Such a solid brunch spot. The food is fresh, flavorful, and never disappoints. I love the pancakes, they're always perfectly done. Coffee's great too! It does get busy on weekends, but the vibe is good and worth the wait. Just an easy, feel-good place to start your day in Montclair.

One thing have to say, hospitality is very welcoming. I always one here for the pancakes something about fast so good. I would recommend that. Everything here is made fresh. I love the fact that the workers are constantly cleaning up and making sure it's top notch. The ambiance is chill very friendly. I would recommend this place anytime. Keep up the good work and amazing service!

This spot has a real Brooklyn vibe in the best way. The wait can run a little long, but it's absolutely worth it once you're seated. The food is consistently delicious--rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If you don't mind sitting close and brushing shoulders with strangers, you're in for a genuine, cozy experience. The pancakes are my top recommendation, but honestly, everything on the menu hits the mark. Keep up the amazing work and stay authentic

Breakfast sandwich + berry pancakes

My aunt treated me to breakfast and said she knew the perfect spot and she was absolutely right! The Corner is such a cute little breakfast spot. It fills pretty quickly, but the vibe is cozy and inviting, and the servers are great. Quick, attentive and super friendly. We started with the cornbread, very buttery and flavorful. Personally, I'm not a fan of actual corn in my cornbread, but it was still really good! For my main, I got the breakfast sandwich with turkey bacon and avocado 10/10! It's been a week and I'm still thinking about it. My aunt had the berry pancakes, and they were just as delicious fluffy, fresh berries, and perfectly sweet. Also, the OJ was freshly squeezed yum! Overall, everything hit the spot great food, great service, and great energy. I'll definitely be back!

Just had a wonderful lunch at The Corner. Very friendly staff. Cool vibe- I loved the tables with industrial piping on wheels! We were seated in a cozy booth. Anyway- my flaked salmon salad was so delicious and fresh. My water glass was constantly being filled- really attentive staff. Also had a mocha with oat milk - perfection. Even though the place was very busy- they made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back.

Really small space - cozy vibes - very Brooklyn. Service was really good - the staff all checked in and gave refills on the coffee and water consistently. The fries were 10000/10 I will be back for them. Latte was pretty good too. They cooked the bacon the way we asked but it didn't have any flavor, which was strange. I don't know if I could ever say that before today. The pancakes are more aesthetically pleasing than tasty - they're cute but don't really have much to them.

Super cute little place, no surprise, on the actual corner! Seems like it's always busy but we lucked out and got a table right away. Servers were attentive and food was good! Menu was a bit limited but seemed like it had something for everyone (veggie, gluten free, sweet, savory options).

Always great to stop by. It has been a while. Their monkey bread is so good. The bread board is one of our favorites to share. My opinion has not changed. So good to see they keep their customers happy and fed !

I did enjoy the food. Service was okay. I had the fresh berry pancakes & the avocado toast. I thought they weee both very good. Lots of syrup on the pancakes but it didn't taste too sweet to me. Very crowded inside but we did eat outside, which was nice.

Was in Montclair and it was time for a late lunch so I decided to finally stop in to The Corner. Whenever I've driven by in the morning there's always a line outside as they're supposed to have great coffee and breakfast, however, it was almost 2pm so there was no line and it was time for lunch ... but I still had this awkward wait time just sort of standing there waiting for someone to greet and seat me. Once I was seated I was given a carafe of water with a filled glass (& the gentleman continued to ensure my glass was never empty which was a nice touch). The menu itself is pretty breakfast heavy but they have daily specials which seem to capture mostly non-breakfast items and I decided to try the Roadside Burger & Fries ... but I literally sat there waiting once again to be acknowledged by a server and place my order (& it was a good 5 minutes). Once my order was placed the meal arrived pretty swiftly. The burger was decent but nothing to write home about and the fries were literally potato sticks because they were so thinly sliced ... if they had been advertised as such I would've opted for a different side if possible. Overall it was a true mid experience ... but I will say the buzz in the restaurant is pretty nice as they had the door open, outdoor seating and it was a beautiful day.

Baked eggs

I had brunch at The Corner on Saturday around 2pm. It was pretty full but still had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. I ordered the baked eggs, which came with a tortilla on the bottom, beans, tomatoes, eggs and avocado on top. It was really tasty and satisfying. My friend had the avocado toast with jammy eggs, and he really liked it too. I also had a chai latte that was perfectly spiced and not too sweet, and my friend enjoyed one of the juices. Everything we had was fresh and well done. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a nice brunch.

I liked the food but the waiters do seem to rush you to hurry up and leave. I went on Sunday so it was a busy day. There was a slight wait but we could see that the manager was doing a good job with organizing and seating folks. Food was good - pastries were good. Only thing was the straw fries were a bit soggy. Juices were delicious. Deviled eggs were good. Once we were slowing down a bit but my friend still had 2 pancakes left and I still had fries I was working on, waiters will constantly keep asking if we were done. We still had biscuits and a deviled egg left that we were working on. There are a handful number of waiters so it really felt like every single waiter back to back kept asking if we were done. We felt uncomfortable so we ended up quickly leaving and didn't finish the food.

Stopped by for a late afternoon lunch--place was packed around 3 pm in the afternoon, but we got seated quickly. Parking is street only, meter on one side and limited time parking on the other. Small menu and not very many options. Everything tasted fresh though, and the fries were super yummy! This is a great spot for light bites and just to chill/hangout with friends.

It's one of those dishes that gets even more delicious as you eat it. The meal was perfectly balanced, made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The chef was back there doin his thing! The pancakes were fluffy came topped with blueberries and strawberries, and a generous carafe of dulce de leche. Located in Montclair, this small breakfast and lunch spot is a local favorite. The service was really good, they were very attentive to our large group and my toddler. They had some books for him. I had the huevas rancheros, which is only available Fri-Sun. It had 2 eggs that came on 2 fried tortillas and a side of potatoes and avocado slices. It was delicious, very flavourful and satisfying. The sourness of the seasoning went really well with the plain bean and tortilla taste and complimented the eggs well. Everyone at the table was satisfied with their meal. There's free street parking right up front. I've been here twice and both visits were positive experiences. The cafe is small, but cozy. The greenery and natural lighting make it a welcoming space to meet up with a friend over coffee and pastries or to study. There's a few tables, a couch, and stool seating facing the window. There's also free wifi and outlets. The tables are on the smaller side and the cafe isn't that big, so it's probably not best for large groups. Their menu is simple and a bit limited. Honestly... I prefer it that way! They have your core espresso drinks and a few paninis and croissant sandwiches. They bake their own pastries fresh on the premises. I recommend trying their cookies - they are huge, soft, and chewy! They also specialize in custom cakes for special occasions. Everything is reasonably priced. Baristas are sweet and efficient. They make some tasty iced lattes! The espresso is strong, but not too bitter. It has just the right balance of coffee and milk. I recently tried the Ham Solo sandwich ($10) which included scrambled egg, ham, cheddar, and avocado on a croissant with a side of chips. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. The egg was dry and the ham and cheese tasted like those cheap, pre-sliced ones from grocery stores. If I lived closer, I could see myself stopping by more often.
