    Great warm spudnuts
    Michael D.

We stopped in a Saturday afternoon and after looking over the menu we went with 6 spudnut special. It was our first time here. We sat outdoors and waited for our order, they make them fresh and they come out hot. OMG they were so good. We will definitely return to support this business.

Stopped in with the hubby while driving through. Found Verrilli's on the map and wanted to stop in to get the full Jersey experience by getting a Taylor ham sandwich, fresh baked biscotti and a spudnut. We had a good time chatting with Christie while we were there. She's a super cool chick that made us feel at home. Sandwich was delish, she recommended one with sausage and potatoes in it. We had to try a spudnut so we split the cinnamon sugar one. It was very light, airy and delicious. Thank you Vertillis!

Christie is truly amazing. If I lived nearby, I'd be there everyday not only for the delicious food and baked goods, but for a family owned business that truly takes the time to make you feel at home. And it wasn't just me. We came back 3 times and heard other customers experiencing genuine chats about all things life. The spudnut donuts are truly the most amazing. Think like a thick style Krispy Kreme but so much better. And my kid says the Nutella one should be at the top of the list while all his teammates loved the original cinnamon sugar! We also came back for breakfast and they were able to accommodate food sensitivities. My kid said his bacon egg potatoes and cheese was better than anything we've had in NY! lol Lastly, for price and quality, this place is a winner for families. It's more of a hole in the wall than a place focusing on aesthetics. And there's a reason: it focuses on great food and great customer experience. We will always be back when in town!! Thank you for taking care of us the last couple of days!!

The donuts were sooo good! We got the oreo donut and the strawberry glazed donut and were blown away, they make them right on the spot when you order so they come out hot and fluffy. The person at the desk was so nice and told us about the flavors when we were not sure what to get. The place is small and has been here for a while but it's hidden so I hope it gets the hype it deserves!

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for spudnuts!!! I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome. Customer service and the delicious treats will keep me coming! Seems that I need to check out their savory items too. I got 4 specialty spudnuts and 1 classic cinnamon sugar for $19 - and they offer a discount for cash payments. The Oreo and Samoa spudnuts are very strong chocolate flavor. The butter glaze with raspberry drizzle and the original cinnamon sugar are my favorite! It's best with lighter flavors so you can really taste the dough. Cannoli doughnut is also so delicious, and covered with sugar. I think it would be even better if covered in powdered sugar.

Deez spudnuts are sooo good! And Verrilli's has such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Always a pleasure to stop in here for a treat. Look forward to trying some of the other menu items at some point!

My family and I really enjoyed the donuts/spudnut at Verrilli's, especially when eaten when warm! The donuts are made to order and lots of different choices to customize to your liking. My personal favorite was the cinnamon sugar, it was perfect and the donut was so soft. The owner was so incredibly kind, especially to my boys. Highly recommended for something different.

The hot homemade donuts, oh yeasss! The woman at the shop, Christine, was an awesome morning wake up call. Great sense of humor and personality. Oh, the donuts, pretty good stuff. Worth the walk. I had Boston crème and a traditional glazed. Ya wanna know, simple is better. The glaze was great. When in town, please stop by and enjoy.

The donuts were absolutely amazing, I tried both the Oreos and the strawberry glazed with sprinkles. These were truly the best donuts I've ever had, they were made after we placed the order so they come out fresh and hot every time. The service was also great, i didn't get the woman's name who was working but she was very friendly and helpful. As far as the ambiance goes it's tiny, only 3 tables or so, clean, and smells great.

Amazing service and a great family run business. Donuts are made fresh to order! They also sell pizza shells to go with sauce and cheese! Perfect spot with easy parking.

I try to give my mom a @BigDudesBigFoods kind of #MothersDayby finding a new place to get some baked goods every year. This year, instead of a new place, I found an old one @verrillispizzaandbakery in #MorristownNJ. Wow! Verrilli's has been there since 1898. This small family business serves breakfast , lunch and dinner but today I am here for their "Spudnuts" which are delicious made to order doughnuts . We happened to go when church was about to begin so trafficwas crazy . It was so worth it. The #Spudnuts were delicious. The staff was so friendly and familiar that I'm going to check my #AncestryDNA to see if our paths cross . I'm going to have to come back with Joe to try some more hearty stuff. . #Verrillis #BigDudesBigFoods #SupportSmallBusiness #BDBFCertified #BDBF HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM !!!

