I love this local bagel store. I typically order an egg and cheese on whole wheat everything or whole wheat everything with scallion cream cheese. I love their blueberry muffins. I have ordered from here for a party we hosted and will do so again in the near future. They are always busy but the line moves quickly. The employees are so nice and friendly! I've had some mishaps with orders being fulfilled incorrectly or an omelet being undercooked but that's infrequent. read more

Local shop with a bagel that amounts to a large roll. We ordered a couple plain bagels to take home. The bagels had a soft crust with no crisp to speak of. Biting into it went straight to the dough, which was so fluffy that the bagel fell apart easily. The flavor of the bagel was very plain, lacking in salt or development during the rise. Bagel Nosh is part of a mini mall in Madison and I was pleased to see it has a decent parking lot outside. There are a lot of 15 minute parking spots, so it seems like the business owners want you to order and then exit as soon as possible! The store has a decent selection of bagels, and my food was provided to me quickly. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese and the presentation was fabulous. The honey mustard sauce was very good along with the lettuce and onion. My big complaint was the chicken was rubbery in some parts and I had to toss it. I stopped by this place to first order bagel. The bagels were good. The cream cheese was good. The butter was good. My only complaint was I ordered several everything bagels with cream cheese and one blueberry with butter for me. The entire blueberry bagel tasted like onions. The knife was never wiped down. Make sure you tell them to if you can't stand onions. On my second trip I ordered breakfast bagel sandwiches for my workers. The rolls were fresh. There were several layers of Taylor ham and the eggs were not greasy. We added a hash brown on the sandwich and it was not oily or falling off the roll. It was well encompassed in the roll. I recommend this place and I will be back. I had to deduct one star due to the blueberry incident. read more

I was excited to get home and dig in. I opened the bag and saw bagels as big as my face. This was a little concerning. I pulled out a giant everything bagel. It felt soft and fluffy. I split it open. The texture looked like soft ciabatta bread. I slathered some cream cheese on it and took a much anticipated bite. It was just okay. As continued to eat the bagel, it got more and more chewy. While some of my neighbors apparently enjoy this type of bagel, to me it is a fluffy roll with a hole in the middle. And this one tasted just "meh." Something was missing in the ingredients. The texture was way off for a proper bagel. The density wasn't there. This was one of the worst bagels I've ever had. Not going back. read more

Wanted to thank Bagel Nosh team for the amazing breakfast sandwiches and bagels for our Mothers Day Brunch, everyone loved it!

There were about five people in the deli, including myself. I understand this time can be busy phones were ringing off the hook. The woman assisting me asked what i would like. I told her half a dozen bagels. She began asking what kind I wanted. I told her two everything, one cinnamon raisin, one rainbow, one pumpernickel, and one blueberry. She put two everything in the bag and began walking to the back in conversation with another employee. She then proceeded to come back and ask again. Another woman asked if I wanted cream cheese and began making my tub. There were specialty bagels on the counter. I asked for one of those separately. She puts everything in the bag with the specialty bagel in its own box. She begins, ringing me up, charging me for half a dozen bagels, the cream cheese, and the specialty bagel. When I get to work, I pull out the bagels for my coworkers and there are only five bagels in the bag. I was charged for half a dozen bagels plus the specialty bagel yet only received five bagels. I can't understand how counting can be a mistake. I took everyone's order before hand and was left without breakfast. The deli was very clean and employees were super nice. I have been here before and do love their bagels. Their bagels are actually the only ones in town I like. Super fluffy and just perfect. I will try again next time and make sure to count before leaving the store. read more

My family and I have frequented this place a few times. Yet on the last 2 to 3 times we noticed that our same orders would come out to different prices. A bagel with cream cheese would be anywhere between 4-6 dollars. The owner even told my mom one time that he would lower the price because we go there so often.
