We ordered daily lattes, cold brews, and overnight oats throughout our weeklong stay at a nearby hotel. It was super easy and smooth to order online. I enjoyed EVERYTHING about Lokl Cafe. There are a good amount of seating areas, they have multiple easily accessible outlets, in order to charge your devices, and the entire cafe's decor is appealing and festive. It was also enjoyable watching a doggie drinking his water and behaving, under his owner's chair. The staff works very well and creates divine coffee. I appreciated the large mug, the quick service, and you could tell that Lokl is a staple within Morristown. I'll add to that mainstay, every time I'm in this area. read more

Stumbled upon Lokl coffee shop while walking around Morristown downtown, and the vibe and ambience was very inviting. I love the decor, very artsy ! We ordered a few sweet treats - chocolate chip cookie , cronut, banana pudding and baklava. I'd say everything was pretty good. The cappuccino was 3/5, i would have liked mine stronger. I was unimpressed. My mom's drip coffee tasted like water, and my own vanilla oatmilk latte had no flavor profile to it. It's like the beans were stale. It was quiet inside on the Saturday afternoon that I visited, so it's not a bad place to get some work done. Nut allergy folk: please be cautious of cross contamination risks here. I absolutely love Lokl, but a nut related allergic reaction to a food item that does have nuts listed in the ingredients (a breakfast sandwich) is not fun. Perhaps some items in the bakery case should be separated. read more

My wife loves cute cafes and while strolling in this area, she saw this, and the next thing I knew, I was ordering coffee and croissant for her. It was Christmas time and they decorated it very well. ofcourse getting a table is a challenge, especially in places like this. In the rear of the shop, comfy chairs and couches welcome guests. Traditional tables line the walls along the perimeter, along with outdoor seating on the sidewalk out front. My wife wanted to sit for some time and we got to the table after 10-15 minutes. We ordered a latte and spinach sandwich which was amazingly good. We were here for decor, coffee, and a good time. It was opened by two friends, one born in New Jersey and one born in Greece, who wanted to bring a European-style cafe to the US. I don't often get to Morristown and have time to explore, however, I arrived early enough for the performance at the Mayo Performing Arts Center that I broke my trend. A few steps away from Mayo I found this wonderful Cafe, LOKL CAFE. It's dinner time and I'm hungry but I don't want a sandwich that will fill me up. Instead I chose a Goat-cheese Quiche with Spinach and coffee. Perfect choice. Creamy, rich heavy bites rest on my tongue and fill my mouth with wonderful flavors. Warms my body from the mist rain falling at the moment. The coffee was the perfect combination. The gentleman at the counter brought my meal to my table. Most courteous and smiling made me feel welcomed. I love this desire. It's a small shop with plenty of tables supporting coffee drinkers with laptops and couples connecting at the end of the day for a light meal or cappuccino. I'm thrilled to have found the LOKL cafe in Morristown. I will return. I might have to try a few macaroons and another coffee before I leave. read more

Nice simple food. The bread could use some work. It's pretty cold and damp to the touch. A bit of heating would do a world of good. The ingredients are excellent, just the bread. Review reflective of NOT ordering coffee. I tried this cafe to catch up with an old friend. Upon walking in, the place was in a beautiful eclectic place with plenty of seating. The barista was extremely friendly and I did see another handing out free baked goods. Due to the fact that neither love coffee, my friend ordered their matcha latte and I ordered an iced chai. They were terrible. The matcha tasted like water. My chai, which I asked for "light ice", tasted like water with cinnamon. I would not recommend it. read more

This place has the best iced lattes. There's the delicious flavor of the coffee without bitterness or sourness that other coffee places try to mask with sugary syrups. I spotted this coffee shop as I was walking through Morristown around 9 AM Saturday morning. I was welcomed when I entered, and the staff were friendly. The decor seems nice as well. There's a large array of pastries with a couple different drinks as well. I found out that the for the croissants, in particular, that these were flown in and then baked. I'm not sure if this is the same case for the rest of the items. The prices are pretty average for a coffee shop. I ended up getting a cappuccino (dusted with some cinnamon) and an almond croissant. The cappuccino was warm. Not sure I'm a huge fan of it unfortunately. I noticed this weird layer of espresso around the milk foam. I was hoping that the almond croissant would have more frangipane; I barely tasted any. It was somewhat quiet when I first entered and pretty loud when I ended up leaving at the end. Not sure if this is particularly a good place if you want to work or study. read more

Such a cute coffee shop with plenty of bakery and food items. I ordered an iced americano and couldn't resist a double chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was huge and looked similar to a levain cookie but didn't taste the same. The cookie was more crunchy. I ended up heating the cookie in the microwave and it was much better! I stopped by this little cafe and got the Earl Grey blackberry scone -- it was delicious! There was a strong Earl Grey tea flavor, which I like, and with a little sweetness. The inside of the scone was soft but the outside had a nice crunchy crust. I did not have room for additional pastries, but would definitely like to try some of the other goodies in the display case in the future. Warning: Parking is very difficult in the area. That said, the music was too loud and the musical selection was reminiscent of a 2013 bar mitzvah. Also bonus points because they sell Chumami chili oil here, a locally made chili sauce which I haven't been able to find otherwise.
