One of favorite spots to visit while I'm in Montclair! Every time I go there is a line out the door and it is WORTH the wait. I'm a loyal customer to so many amazing establishments that don't have to boast their same awards and accolades but go above and beyond to satisfy a customer. The service here was great really friendly staff took the time to explain menu items to us. The Ube Latte was really good I think i'd get double espresso next time because it didn't taste much like coffee to me, but that would bring the drink to $9 so it is a little pricey. The almond croissant was giant and really good but it is very sweet so make sure you're in the mood for sweet when you order it. The voodoo iced coffee was also good a little strong on the spiced syrup so maybe ask for light syrup if you're not into strong spices in your coffee. Love the cafe theme and the menu options! Came here around 8am on a Tuesday. The place was busy but there were still a few open tables. I got a "window seat" and was able to spend the morning working with my laptop. There are a wide selection of drinks and I tried the Milo-presso. This is seriously the cutest coffee shop ever. As someone that loves to fly, I love the airplane vibes here. I love trying out the coffees under the Science section, everything has always been delicious and prices are very reasonable. They have decent amount of seating inside and outside but sometimes it has been hard to find seating - its been super busy every time I've went. My friend turned me on to Paper Plane's beans which I purchased a couple of times for pour-over. It's very good coffee, but I particularly enjoy their speciality coffee drinks. I tried the butter broo which is Harry Potter butterbeer inspired. It's delicious and spiced perfectly for fall. My favorites are the Mint Eastwood (peppermint milk, chocolate-cinnamon espresso) and iced Milo-presso (Milo malt chocolate, brown sugar, milk, espresso). You can taste the mint and chocolate and cinnamon all in the Mint Eastwood. It's delicious and tastes like dessert. The Milo-presso tastes like chocolate milk but in the most delicious way. The malt is subtle and good for folks who don't know whether they're into that savoriness or not. Vibes are obviously great and interior is lovely, but there's rarely a good seat. read more

Horrible matcha quality and even more horrible baristas. The place is super cool and their coffee is fine enough. But I ordered a matcha that was basically all milk. When I went back up to tell the it was too much milk and I wanted more matcha they all gave me a hard time. The baristas were insisting that it's a 4g amount. It definitely wasn't as I watched her make it. They offered to remake it but I didn't want them to waste their drink they made so I just requested more matcha. They then charged me an extra $2 for the matcha and it was gritty and burnt. Never get their matcha and just know their staff is rude. read more

I pass this coffee spot weekly - the girl I sit for attends French class down the block. After passing it for half a year, I finally decided to stop in. Not only is this place extremely well decorated inside (has plane seating), their coffee was fantastic. I ordered a decaf iced latte with almond milk and vanilla. Delicious!! They also have a restroom on site. They also have arcade games like street fighter and mortal combat! Barista says "people order less ice thinking they will get more coffee but we cap it as if there was full ice and cup won't be all the way full, just so you know". Upon entry, I was met with a reasonably long line that actually went out the door the moment I entered. Though the line was long, it went by quick as I was met with friendly and knowledgable staff. I asked for a sweeter drink to which I was recommended the Nam-Dam. I had it iced and it was good but it left a weird bitter after taste. I also ordered the almond croissant which was absolutely delicious. It is no secret that many people come here for the aesthetically pleasing ambiance. I sad for over an hour reading my book and it was a family friendly ambiance with very hipster vibes. If you're looking to read in silence this is not the space because of the vast amount of visitors this place gets as well.
