The Pizza Party Pizza (Vegetarian) 8.22.2025 - So good!!!
Jeannette L.

The Pizza Party Pizza is a great deal! An assortment of slices to share. There's also a vegetarian option, which has been our go-to order as of late. Try it out!

Texture and taste were great on the Gluten Free Bagel.Again, egg, meat n cheese were double- I saved the other 1/2 to put on another bagel!

Recently diagnosed celiac and this was the first gluten free bagel that I ate and enjoyed! I was able to get a sausage egg and cheese (sausage in place of the pork roll), a few extra bagels to make sandwiches at home, AND it was all packaged separately from the non gluten items and clearly marked. I'm looking forward to eating my other bagels and so far so good with no reactions!!!!!! Thank you for not only having gluten free, but the extra steps for the Celiacs who can enjoy a reasonably good bagel - reasonably ONLY because I wish I could just eat a regular bagel. These GF are are a great alternative!!!! ****Note sandwich was bigger... served open, which was great- so I saved one side: egg sausage n cheese to put on another bagel!!!

I'm devastated it took me this long to try but it's tricky if you're far away since it's takeout or delivery ONLY! But well worth the hour hike for me - I mean if you're in Essex county and haven't tried the food here yet, you are missing out! The menu it's insanely wide with various options and doubted being able to do so many different cuisines soo well but I was proven wrong real quick. Asian, Mexican, Italian, pizza, wings, burgers - unbelievable! Idc what you have to do to make it happen but highly recommend a visit - jealous of everyone in north jersey (in the delivery vicinity) who can take advantage of this chefs creations. I'd be 400lbs - took FULL advantage of my trip and tried a little be of everything.

Chicken Parm Sandwich !!!! First want to say that I was at first intimidated to try BXJ since they have a different concept than anything I've ever experienced. Tried the bagels first. Figured out the Toast app, it was sooooo super easy. Tried their pizza a couple weeks later. Delicious (a touch greasy , but nothing a couple of napkins couldn't fix) But the other day tried the Chicken Parm Sandwich. Omg. Definitely the best in the area by far. Homemade bread, tons of chicken delicious sauce and quality cheese. Picture doesn't do it justice. But highly recommend !!!

Off quality alone, it's among the best breakfast sandwich and bagels I've ever had. I love that everything is homemade and the diversity of the menu. I like the curbside service and how efficient it is. My only issue is the price. $18 (after taxes) for a chicken sandwich (albeit an elite one) is a bit steep and makes it tough to keep coming back. It's a great place if you can afford to splurge though.

The countersuit

I have had mixed feeling about their bagels, but I have become obsessed with their countersuit bagel. Its a chicken breast fried with lettuce slice really thin in some sort of honey mustard sauce. Amazing! I have had a few others like the lawsuit, Korean chicken box, and the tex-mex rolls but always end up going back to my fave. My son always get the bacon, egg and cheese bagel that looks like a baked ball. Really awesome too. Prices are pretty high for a chicken sandwich, but the quality is there so it makes me feel like I am getting my monies worth. One thing I would like to add is that the everything bagel lacks the "everything taste". It almost like a plain bagel dressed pretty, but everything else is pretty good.

Small, fried donut "bagel" from BBJ compared to a real, award winning bagel from Bagelwich in Verona.

I don't know where to begin. The fact that you cannot see inside the shop or walk in is odd. Had to order from the parking lot over the phone, so I didn't have visibility to what I was was actually paying for. Ordered a GF bagel... To say I was disappointed is an understatement. It's nothing close to a bagel. I gave them a poor review on Google and the owner's response was unprofessional and unproductive (see accompanying picture). He then deleted it, LOL. They are in the news now for violating town ordinance by covering up their windows. Karma sucks.

More expensive than a regular breakfast sandwich but worth every penny! It won't disappoint.

They come to your car with a chewy bagel chock full of egg, cheese, and chopped bacon. Not good for your cholesterol, but good for the soul.

Ask the Community - Bagels by Jarrett

Are they open today?

Grand opening is 2/29

Hi. How is it even possible that there are so many reviews and business hasn't been opened yet?!

Because he's done a bunch of pop up shops over the last year.

It's always so busy whenever I drive past that I chicken out braving the private parking lot in the back and the ordering queue inside. But today, I learned that it's all worth it because, true to their reputation, they have very good bagels here! Plus, the people working there are nice! I give a 5 star just for my everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, onion, and tomato. It had all the right proportions of spread and toppings for a very good lox bagel sandwich. My hubs bagel was a cinnamon raison with butter. Their bagels are fluffy and chewy, so I would opt to keep it untoasted (my preference). While there's Starbucks nearby in the same building, next time I'll try the coffee from Bagel Nosh. They also had an assortment of Tropicana orange and fruit juices. The coffee dispensers and drink cold case are to the right when you enter. New Visitor Note: When you enter, head to the right to place orders. When it's packed inside, like when I visited for the first time, it can be confusing. You may need to ask other customers where there the line begins.

This is my go to for bagels. Fresh, delicious and a big variety, something for everyone. Also,…read morerecently discovered their lunch salads -- huge and delicious. They grill a massive amount of yummy chicken on the salads featuring chicken, it last me 2 meals! For $14, you can't beat it. And, they have a nice variety of bakery goods, my go to's are individual portions of crumb cake and ruggelah. Coffee is decent as well, you fix it yourself while you wait for your order. And where can you get a delicious nova and bagel sandwich with lettuce tomato and onions for this price (you may, like me, want to ask for them to go light on the cream cheese, otherwise you will get too big a schmear and have to remove it yourself - I have been known to do it with my finger in the car). But it satisfies my need for a nova fix! I don't understand the comments about customer service. This is a small local place that does a brisk business at the times you would expect people to get bagels (mornings, weekends). They are no nonsense and efficient, what's wrong with that? They need to move the line to get you in and out so you can get on with your day. I don't go for socialization or to dilly dally at the counter ruminating over what to order. The parking lot in front is challenging, but that's not their fault. Pro-tip: Park on the side street and walk a couple more steps and you won't have to worry about someone sideswiping you.
