Buttered bag!
Trent C.

I used to love this place and always had great experiences with the staff--especially the girls who worked here before. Today completely changed that. The Hispanic guy who took my order answered seven phone calls while I was standing there, dragging out what should've been a quick stop. I ordered two cream cheese bagels and one buttered bagel just to get in and out, but instead it turned into a frustrating wait. On top of that, the buttered bagel was a complete mess, and I ended up with butter all over my car and clothes. The bagels are great, but this employee made the experience miserable. I'm really disappointed, and unfortunately I won't be coming back.

The term Nosh means to eat a snack or feed on something greedily and all I know is that Bagels here are good enough to not wanna share with anybody. Lol. So eat up but you better grab your own because my Bagels are for Noshing on by nobody but Me, lol. This place does serve up some very good Bagels that's a fact but they could do better in the customer service part of their business. I've already witnessed some crappy attitudes being displayed here. Listen it's not easy getting up early and having to deal with people I get that and it doesn't seem like my idea of fun either but can you try to be a little less cranky? Or maybe it could just be that like me, they don't have an easy time sharing their Bagels either. Lol Come And Get Your Munch!!

Blueberry Bagel

This was my first trip to Bagel Nosh and I decided to get a blueberry bagel to see what it was like. The bagel was of average size and portions of the sample were slightly crispy. I was surprised that it tasted more like a plain bagel and less like a flavored blueberry bagel. If you're looking for a blueberry taste, there are other places in the area that can likely meet your expectations. I always know it's a good bagel place when I wish I had a second bagel. I barely finished this one. The service was good and someone was there to help me as soon as I walked in. The cream cheese options looked really good and I'm hoping to try one of them the next time I stop in. Bagel Nosh is your average bagel store.

Everything bagel: has no color, barely any seasonings, and is very soft in texture (more like a roll)

Back again for round 2. This time I got a dozen bagels to bring home to try instead of the breakfast sandwich. Much happier with just the bagel, but still, they are nothing that special. Bagels had a nice bounce to them and good seasoning distribution. Flavor and texture were average. I would return if I'm in that strip mall for something else. Starbucks, bank, ShopRite are all near by for your errands.

The food is really good typical deli sandwiches and bagels. The staff is not friendly though. I felt uncomfortable and rushed.

I've never waited this long for a bagel at any New Jersey bagel store! 15+ minutes for a sandwich. The front was disorganized and crowded, with crowds of people waiting in front of the register for their orders and to pay which caused a lot of confusion. Many people waited to place their order unnecessarily because they thought there was a line. This would be very simply fixed by a designated pick-up area. I was also kind of grossed out by how many baskets of food items (croissants, mini bagels) were on top of the front counter in that crowd, with people coughing and breathing right onto them. My Taylor Ham, egg and cheese sandwich was perfectly fine, but not as good and chewy as a classic New Jersey bagel. You're definitely getting more of a fast food bagel here. They also forgot ketchup, even though it was written on my receipt, so that was a bummer.

Excellent service with a very friendly staff. Bagels were delicious. good breakfast and lunch options.

Mini sesame bagel with lite scallion cream cheese

I loved Bagel Nosh! I rarely get bagels anymore because a regular-size bagel is often too large for me, so I very much appreciated that they had a solid selection of mini-bagels. I also appreciated that they had lite cream cheeses, including a lite scallion cream cheese that tasted like regular cream cheese. My mini bagel was the perfect consistency--it was thick, airy, and doughy on the inside and had a crisped outside that wasn't too hard. The service was also great--the staff were attentive and they kept the line moving fast. I will definitely be back!

Truthfully, I cannot talk about the bagel since I went in for a crumb cake, but the crumb cake that I ate was quite delicious. This bagel store has an ample menu and a large variety of cream cheese spreads which is not often seen. The inside of the store reminds me of liberty bagels in New York City.

A true hidden gem that feels like it was made to be stumbled upon, which is kind of what happened…read more(saw a sign outside for potato donuts and was very intrigued!). Verrilli is a charming, hole in the wall bakery with a cozy interior. Although seating is limited inside, they will have a lot of outdoor seating when summer rolls around. There is a small parking lot out front, but may need to street park when it gets busy. The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming. Getting to the highlight: the potato donuts!! They also have other small desserts like cannoli, cookies, biscotti, and pizza, burgers, fries - all freshly homemade. Anyway, ordered the cinnamon sugar and butter glaze donut, (fresh and best enjoyed hot) and it was so light, fluffy, and not overly sweet!Looking to try their other donuts on the menu! Note: Owner mentioned this is BYOB! And can mix and match donut toppings!

This was a spot that served sandwiches, pizzas, and made to order donuts. The service was friendly…read moreand the food was ready in a timely fashion. Four of their donuts were ordered. They were of the potato variety. Since they were made to order, they came out piping hot. My thoughts on each are below. The temperature really made a difference as I tried a few bites after they cooled down and it was not the same. All of the donuts were appropriate in size and somehow appeared very light. I wonder if that was attributed to the potato variety. I just could not believe how much the hot temperature made a difference in all four. Original Cinnamon Sugar - This was very good with plenty of sugar present. Raspberry Jam - There was a ton of raspberry jam here and it was great. Nutella - There was an excessive amount of Nutella here and it worked out well with the hot donut texture. It was unreal. Cannoli - This was great too. I really liked the melted chocolate chips in the cannoli cream. Will I go back? Oh, easily.

The staff was friendly and patient when we decided on what to order. Five items were tried, and each will be described below. Black & White Cookie ($4.50) - This was a traditional sweet that was done right. There was a nice balance of the chocolate and vanilla flavoring while the cookie was not too soft or hard. Chocolate & Vanilla Pretzel ($5.50) - This was very interesting. It was not overly sweet and was large. It was just a different type of pretzel. It was a tad dry, but not bad. Pumpkin Donut ($3) - This had a nice texture, but the actual donut did not have enough sugar I thought. The pumpkin frosting was just right though. Cinabun ($5) - This was very solid. It looked like it was going to be filling, but it was lighter than imagined. The cream cheese frosting was too much for me, but it had a nice texture. Swiss Chalet Wrap ($13.99) - This came with fried eggplant, arugula, tomato bruschetta, and a balsamic dressing. This was my favorite item tried, no doubt. The wrap was filled and nicely made with a good balance of the ingredients. The eggplant was fried ideally too. It was a well put together wrap. The coleslaw that was provided was plain, but there was much provided anyway. Will I go back? I would.
