    An adoptable cat
    Christa B.

Sooo cute. Booked an hour time slot for my friend's birthday who loves cats. Had a lot of fun playing with the cats and relaxing with them for an hour. Afterwards, was able to get snacks and coffee in the cafe. Very friendly staff and proceeds go toward helping the cats find good homes. Would recommend for any animal lover looking for something fun to do!

    Sweet Euro for adoption.

Our first trip here and it was a great experience. We got a Sunday slot for one hour and took our daughter. Our daughter had a blast, and my husband (who isn't particularly a cat person) had a great time and a favorite buddy. Staff was very nice. Cats were so sweet and the place was immaculate. Great place to kick back and relax for a good cause.

Why did she have to be so miserable when she could have had sweet, ol' lovable me forever. Anyway, nothing has changed other than the menu. The interior still had warm paintings of cute doggos all around, and the service at the bar was spectacular. Peter, I believe was his name, was so courteous, calm, respectful and nothing was a problem, he just took care of things. The starters of Tuna Tartar and the Arugula Beet Salad were fabulous, so full of mixed flavors, pleasing to all senses. For entrees my friend had the Blackened Shrimp ABLT salad, so decadent, so rich in flavors and content. I had the leftovers the next day, it was still fabulous. I had the Lamb Bolognese. A creamy thick bolognese but not heavy...if that makes any sense. For dessert the pineapple upside cake ala mode to die for! Great choice. My frequent visits in the area are Rosalie's and Estia. And now put White Dog back on that list. It's time to become a regular again in that rotation.

This was my second visit, and it definitely lived up to the first. On my first stop, I had the ham and Swiss panini with a cookie butter latte. The sandwich was grilled perfectly, crispy on the outside, melty and satisfying inside, and the latte was absolutely delicious. I was honestly bummed to learn the cookie butter latte was seasonal because it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. This time around, I tried the breakfast panini and added ham, along with an iced sugar cookie latte (another seasonal drink that was so good). The food was pleasant and comforting, and once again, the drink really stole the show. Overall, Llamas Corner nails the combo of great atmosphere, thoughtful food, and creative drinks. I'll definitely be back... just crossing my fingers that some of those seasonal lattes become regulars.

There are two kiosks where you order. I got the french toast matcha latte which was ready quickly. The matcha wasn't the best quality or wasn't prepared properly, imo. It tasted very soapy and the french toast flavor wasn't very noticeable. I've definitely had much better matcha in Baltimore and wouldn't recommend Llamas' if you're particular about your matcha. Maybe their coffee is better? I also noticed a section on the menu labeled "gluten free" but the only option listed was a bag of chips. Would be nice to see some other offerings for GF folks.

The coffee selection was decent for a cat cafe with a big selection of flavor syrups to add to your drink. The little gift shop was fairly priced and had a lot of unique things. I loved the little black cat mascot, as we have a few furry voids at home. There was about 16 cats in the room when we went on a Saturday afternoon. You can tell they are well taken care of and that the staff cleans very frequently in there. With the 3 of us and the other family we had enough room that we didn't feel jammed in. There was one orange cutie that kept trying to knock my Niece's drink off the windowsill, and a precious long haired grey cat that claimed my husband's lap for the last half of the hour. We were given wet treat tubes to feed them which all the cats went nuts for and there were plenty of feather wands and toys for us to interact with the ones who wanted to play. The coal theme plays in perfectly to the area and the wagon appears to be the hang out area for the cats. It was a fun experience we plan to do again soon. It's a great cause (socializing and getting cats adopted) and the owner is obviously passionate about the mission.

Their goal is to find homes for these adorable felines and so far have placed 24 cats into forever homes in just three months. As Ron mentioned, you don't do this kind of business to get rich. I think it's more of a vocation. There is coffee and packaged treats available for sale. Not only that but a selection of T shirts, and fun toys for your favorite feline. The real stars here are the wonderful cats. I personally love how the owners tied in the Coal Region history into this modern forward thinking (in all the right ways) business. You will sign a waiver to enter (customary) the cat area. It is themed with all things Coal, like a mine decoration, pick axe and even a "coal wagon" delivery wagon (the cats seem to love it). We stopped by in passing but you may reserve time online. The number of people permitted is six maximum. The only other such cafe I knew of was in Philadelphia. I believe thanks to Covid and lockdowns that went under. The owners are enthusiastic about helping animals and customers visiting. Please support this incredible business and bring your little ones and friends to enjoy these sweet creatures. I did not get pictures of the entrance room but it is organized and colorful.

This is one of the most laid back and peaceful spaces I've been to. You pay a nominal fee to visit a room full of free roaming cats, all of which are adoptable. The money paid helps to support the care and upkeep of the animals, preventing euthanasia in local shelters. I highly recommend the tiramisu latte which is rich and delicious! There are some snacks light fare such as quiche slices, pastries, etc. to enjoy. Some think the price is too high but I believe it's certainly worth it to support such a great cause. The facility is extremely clean and well kept and service is always prompt and efficient. There are additional items for sale such as pet-friendly house plants, prepackaged coffee from local coffee farmers, pet toys, hoodies, T-shirts, tote bags, note cards, etc. All these items help to sustain the mission of the business.
