I am surprised by the reviews of the other users on here... I have never been disappointed by this bakery and revel at the gluten free products she produces. Her sandwich bread is amazing one of the best gluten free breads I have tasted. It freezes easy and slices easy. As far as the expense, its only $7 a loaf which is only a dollar above the Udi's asking price. For a homemade, gluten free option that is not bad at all. I have had all of her other products and was not at all disappointed. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Best gluten free bakery in the area!! I've been on the search for a great GF bakery and this one surpassed all expectations. Went in yesterday and picked up a baguette, a Boston Cream donut, blueberry muffin, and a cinnamon bun. The baguette was delicious and smelled amazing. And the cinnamon bun was out of this world. I came far to find this bakery. Was so exited. Arrived one hour and a half before closing on a Sunday hoping I would try a few things and get some bread. They had two baguettes left. In the moment I said I will take both. The few items they had looked yummy so I purchased a piece of crumb cake, a cinnamon roll and cinnamon and sugar donut. Get home and taste. I had to get a knife and cut donut and the rest because it was all Dry, Hard and Flavorless. Everything tastes the same. Hard as in stale hard. Very dense and bland. Almost like the same recipe was used on all deserts. Being GF I know how things are. Don't know when the items are made but I don't mind bland I did mind hard and dry. $25.00 waste of money and gas. Thank goodness for Plum Bakery. I grab a loaf of the Sandwich bread every week. I also love the Rye bread and Cinnamon Raisin bread. The only reason that I'm not giving this 5 stars is because their sweet baked goods are kind of hit or miss. I love the apple cinnamon rolls and the chocolate éclairs, but the donuts are a little too dense for me. Still, it's been so nice to have a good gluten free bakery so close to home. Plum Bakery is totally gluten free. I have tried almost every item. Their pies are out of this world. They have a signature Plum donut which is one of the best !!! Finding gluten-free anything and having it taste good is the biggest challenge, but this place blew me away!

Went to try this bakery on a Saturday morning. I walked in to find dirty pie and pastry plates all inside the cases. All they had left was 3 bagels and 2 cheesey egg sandwiches. The bagels looked odd and the egg sandwiches looked dried up like they've been sitting out more than just 1 day. For 11am on a Saturday...a bakery should be stocked. I was extremely disappointed and decided It was not worth my money to pay for something that looked dried out and stale. First the positive. The bakery is super cute and the girl behind the register was very friendly. Ok, now the not so good. There are a lot of good gluten free items available now. I don't understand the rave reviews when it comes to flavor. I bought a strawberry muffin that was just okay, a very dense Boston cream donut that tasted like unsweetened, chocolate covered cornbread and a glazed donut that had the same issue. I really wish they used a better flour blend and added a little more sweetener. read more

I was very excited to hear about Plum Bakery. When I visited in November, I thought the store was beautiful and everything looked delicious. I bought over $50 worth of donuts, jelly donuts, and other desserts for a party, plus a baguette. What a disappointment. The baguette was actually uncooked inside. Everything else I tried was heavy, dry, and just mediocre--nothing tasted good. Once my guests tasted something from Plum they went for the other desserts that were from Gina's and Whole Foods. I had many leftovers from Plum and no one wanted to take them home. I wonder if they actually sample what they make. A waste of money--I won't be back. read more

A friend brought me a box of gluten free treats from this 100% GF bakery-- cupcake, brownie, rugelach, choc chip cookie, and cannoli. I'm in gluten free heaven! Brownie and cupcake were my hands down favorites so far. First gf cannoli I've ever had and it was pretty darn good. Can't be easy to replicate. Giving four stars until I try the restaurant. As someone who has been gluten free for 25 years, I'm thrilled to have another place I can go and order anything off the menu. Can't wait to visit in person! read more

Wow.. I bought several different items to bring to a friend who is gluten intolerant, and I tasted all but 2.. They were fabulous. The lemon blueberry muffin was full of huge sweet blueberries; the apple cinnamon muffin was delicious and my friend's favorite. I bought a slice of marble babka--scrumptious. Best. Gluten-free. Bakery. Ever. I am addicted. The apple cinnamon roll is to die for, as is the rugelach, as was the bread I had a holiday time (cranberry walnut, I think). These products bear no resemblance to store-bought gluten free products, which typically contain low-quality ingredients like potato starch, tapioca starch and white rice flour.
