Almost $10 for very thin spread of tuna in a smaller than usual bagel. It was average :(

I haven't been here in a while and I feel like their prices went up and portions went down. Ordered tuna salad on a bagel and surprised it was almost $10. Picked up the bag and it was super light in weight, opened to find the thinnest layer of tuna I have ever seen from a deli or bagel place. Not worth $10. Unfortunately bagel Noah or Ike's while being similar in pricing feels like more value for the money

I was looking for a good bagel place in the area and decided to give Super Duper Bagels a try. I decided to order a breakfast sandwich. I got an egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel. Unfortunately there is no meat to be had on the sandwiches, which is disappointing. The other drawback to the sandwich was the price. It was $6.50 with no meat. That seems quite a bit high, considering I usually pay four to five dollars for a bacon egg and cheese. The sandwich itself was good. The cheese was nice and melted and the bagel was perfectly toasted, but not worth $6.50. I also ordered a couple of bagels to go. Those were priced reasonably at $1 each. They were decent as well, but I have had better.

Bagel with cream cheese, lox and purple onion.

Amazing bagels! Terrific portions and the food is phenomenal! Used them for my son's bar mitzvah and they did not dissappoint.

Good New York style bagels and completely kosher. No seating aside from a bench out front so it's best for getting something to go.

It's always so busy whenever I drive past that I chicken out braving the private parking lot in the back and the ordering queue inside. But today, I learned that it's all worth it because, true to their reputation, they have very good bagels here! Plus, the people working there are nice! I give a 5 star just for my everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, onion, and tomato. It had all the right proportions of spread and toppings for a very good lox bagel sandwich. My hubs bagel was a cinnamon raison with butter. Their bagels are fluffy and chewy, so I would opt to keep it untoasted (my preference). While there's Starbucks nearby in the same building, next time I'll try the coffee from Bagel Nosh. They also had an assortment of Tropicana orange and fruit juices. The coffee dispensers and drink cold case are to the right when you enter. New Visitor Note: When you enter, head to the right to place orders. When it's packed inside, like when I visited for the first time, it can be confusing. You may need to ask other customers where there the line begins.

The portion was super generous: a big, soft bagel with a thick layer of cream cheese that didn't skimp at all. That said, it didn't come out toasted like I requested, which was a bit disappointing, but not a dealbreaker since they were very busy. Everything else was solid! The staff were friendly and the overall experience was pleasant. Just a heads up, there's a 4% fee when paying by credit card.

This is a unique 5 star restaurant that is worthy of a visit by Guy Fieri if he is still doing road trips for "Diners , Drive Ins and Dives". All I can say is you have to try them. It's worth the drive! They put a different spin on everything they serve. When you walk in, you may think it's a local deli that you go for a take out breakfast or lunch. Then you see the tables and all the customers sitting there. They have everything you could want from coffee, teas, juices, smoothies, sandwiches paninis, poke bowls, pancakes, waffles, breakfast and lunch dishes. You can tell that they have a ton of regular customers, that are very loyal. They also do catering, and even though I live in Brooklyn, they are willing to deliver to me. Today I met some amazing people at the restaurant. Congratulations to Carlos who is a new manager. He is a US Army Veteran who saw combat action and I hope everyone will thank him for his service when they visit. Carlos really cares about his customers. When we entered we were greeted, he started up a conversation and checked in on us throughout our meal. Victor was our server and he made great recommendations. He was also very friendly, we also met Melvin who was a runner and made sure the food came out promptly with all the accoutrements. Today we started with the blueberry pancakes. You get two large pancakes that are as big as the dish. They had blueberries inside and outside, whipped cream and maple syrup. Probably the best I've ever had! I had the apple, lemon, ginger juice which hit the spot. We also had the tuna poke bowl and the shrimp fajita bowl. The ingredients and fish were fresh and plentiful. I was stuffed by the time we left. I would highly recommend Seymour's Cafe if you want to experience phenomenal food and customer service.

I went to Bagels by Jarrett tonight based on a recommendation from an Instagram influencer…read more I have to say, they have a weird setup. You can't go in the actual restaurant. If you ordered ahead of time, you park in front of the restaurant and wait in your car as a girl comes and gives you your order. Otherwise, you go into the restaurant next door, The Slice Shop, and order from a tablet. Odd. I wound up ordering The Cutlet Joe Triple Decker. It was a good sandwich, don't get me wrong, but it costs $22. That's kinda wild. It comes with a side of chips, pickles, and coleslaw. I also ordered a buffalo ranch slice from the slice shop, which cost $5. Also decent. I definitely appreciate the uniqueness of their menu, but I won't be returning for a long time due to the high prices.

Jarrett serves everything, and I mean everything -- bagels, pizza, cheesesteaks, subs...need gluten free? He's got that too The food speaks for itself...everything tastes fresh, perfectly textured, and is consistently excellent. But what really sets this place apart is the pride behind it. You don't get that rushed, transactional vibe here. You get someone who actually wants you to have a great experience, and it shows in every interaction and order. Customer service is second to none. Jarret is friendly, transparent, present, and genuinely invested in what he's doing. That's rare these days -- and it makes the whole place feel different in the best way. You feel not just satisfied, but impressed. Like you just found a spot you're going to keep going back to without even thinking about it.

Millburn has no shortage of delis, but Goldberg's Famous Deli is definitely at the top of the list…read more Goldberg's offers deli traditional favorites like fresh-baked bagels, lox, and sandwiches piled high with deli meats, as well as healthier options like salads when you want something lighter in an unapologetically casual ambiance. Goldberg's has been a local staple in Millburn since Tina and Marty Goldberg first opened the doors back in July 1977. The current owners took over in December 2022 and have done a fantastic job keeping the soulful and "old-school" Jewish-style deli spirit alive while making many subtle but meaningful improvements that today's diners expect and appreciate. However, it still has that authentic, "old-school deli" ambiance where you order at the counter then grab a table to wait for your meal and could end up with mismatched silverware. It's charmingly low-key and with a focus entirely on the food. The deli sandwiches are massive and the quality of the ingredients is consistently high. Unfortunately, that also means that the prices are somewhat higher than you might expect. A single deli sandwich served with a small bag of potato chips is in the $20-$22 range, which feels like a bit of a splurge for a casual lunch. That said.. You definitely won't leave hungry and the portion sizes encourage sharing or taking half of your dish home for a second meal. My dining companion and I split the West Orange sandwich, made with corned beef, turkey, russian dression, and cole slaw, on rye bread, which was excellent. We'll definitely be back. PRO TIP #1: Bring your wallet. I do feel obligated to point out that Goldberg's should be rated as a $$ / moderate price range (indicating $11 to $30 per person) rather than a $ / inexpensive price range (indicating under $10 per person). PRO TIP #2: While they don't have a private lot, there is plenty of on-street parking and municipal lots nearby. Use the mPay2Park app for the pay-by-plate meters ($0.50 per hour). Meters operate Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm; all street meters are free after 7 pm and all day Sunday. If the street is full, the Essex Street parking deck (24 Lackawanna Place) is a reliable backup.
