I have only been to this place and it was very recently for a pick up. I placed the order on DoorDash for pick up and it was ready in about 15 minutes. Might have even been sooner, but I got there within 15 minutes and they had it ready for me. Very friendly counter person. All I got was the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese and it was a very hefty sandwich. It was very delicious and I'm not sure how I've ate the whole thing, but it was hard not to. I didn't really look at the other sandwiches, but apparently some of them are good and I would definitely come back again to try more stuff. read more

Normally through my TikTok channel or website I receive many suggestions of places to try but for the town of Whippany which I was near at the time, not much was there. Not only does it look fantastic though, it also tasted fantastic! This is the test for a deli: Few, if any general, non-Specialized delis get it right. Mimi's gets it perfect. Moist, fresh rye. Lean but not dry corned beef with fantastic home-cured flavor, lots of pickling spice behind perfect meat. Delicious pastrami with bark. Four stars. Lunch today at Mini's Too Bagels & Deli on Reynolds Ave. in Whippany, NJ. I've driven by this deli many times but it was never on my radar until I saw a great review on Instagram by a guy called "TeamTaylorNJ", who is basically the David Portnoy of Taylor Ham & Egg sangweechs in N.J.. He gave Mimi's Two a very high score, one of the best in NJ, so I knew I had to stop by. The sandwich lived up to the hype. Two eggs, four nice sized slices of taylor ham, and plenty of delicious gooey cheese. Every bite was filled with deliciousness. The eggs were cooked perfectly with the yolk blending into that oozing cheese. The taylor ham with that beautiful char that really brings out the flavor. O'yeah, I also added ketchup to mine. All this on hard roll. Certainly a handfull of a sandwich. Cute, cozy, very friendly, reasonably priced little deli, basically on a neighborhood street. Mimi's is a bit off the beaten path. It's not on a major road like Rt 10, but it is well worth the time of finding it. This week, I had the chance to stop in and order a breakfast sandwich. So when I do see a place like Mimi's Too I have to throw Them some Major Respect.   My experience: I went with the Corned Beef on Rye Bread with Coleslaw and Mustard. The Sandwich was Excellent in every way possible: huge portion of Meat which was not salty or fatty at all which I totally appreciated, super fresh Rye Bread was the perfect foundation for this Massive Sandwich of Deliciousness, and the Coleslaw was just enough to add really nice zing and texture. Can You tell I Really Liked It?? Lol!!   They also make fresh Salads and Sides here too, I can personally recommend the Red Skinned Potato Salad which went perfectly with My Sandwich. I never knew Mimi's existed and it's been right in my backyard! Portion sizes are insanely huge and everything was delicious. They have an app, so you can get deals and order ahead if you prefer. It is grab and go, perfect for a quick breakfast. Everything was seasoned just right and definitely kept me full for the majority of the day with a breakfast sandwich and home fries. Tried this place before and couldn't remember how it was, so I came back and wish I didn't. The THEC plain (dry as they call it) wasn't that good. The TH was either crunchy or chewy. No consistency. The roll wasn't cut evenly in half. The roll was kinda stale and chewy. They service was good. They promptly took my order. The inside ambiance was like a messy deli with one lone table that looked like it came out of grandma's house. It wasn't very neat inside. The only thing good was the eggs and cheese. I should've just ordered an omelette. Supposedly they are tied for #2 by Teamtaylornj on instagram. They don't make it on my list. Too many better choices in the area. You're going to go here for those sandwiches to be prepared and served by some very nice people indeed. You might come here for extremely generously portioned catering orders as well, by the way. But if you're placing such a catering order for pickup, I recommend leaving enough time to pause and have yourself a sandwich. If I may recommend a pastrami with coleslaw and Russian dressing, it's gonna have heaping amount of meat on it and the pastrami will melt in your mouth. While I'm recommending specifics, they make a heck of a roast beef club as well. I also recommend a diet Dr. Brown's cream soda. Why the DIET cream soda, you ask? I did curbside pick up the other day for deli meat egg salad and cole slaw. The owner was so nice & welcoming and offered to bring it straight to my car window. Even during this crazy stressful time! The meat was fresh and flavor-able and nothing that you will get a grocery store. To add on to that their coleslaw tasted like the kind that my grandma used to make delicious and made with love!
