Espresso walnut brownie Think was $7
Raven N.

Saw them on a list (not high up there) but they're close to us so we said let's try. I've been to other spots in the area and did not notice them nor the bagel spot that was there before them. Inside is small. Service is decent but the goods were not it. At 10 on a Sunday selection was limited. I guess people are flocking in early but I am not sure for what. I think the hype is for the fun new combos they have. The spicy scallion cream cheese was a fun new twist and good. I understand the texture changes as they sit but these were not chewy bagels, these were crunchy, stab your gumbs. I had to take it home and microwave to try and soften. The brownie was also a brick. Plenty of nuts but not what a brownie should be. It got dipped in hot chocolate to soften.

Harvey on a scallion bagel

There's more than enough bagel places in Montclair (and the surrounding area) but I love the innovative and fun offerings at this restaurant. They took over Harvey's bagels space and are doing wonderful things. I ordered the Harvey (Taylor ham, egg, cheese, and spicy scallion cream cheese) on a scallion bagel. Delicious!

Grand Daddy Purple (ube cream cheese on whatever bagel you want) on plain

Found out about this place on IG and decided to check them out. Elite bagel shop. I tried their Grand Daddy Purple, which is Ube cream cheese on whatever bagel you want, because it's something out of the ordinary and it didn't disappoint. The menu is very creative and I'm anxious to try some of the other items they have. It's a small space but the people are friendly and they get you out of there pretty quick. I'll definitely be back.

The Harvey on everything bagel

One of my favorite breakfasts in Montclair. The bagels are crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle, with lots of seeds on top. Nice variety of sandwiches, The Harvey is my favorite. Tons of flavored cream cheeses to pick from as well. Sometimes a bit of a wait on the weekends but very worth it!

Had the Harvey and it was bomb. Knocked a star off because the bagel selection was slim pickings @ 10AM on a Saturday.

Plaza Bagels makes some of the best bagels around. And that's saying something considering all of…read morethe fantastic bagel spots in North Jersey. I'm a big everything bagel guy (and either with BEC or with just plain untoasted with butter). They always have some fun variations on the typical everything bagel. Love when they have the Asiago Everything available - what a treat! Tons of cheese melted on top and it just goes really well with whatever you pair it with. Been going here now and then for years. Not always the easiest spot to get parking (the lot can fill up for sure) and sometimes there's a wait, but the bagels are always super fresh and delicious. Highly recommended if you're in the Clifton area or coming through and need a bite. Just realize there are no tables or anything, so you may have to bring home or eat in your car!

Oh no, you're out of TP. Your hands will be just fine. But finish the review before you get your hands browned. Greened? Too far. I puddled my way into the plaza parking lot on my parade around the paradoxical Clifton streets. My pet mule Paco would've hated it here. He needs his open land. Good Paco. Spots were hard to come by, in fact, they were non-existent. The first of many good signs. Sign 2, the rush to spots as happy customers waddled their way out of the warmth of bagel land back into the January cold. 2026. Brrrr. I, a very non-cutthroat savage, savagely cut-off a granny for a spot. In the wild, only those who can find peace in chaos THRIVE. We cannot live to just survive. LOD - Linguini Quote of the Day. Stay with me now. Awooooooo. Oh no, a full moon nears. But not yet. Not today. Anyways, Some punk purposefully torpedoed his jeep into a snow bank. Half vehicle over the hump, other two tires on the gravel. Scraped the bottom of his vehicle just to get in line for these bagels. The verdict was already in and the verdict man hadn't even entered the building. Like a club, you had to step in line and seduce the bouncer to be allowed into the party. No problem for me, of course, I was figuratively spanked through the front door and into line as others waited their turn in the cold. My order was large, and in charge, but the variety could've been better from me and my folks. The look of their bagels were handsome. Kind of luscious. With the heat in this place getting to me, mixed with the sights and sounds, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit aroused. A spunky cinnamon raisin winked at me, but I don't understand flirtation and unfortunately missed out on the suggestiveness of the approach. I stook to a brekky sandy. The bagel was fresh, warm, soft. The egg was plenty. The protein was plenty. The cheeeeese was melting over itself, into my percolating and perky lap. I left it there, as a badge of honor. It disappeared later, oh how? You ask? Don't ask questions of which you know the answer, you dust ball you. I heard the omelette also hit the spot. They had Coffee, Bagel and Cream Cheese of the month. All the varieties of bagels were likely scrumptious individuals. It takes one to know one ayeeee nowwww. Plaza Bagels & Deli, a hidden gem blending into the crowded, coagulated corridors of Clifton.
