Great coffee / iced tea and ambience. Parking in the area isn't too bad either! Staff was friendly and they were so packed, the line was practically out the door! Amazing coffee and vibes. They were pretty crowded when I popped in on a random weekday at 11, and I can absolutely see why. The decor is charming and thoughtful and the airplane seats are such a fun touch. Drink selection is massive and way above and beyond the classics. The iced mint eastwood was really tasty and so photogenic. Pro-tip is to take the photo before you swirl it up! Cute!!! As a lover of a cozy, cool cafe (or really just a great cafe in general) I was smitten the second I walked in. It's not only covered in paper planes along the walls, but once you walk to the back, they have airplane style seating (along with some traditional tables). As cute as it is, it makes it super ideal for parties of 1 or 2, otherwise I don't know if you'd find a table insdie. It was 11sh on a Friday, and the place was buzzing with folks on computers, readers, etc. - always the sign of a good coffee shop. I was warned beforehand by someone that loves this cafe and goes very often that the menu is kooky in the best way. As a chronic oat latte girlie, I couldn't resist one of their creations from the "science" portion of the menu and got the Butterbroo hot. The barista was super kind and, when I questioned how sweet it was, let me know it's pretty sweet but she can adjust that however much I'd like. A few minutes later, I was sipping on a delicious, hot, not too sweet, latte. If you are someone that doesn't need the craziest drink, but want to try something new, the Butterbroo was a good one! I was meeting a friend and managed to we snag some of the stools at the window and got to working (chatting). Coffee was great, vibes were perfect. I also tried the culto di brownie and it was absolutely delicious! I loved how clean the ingredients were. Service was ok. I finally made it to the Paper Plane Cafe and it was enjoyable....and unique. The cafe has a very cool section, where customers could sit as if they were sitting on a plane. Of course, these seats are always occupied, but if you're patient, you'll have your chance to enjoy it and take your Instagram pics. I ordered a Mocha Latte and it was very good. I enjoy when coffee doesn't need to cool down for an hour and this one was perfect. I also enjoyed the hint of cinnamon, as well. I also spoke to the owner. He mentioned how the cafe will be expanding and showed me the upcoming new area. I look forward to returning and enjoying the new space. If you're a gamer, the cafe also has a Super Nintendo station to help with your relaxation time. I commend the Paper Plane Coffee Co. for their ingenuity with the theme of this cafe and is highly recommended. read more

This is the cutest cafe with the most amazing airplane-inspired seating concept!! I ordered their hot YuenYueng (oolong tea, cold brew, and sweetened condensed milk). I really tasted every ingredient and was pleasantly surprised with how well they tasted together. I was torn between a few things on their menu though because everything they offer sounds delicious! Service was really quick but friendly. Parking was easy because I went on a Sunday afternoon, but I'd imagine it may be difficult to find street parking here depending on when you go. read more

Their beans are pretty strong in a good way- I got their half decaf iced Mayan latte and I am feeling the effects hours later! Strong and slightly on the sweeter side but still a great cup. Interior is modern and airplane themed on one side. They have an array of drinks to choose from - teas to pour overs to lattes and the classic drinks. Menu is a great read- they have descriptions of their beans. Service was good, the baristas had friendlier smiles although harried. A steady stream of customers is always a good sign! I've seen videos of this place on social media so I decided to finally check it out. It has a very cute theme and it simulates the feeling of being at an airport. I got an ice latte and an almond croissant. The ice latte was good and I loved how big my croissant was. The menu also had a lot of cool non caffeinated drinks available which i thought was cool. I came to get some work done since I heard they had free wifi and plenty of wifi. The space is kind of small. It gives me the impression that its more take out rather than dine in. I sat at the area with the faux windows seats and airplane like seats. The seats were comfortable but the table is kind of tiny so you can't have too many items. Plus there are only 6 of those seats and 3 regular tables with regular chairs so once those are taken, there isn't anywhere else to sit so keep that in mind. There is a unisex restroom with really nice decor. They had a painting in there that I loved (see photo). There is only street metered parking so be aware of that. read more

They expanded their shop and it was still full of people enjoying some creative & tasty coffees. They do pour overs presented beautifully if you enjoy it there in which case you don't need to use a disposable cup. And if you're lucky enough to have the owner taking your order, she can help you move beyond the usual coffees to some of their especially interesting ones after asking a few pointed questions. Since I was a chocolate lover she recommended the Mayan for me. She also helped our other guest pick the best pour over for her. And the Matcha latte was very rich we could add more filtered hot water on hand to freshen it up. (Appreciate the filtered cold water too.) Even my my latte design lasted till the bottom of the cup; i'll post the midway photo Everything has a feeling of being lovingly and generously made with a women owned touch. Came in for an iced matcha latte with almond milk which I was excited for given all the great reviews on this place! However, it was pretty milky and I really couldn't taste the matcha. Seems like they are more known for their coffee than their matcha. Baristas were slow and chit chatting the whole time so waited awhile for the matcha. I visited this place on a local friend's recommendation the week before Halloween (see the seasonal decor out front!). It was very busy with about a 10 min wait to order and then another 10-15 min to get drinks, but the interior is quirky and pleasing and I was talking with my friends so I didn't mind the wait. I got an iced sparkling apple cider espresso thing, which was delicious and refreshing. Their drink menu changes regularly and is delightfully inventive! They offer basic pastries from a local bakery which they will warm up for you. As a barista of 10 years, I respect their commitment to making things correctly and educating their staff and customer base. Only thing was that's the place is off the main strip and takes a while to get to (especially if you are walking). There is no parking nearby. Parking actually seems to be a challenge. Their menu was a bit confusing to me as they don't have "standard" drinks or syrups but offer many seasonal or monthly drink specials. The Iced Mayan Latte was creamy, lightly spiced from the Mexican chocolate, and the espresso was quite bright. There's a lot of "science" behind their drinks unlike a typical coffee shop which I can appreciate and they roast all of their speciality coffee in-house! I've been coming here for years, and today was frustrating. The young lady making my drink for a 16-ounce cup filled it with so much ice that it was impossible to even close the lid. I politely asked for a little less ice, and I was told that it's considered "extra." At a charge. They then decided to waive the fee, which just makes the policy even stranger. The amount of ice they use is almost comical. Overall, a really odd and disappointing experience for a place I've been loyal to for so long. Coffee is great this experience not so much. read more

First, the interior was SO cute.
