The owner does a wonderful deed of rescuing animals and fostering them back to health. My kids are 4 and 6 and we walk around and pet the rabbits. Our questions (and we have many!) are always answered with time and care. They are very nice to my children and their friends - and as a mother of young children, I very much appreciate that. We first sought to adopt a bonded pair of dogs and upon our meet and greet, our senior dog seemed indifferent, but the pair seemed agitated. I thought that this possibly would pass, but Liz really observed the meeting and said she didn't think it would be a good fit. While I was sad about it at that moment, I knew in my gut she was right. Liz is there for the animals and is very dedicated - even on our town's facebook group for dogs. She always responds to citizens questions when her name is mentioned and has great recommendations for pet parents who need guidance. Liz is a treasure!

They really care about their pets they really know their pets and I respect that. This is a no kill shelter so although they want the cats to go to a good home they will not put the cats in any potentially dangerous situations their screening process is thorough and I really respect it. This is not a shelter that you can just walk in and walk out with a pet they want to make sure that you are match correctly so you do have to stop by a few times it interacts with different cats I could not thank them enough for that because me and my cat get along so well because we took her time to get to know each other. thank you so much for pair me up with my best friend for life!

Selina was a kitten, a stray from south Jersey, and i needed to get her checked out, vaccinated, spayed, the uszh. how do you spell the short for usual? youszh? yuzsh? anyway... I kinda wanted to go somewhere different than Cameron Animal Hospital even though i had gone there for years and it's so close, and I had received a BondVet mailer, advertising their new place in Montclair, and offering $50 off a first visit. I went online to check out their website and i liked that I was able to set up my appointment, picking a date and time, and even the vet i wanted. I hate talking on the phone so this was a major plus for me. Set the appointment, picked Jeniffer Bedoya for Selina's doc, and was set. I got email and text confirmations i had agreed to beforehand which was also great. I was initially going to walk but it was so cold on my first visit i decided to drive. There is a parking lot on the opposite side of Valley Road to park in for only $1/hour, and if full, there is also a parking garage behind the vet for slightly more. This is great because if you're thinking of parking on Bloomfield Ave, fugedddaboudit. Everyone at BondVet is so welcoming and pleasant, from the desk jockey to the vet's assistant to Doc Bedoya. They lovvvved Selina, and treated her with such care. I got all the results, Selina got some shots, they trimmed her claws at my request, set up her spay, paid and I was on my way. I've had i think 4 visits in all? All great experiences. I always leave feeling happy. And as soon as Selina gets home, she runs to make sure her food is still in the kitchen, lol. Also, BondVet is soooo, clean. I guess that should be expected, but I've been to a lot of vets that smell like 20 dogs are drying out from sweat and rain. *holds back wretch* Anyway, I highly recommend. Especially Doc Bedoya, just please don't tie her up too much that she's too busy for Selina in the future. *withholds tear.* (now i need to upload a pic of Selina to my profile...)

There have been times where I've come at a scheduled time for my dog to get an ultrasound, and we've waited for HOURS, only to have it blamed on a third party company. There have been other times, where we've come in for a very noticeable symptom, only to have medication prescribed for something completely different. There have been times where I have been charged THOUSANDS of dollars to resolve something, that wasn't resolved the first time, and there has been no apology, no discount offered to make it right... nothing. We will be going another way. This company operates like it's run by teenagers, and that doesn't work for us.

When the cat and…read moreI didn't work out, they tried to discourage the return but they ultimately allowed it, realizing that the animal did not pair well with a guy who was never around. They gave me credit on my original deposit to a new cat, who became my beloved companion for over 11 years. I have a whole story, but the short version? They toured me around the cat room, let me have 1 on 1 with my chosen feline(s), and then introduced me to a new one who had JUST come in - and she came home with me. That's a special touch, there. They followed up on the status of my failed adoptee, who found a loving house with several people around to give him attention. Well, time moves on, and today I went back to donate the supplies. And they were very accepting and appreciative. Still the same place they always were - a haven of love for your chosen cat, dog, cats, dogs, or both. Or to provide loving care and donations for the animals they are sheltering. Long live MPAS.

That's when we came across this place. Making an appointment was very easy on their website and they specialized in dog/cat spay/neuter for only $200- this also included a microchip. They do charge extra for the cone but I opted to buy my own for her which the nurse even said the pillow ones are more comfortable for them. Drop off and pickup was a breeze and the nurses there are really nice. I was sent home with a set of instructions on what to expect after surgery along with medication for two days to give to my cat. They are happy to answer any question you might have leading up to the appointment and are also available via email after the surgery if you choose to send pictures of how your fur baby is healing. I would use definitely them again in the future.
