiting for a total of over an hour before I got my food. Overall, there are much better bagel shops in Montclair so I'd give those others a try instead.

Bagel was good. But I found a hair inside the sandwich :(((( I literally had to pull it out

"Lightly toasted" but gave me light cream cheese (?)

I'm a big everything bagel guy (and either with BEC or with just plain untoasted with butter). They always have some fun variations on the typical everything bagel. Love when they have the Asiago Everything available - what a treat! Tons of cheese melted on top and it just goes really well with whatever you pair it with. Been going here now and then for years. Not always the easiest spot to get parking (the lot can fill up for sure) and sometimes there's a wait, but the bagels are always super fresh and delicious. Highly recommended if you're in the Clifton area or coming through and need a bite. Just realize there are no tables or anything, so you may have to bring home or eat in your car!

Oh no, you're out of TP. Your hands will be just fine. But finish the review before you get your hands browned. Greened? Too far. I puddled my way into the plaza parking lot on my parade around the paradoxical Clifton streets. My pet mule Paco would've hated it here. He needs his open land. Good Paco. Spots were hard to come by, in fact, they were non-existent. The first of many good signs. Half vehicle over the hump, other two tires on the gravel. Scraped the bottom of his vehicle just to get in line for these bagels. The verdict was already in and the verdict man hadn't even entered the building. Like a club, you had to step in line and seduce the bouncer to be allowed into the party. No problem for me, of course, I was figuratively spanked through the front door and into line as others waited their turn in the cold. My order was large, and in charge, but the variety could've been better from me and my folks. The look of their bagels were handsome. Kind of luscious. With the heat in this place getting to me, mixed with the sights and sounds, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit aroused. A spunky cinnamon raisin winked at me, but I don't understand flirtation and unfortunately missed out on the suggestiveness of the approach. I stook to a brekky sandy. The bagel was fresh, warm, soft. The egg was plenty. The protein was plenty. The cheeeeese was melting over itself, into my percolating and perky lap. I left it there, as a badge of honor. It disappeared later, oh how? You ask? Don't ask questions of which you know the answer, you dust ball you. I heard the omelette also hit the spot. They had Coffee, Bagel and Cream Cheese of the month. All the varieties of bagels were likely scrumptious individuals. It takes one to know one ayeeee nowwww. Plaza Bagels & Deli, a hidden gem blending into the crowded, coagulated corridors of Clifton.
