I love the rustic, cozy vibes of this cafe. I came in w/ a friend on a rainy Monday evening, and it was so relaxing just sitting by the window, while chatting and people-watching. I ordered one of the coffee drinks from the fall specials list (it was apple-flavored), and I didn't really like it. But I typically don't enjoy apple-flavored coffee, so don't think it has anything to do w/ the way it was made here. I would come here again to try more! read more

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my drink. The barista was kind, service was not an issue. I tried one of the specialty drinks and was underwhelmed. They use cold brew concentrate not espresso in the iced lattes and you taste the difference. I also prefer house made syrups, that definitely elevates any drink. I do think for a latte made with concentrate and Monin syrup the price was pretty steep. read more

good spot for some lattes and at a nice location in Montclair too. We had some spare time before our dinner reservation and decided to stop by for some coffee. We ordered iced and hot lattes and I love that they were able to accommodate my half hazelnut and half vanilla flavored latte. It was delicious! There is good enough seating inside but a lot of the customers (on the day we went) brought laptops so they may tend to take their time there - just an fyi. There is an option to sit outdoors as well especially when the weather is nice. And lastly, as a new mom, I also appreciate the restroom having a changing table! lol Close to the parking garage too. nice! read more

Delicious. Loved my iced coffee. I had them add rose flavoring to it. I love that they have the milk and creamers on the side for you to add it in yourself because I tend to be particular on how much oat goes in my coffee. Will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Verrrrry good coffee spot! I enjoyed my coffee very much and I loooooved my breakfast sandwich. It's super convenient for the train, and I noticed they offered commuter deals, which I think is so kind. I ordered a large matcha oat milk latte, and I really enjoyed it. It didn't need any sweeteners. It was delicious, and I enjoyed taking advantage of the outdoor seating. The birds loved stopping by which adds to the ambiance of the coffee shop. There really are no bad seats. Just like my experience the other week, my latte came quickly. I had to knock my review down by one star only because I got the iced latte with a top and a straw, and there must have been something wrong with the cup or maybe it was filled a little too high, or maybe there was coffee on the lid because it leaked a lot and got my sweatshirt and jacket wet messy looking. I was happy about the nice weather because I had to take off those layers. I love this coffee shop. Maybe I'll just stick to hot coffee or matcha next time. I'm used to matcha lattes being mostly milk and too sweet; this latte was perfectly balanced and I really tasted the matcha. I love the Java Love on Bellevue, gave that location a 5 star review a long time ago, but unfortunately this location has to get a low rating because every time I've gone there there's a male employee working the register that is just sooo rude and acts like you're the biggest inconvenience in the world for coming in to purchase coffee. I haven't gone here in at least 8 months because of this employee and don't plan to go back, the vibes are extremely negative. Love their coffees though, just go to a different location! I'm usually not that picky with my beverages but this one was watery and bitter. It didn't help that the wifi didn't work and the tables were wobbly. Love this local coffee/tea shop in Montclair. Everything on their menu is organic and originated within a 50 mile radius. That is amazing and not something you hear every day! My husband and I specially came here when we were back in town visiting because we were looking for a place that carried our absolute favorite local chai tea latte, from Yogic Chai. We were not disappointed, we'd definitely go out of our way to stop in just for this chai. The cafe is very cozy, with high ceilings and a lot wood accents. They have done a good job fitting in as much seating as possible, although I'm sure it fills up quickly during peak hours. It wasn't too crowded when we stopped in at 4:30pm on a Saturday, and they turned around our orders super quickly. I also noticed they sell some food like sandwiches, and are vegan/vegetarian friendly! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come in here again to hang out. read more

We stopped here after picking up pastries from across the street. We got a maple latte (first time trying) and it was great. The coffee shop itself is very quiet and has a decent amount of seating. There were a few people working at the tables. They have a few pastries and other snacks and merchandise they sell there as well. read more

The place is small but with a lot of personality, from the menu to the staff. The young lady with the long hair and pink tips, thank you for taking your time by informing us of the delays! I really LOVED my chai latte. It is extremely hard to find a chai latte that isn't straight up syrup. This one was perfect, great amount of spice, not too sweet (best part) and just really tasty. Came here after doing a good deed interestingly. Along with that was the recommendation to try the coffee here. I'm all for the small business competition going head to head with mainstream establishments, in this case Starbucks nearby so this helped. I just got a dark roast coffee to keep it simple. It was very strong, not that I usually prefer this, but it delivered on what it's label. I had some hot chocolate which also delivered on its name. The prices are fair and its a nice little coffee shop much like you'd expect with varying seat arrangements for just a few friends or groups and the staff were friendly as well. There were some cakes and other naked goods there that looked good so while it might not have everything the big name places have, this little coffee spot has its charm and did the trick on a chilly day. read more
