my dog was still wet when i got her.. & her nails didn't even get smoothed. they were very sharp. the groomer told me their nail buffer died & to just walk her & the road will soften them. they also didn't brush her teeth.. i did get a super cute outfit for her though. it's a small business so please don't let this review be the reason you don't try it out, i just personally will not be back. read more

They always do a great job with my Yorkie, their prices are more than fair. I have been taking him there for about 8 years now and originally chose them because a friend who runs a rescue recommended them to me. After calling 5 other groomers, at the time, they came in about $50+ cheaper than everywhere else. Everyone is always very friendly, they offer quick service, no hidden extra charges (even when they discovered my pup had fleas), they always communicate with me and treat my dog like one of their own. Three years after discovering the plethora of doggie desserts that Daisy's offers I finally had occasion to use their grooming services. I recently tried Perfect Paws Groomers on Chester Pike - which was totally fine - but my dog smelled too strongly of flowers for too long after bringing her home. I thought that this time I'd try a different business to see what their services were like. Today my senior lady had an appointment at Daisy's. Not only was it $10 cheaper, but they did her nails, ears, and sent her home with a bandana! We didn't get that treatment at Perfect Paws, so I was very pleased. The smell of the shampoo that Daisy's used was much less fragrant, which I like. I'll definitely be returning to Daisy's! Let me start by saying this is the friendliest group of women. The set up is so cute... it looks like a dollhouse. All of the workers take such pride in their work and it shows. I've been taking our Lhasa-poo Charlie here since he was a pup (about 3yrs) and I've referred a few ppl and they've all been just as pleased as I am. Charlie has extreme anxiety but is right at home at Daisy's. There are times when I've been poor with his grooming and he's arrived a matted mess but they ALWAYS return him looking like new w/o any nicks or cuts. When I picked up my 2 doodles, my husband and I both said, what was wrong dogs we not acting normal. And was told nothing. They have been there several times, but this time something happened. As the last time they were there one groomer said the one dog bark is annoying. I even asked are they welcome back and was told yes. So this time something happened to both of them. We picked up some fresh made dog treats for our puppy's birthday from Daisy's. they were very affordable, $1 for a large bonbon and $5 for a 6" Happy birthday cookie. Our dog loved them! You can also order cakes, but you must order a day in advance. They also carry an extensive line of food products without fillers, etc. which helped us narrow down what brands we should look at. We did end up purchasing from them because it was the same price as online, so we're happy to support a local business. We'll definitely try out their grooming services, their prices seem very reasonable and the staff are quite friendly! read more

My wife convinced me to try Daisy's even after the slip-up I mentioned in the previous review. My dog, Pepper, came out looking great. Since the initial visit, I believe I have visited at least 2 more times, each with an excellent result. The last time I took my dog there, she got a nice shave them virtually eliminated all the itching and scratching she did daily. It's hard to find a good competent Cat groomer, in Delaware county. Ive had long haired cats for 20 years. We have a Doll faced Persian with extremely long hair. Cubby has been to five different groomers in the area ( he is a Gentle cat ) and we never seemed to get a quality job. Our Cubby has been to Daisy's Delights four times now, and by far it has been the best experience for us, and for Cubby. Today we dropped him off and had Laura groom him. Usually it takes a few days for his lion cut to look good. Today ( 2/8/2019 ) when we got him home and had a good look at him, he looked fantastic, right out of the Carrier. Laura and Gina, and the women there at Daisy's Delights are phenomenal groomers and genuinely nice and friendly. If you feel your cat or dog has not been treated the way you expect, give Daisy's Delights a call. And BTW I am a retired disabled Veteran and they respect my service and give me a Military discount. I have been known to shop around for a groomer. If you don't treat my dog as well as I do, I don't want to leave him in your care for 3 hours. Daisy's met my high expectations which says a lot because I think we have tried almost every other place in the area. My Yorkshire terrier walked out with one of his best cuts, prices were on the lower end of what we have paid in the past and he was able to hang out with other dogs instead of sitting in a cage. I will definitely be back and would recommend to any one else who loves their dog like a family member. read more

