I got a recommendation to try this place out, it's a smaller bagel shop in a strip mall. Inside is clean. There were three girls working the counter but it was pretty backed up behind the counter with all the orders. We had to wait about 5 minutes for a bagel with butter not toasted. When I opened the bagel in the car I was very disappointed on how little butter they put on it. It was obviously rushed. The bagel itself was good but super dry without butter. read more

So today I decided I wanted to go to the Baglery and I called them I was on the phone for over 5:00 minutes and I just think that it is ridiculous that it would take 5:00 minutes to place a order and just for one bagel and when we got to the parking lot still waiting we look inside and there is no one in here and I mean like 2 people. I was craving a chicken salad bagel sandwich. I stopped by and placed my order which was supposed to be a plain bagel with Chicken salad on it. To say the least I'm absolutely livid and disappointed. Simply get a plain bagel and add the chicken salad to it like a typical bagel sandwich. And to make things worse I'm Out 13 dollars and some change and I'm very hungry and now I have no choice but to find something else to eat. I order from The Bagelry pretty often, so it's time for an update! Initially I had only tried bagels but I've come to be a pretty big fan of their sandwiches. The sandwich list is huge and has all sorts of cold cut / chicken options. Sandwiches can be made on a bagel, in a wrap or on a roll. I'm pretty partial to a turkey wrap which comes stuffed with lots of meat and cheese. All sandwiches also come with a side of coleslaw and a pickle! Service is pretty speedy, and if you order at the counter you can expect to only wait a couple of minutes. My only complaint - the foil that they use to wrap the sandwiches sheds little teeny pieces of foil all over the sandwich. I just had to spend a few minutes picking out the foil, and I really hope I didn't eat any. They might want to consider changing up their packaging. The sandwiches are still great and I will continue to order when the sandwich (or bagel) craving hits. read more

I order from here enough times to wonder how I've never written a review before this. This is pretty much my go-to spot in the Morristown area. They have friendly and quick service and they make a good Taylor ham egg and cheese. I do wish they had maybe another slice of pork roll in there instead of just 2. Dining is no frills but clean. Their bagels also freeze well to be reheated later in a toaster oven. I'm torn with rating a 3/5 or 4/5 since I really wanted to like it. I was craving a breakfast sandwich and made my way over before starting my day. I initially ordered my sandwich with avocado added to which there is an upcharge. They later told me they didn't have avocado, so I substituted it with breakfast potatoes. Secondly, I had asked for the insides to be scooped out (not an unusual ask), and when I got my bagel, all of the insides were clearly still there. I can say the remaining ingredients - turkey bacon, egg, and cheese - were fresh, tasty, and delicious. I would've have preferred the avocado and given that they have breakfast potatoes (not hash browns), I wouldn't get it next time. The Vanilla Latte is steeply priced for a regular drink. It didn't have good flavor; I would stick to a regular coffee/tea or bottled drink. I did love the cup design and message! The Bagelry is definitely one of my all-time favorite bagel places, up there with Goldberg's in Glen Rock. Really good texture, thickness, and the perfect amount of cream cheese (I know this is totally subjective) every single time. I also really like their cream cheese selection as they tend to have a couple of unique ones, like cheddar jalapeño. The only "negative" thing I would say is that the wait can be long, even if you're not getting anything fancy or toasted and just want one bagel with cream cheese. It's never been a quick in-and-out experience there, at least, for me. But that won't stop me from giving five stars for all of the great stuff they bring to the table! read more

I came to this spot to order breakfast for some clients. I parked in the plaza parking lot when I arrived. When I walked in I walked to the cashier and ordered a bunch if things and the turkey bacon and egg bagel and asked for no cheese. It wasn't too expensive for everything. I paid and waited for about 10 to 15 minutes or so. I grabbed everything and left. The office was pleased with the food. I will say this place did come through in the clutch, but the downfall came when I opened my sandwich and seen they put cheese on my sandwich. I had to drive all the way back and wait for another. Their storefront is super cute, with a few small tables inside, and it's well decorated in a very farm rustic chic style. You can order bagels, bagel sandwiches, eggs, and pastries. Bagels are $1 each or $11 for a Baker's Dozen. Whatever they do to their bagels, they are light and delicious, with tons of variety. I always get a salt bagel with taylor ham (can you tell I'm a Jersey girl?!) and it is cooked to perfection. In addition to going into the store to order, you can also call in orders and then pick them up. Very convenient. read more

I came to this bagel shop and I got an egg bagel with scallion cream cheese. Nothing too crazy or complex, as this was my first time here and I wanted to see how it was. After taking my first bite, the cream cheese had the same consistency of spackle. It was thick, pasty, unflavored gunk. Also, the bagel was very hard. For something so simple, it was so bad. Flagel was great; cashier charged $ 2.40 when the posted sign says $1.25. When asked the woman said the sign was wrong. Weak. How long does it take to get an egg and cheese on a bagel? 10 minutes of it never prints and no one bothers to follow up on it. Apology? Not unless you push. Mostly just blank looks. Those people know how to move a line, and they're experts at food prep, with tons of choices. They have personality and a smile, it not at all in a corporate way. They're downtown and it feels like a community shop. No, I'm not affiliated with them and I've never had a conversation with any of the workers, I just like the place. The Bagelry? I really wanted to like this place. I often go to the Pet Supplies Plus next door, so I would love to grab breakfast at the same time. Being from NJ, I know that we're all pretty picky about our bagels... The Bagelry simply nailed the everything bagel. First off, the bagel was warm when it came out of the basket so we already know how fresh it was. The bagel was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside with little tiny crispy bubbles in the crust - it was topped with a generous amount of seasoning to give the perfect everything bagel experience in every bite. I got a bacon egg and cheese and oh man was it good. Since the bagel was still warm I didn't even need to get it toasted. The sandwich was made with two fried eggs, fresh, crispy bacon and melty cheese. It's a nice spot to get bagels if you're in the area. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with vegan cream cheese. The bagel was decent; delicious, fresh, made with just the right amount of bread, and toasted just right. I'm not sure if they make their own vegan cream cheese, but it was pretty delicious compared to other vegan cream cheeses I've tried. It was creamy, you couldn't even tell it was vegan. My only issue is I also ordered a latte with oat milk. I paid for it and they tell me that the only milk they have left is whole milk or half and half. Before ringing up a customer they should really check to make sure they have the inventory on hand before the customer pays for something they might not have.