PROS: this place was a nice historic bakery that served more than just baked goods. They have salads, pizza, burgers, you name it. The staff is nice and they have reasonable prices. They also make it fast for you and have a parking lot CONS: there were no menus displayed anywhere except on the counter right near the register which prevents people from seeing it if there's a line OVERALL: I'll 100% come back here when I'm in the area. Their burger was great

Hands down one of the best spots in town. Without a doubt, they best breakfast sandwich in town. The Morristown special is bacon, egg, and cheese on their famous spudnut. It's everything you want in a breakfast, but the spudnut is crispy and fluffy at the same time and the touch of maple syrup just puts it over the top. Their spudnuts, which are made fresh to order by the way, are unique and personally I like them regular than regular donuts. The plain/ cinnamon sugar spudnuts are amazing, but their specialty ones like cannoli or tres leches are worth the trip alone. The people who run it are the most down to earth friendly people and you can tell really care about the community. They are just as much of the draw of coming here as the food itself. If you live in the area, you wouldn't be doing Morristown right by missing out.

The staff was friendly and patient when we decided on what to order. Five items were tried, and each will be described below. Black & White Cookie ($4.50) - This was a traditional sweet that was done right. There was a nice balance of the chocolate and vanilla flavoring while the cookie was not too soft or hard. Chocolate & Vanilla Pretzel ($5.50) - This was very interesting. It was not overly sweet and was large. It was just a different type of pretzel. It was a tad dry, but not bad. Pumpkin Donut ($3) - This had a nice texture, but the actual donut did not have enough sugar I thought. The pumpkin frosting was just right though. Cinabun ($5) - This was very solid. It looked like it was going to be filling, but it was lighter than imagined. The cream cheese frosting was too much for me, but it had a nice texture. Swiss Chalet Wrap ($13.99) - This came with fried eggplant, arugula, tomato bruschetta, and a balsamic dressing. This was my favorite item tried, no doubt. The wrap was filled and nicely made with a good balance of the ingredients. The eggplant was fried ideally too. It was a well put together wrap. The coleslaw that was provided was plain, but there was much provided anyway. Will I go back? I would.

Beenie's offers a wide variety of unique ice cream flavors including 3-4 seasonal flavors that are only available for a month at a time, but what really sets them apart from other ice cream shops is the variety of their dairy-free selections for customers with dietary restrictions. Most ice cream shops treat their dairy-free customers feel like an afterthought -- defaulting to one or two fruit-based sorbet or italian ice flavors. Beenie's offers dairy-free customers scoops of SIX dairy-free ice creams made with oat milk or coconut milk - Birthday Cake, Cookie Dough, Cookies & Cream, Fudge Pop, Mallomar, and Mint Chip - that are just as rich, creamy, and flavorful as the full-lactose varieties. My favorite is Birthday Cake with Cookies & Cream coming in a close second. The atmosphere is very casual with a friendly staff and a cozy indoor seating area with a campsite / outdoorsy theme including a faux campfire and a handful of picnic-style tables for you and your friends to enjoy your frozen treats. Tickets were around $30 which include a hayride, souvenir bag for apple picking, one pumpkin, access to the corn maze and more. We started with the hayride first it was so relaxing and the air was still cold and crispy. It led us right to the pumpkin area where we got to select one pumpkin then head over to explore the rest of the farm. Apple picking was nice but if you can't do mini hills, you may want to stay on even land. We walked as far as we could to pick apples then headed to the area where they weigh your bag and then you pay for them. There's also pumpkin slingshot that is an additional charge plus food vendors. A lot of the vendors only took cash so keep that in mind. Lastly, we stopped at the store and although it was crowded, we already knew we were there for apple cider and donuts. In addition to that, you'll find salads, sandwiches, pies, apples, candy corn, etc. Definitely get cold or hot cider to go plus a bag of donuts. They have tons of parking too and staff to direct you to an empty spot so no worries there. Just enjoy the day and have fun!!