I love Daisy's Delights. I think I should give them 5 stars, but I've been bringing my 2 dogs here for a couple of years now, and with the exception of just one time when the owner wasn't there, I had a minor problem, but it was understandable. I won't go into it. But, yes, they do cat rescue, even had a little cat room inside the front door built. They let some cats wander around, and people fall in love and adopt them. How great is that! I've never smelled off odors - they keep it as clean as possible. But I think they try to please everyone and it gets chaotic sometimes. What I love so much about Daisy's is that when I brought home a little dog from the SPCA to foster, that was so horribly overgrown and matted, that the workers at the SPCA told me it was a girl. (They didn't see his little weenie.) So I called Gina, the owner and asked her to let me bring him over right away before I brought him into my home. She said no problem, and after gasping at the shape he was in, proceeded to wash and cut/shave him and all his matts. It took her over 4 hours - wow! And she even gave me a discounted price off her reg. fee. OK. I should give Daisy's 5 stars. I just googled up her phone number, because my 2 pooches are in need of a cut, and yelp showed up, and I saw that Daisy's got a nasty review. I don't know the circumstances, but I just had to write a review of my own great experience(s). I recommend Daisy's! P.S. Re: That little foster dog I finally "had" to keep because he was so skinny and had cherry eyes - a very very odd (ugly) looking dog - I couldn't get him adopted out, and so kept him. Today, 1-1/2 yrs. later, he's a gorgeous little comedian. Louie Louie has brought so much fun and love. by the way, he works with me at the Copy Shop Plus in Folsom with his sister Lucy The Cockapoo. I brought my (sometimes very difficult) cava tzu here. The experience was nothing but pleasant. The shop is small and felt welcoming.. We were able to be seen at a time that accommodated my work schedule and I appreciated that. I got there a little early to pick him up and found out he had been a little harder than anticipated to work with (this was his first grooming ever). Just waited over 15 min in heat with frightened dog waiting for them to open or answer phone. this was at 11, sign says open at 10!!!. ALso, they left me on hold for 15 min. when I was trying to make the appt. I should have known then. Had the guts to call me at 11:25 to see if I was going to keep appt.. I have been a customer since they opened their first store . Watching them grow and improve their services has been a lot of fun. Gina and Laura have helped me with finding a premium dog food to feed my allergy ridden dog. They are wonderful with all the animals that are groomed at their shop. The store is a pleasant place to visit to pet the rescue cats up for adoption. The Halloween Pet Parade is always a great fundraiser for animals in need and always enjoyable for us. read more

AWFUL!!! Completely butchered my one dog (who shouldn't have been shaved) and didn't trim any of my other dog's fur at all (backside and tail needed to be trimmed it wasn't touched where the other dog was bare). DO NOT USE!!!!! It was packed full of dogs and had a ton of cats running around, the place stuck of litter box. Can't stress enough how bad our experience was!!We had taken our dogs there in the past and it was not bad it it seems they have taken on too much and do not have a proper understanding of different breeds. read more

My dog has been seen there for the past two years and today they told me my ten pound llasapoo has been difficult every time but never told me because they wanted to spare my feelings. I have been going to Daisy's to get my dog's nails cut for the past few years now. I had tried other places that stressed my lil girl out because she DOES NOT like her feet touched. Other places TORTURED my dog. I understand having to restrain an animal at times but come on- she's 4lbs! My dog has never bitten anyone and the staff at Daisy's consistently has taken the time to get Abby calm and in a comfortable place so that her nail cutting experience is a good one. i could not be happier with the service i get at daisy's. i'd much rather patronize a small owner operated business rather then some big box store where for the most part the employees just barley know how to work a cash regester. i will always trust gina with my family member when boarding her, she love to go and truth be told.....sometimes she doesn't want to leave. i love this place and so will you. oh and to this person sandy m that posted just before me...... what hte heck do you expect a pet store to smell like. you're probabably the type to complain about what a body shop smell like also. read more

I have tried a number of other groomers but Daisy's is consistently the best. My terrier is very feisty and uncooperative and once she (very slightly) nicked him. I am certain it was his fault. She pointed out his little red mark and made me aware of it. I do not know any other groomer that does that. read more
