    Maple Bacon

Always satisfying. Every time I'm in West Caldwell I hit this place up. The maple bacon is to die for. Maple cream is best I have ever had. Tried apple crumb and apple cider which were both solid. The service is always good. My only complaint was my ice coffee cup had a hole in it so it dripped all over. The girls working here were very friendly and you should tip them. Check it out you won't be sad that you did.

I'd noticed a few signs in recent days at the nearby Dunkin for National Donut Day, so I was emotionally prepared for this exciting holiday yesterday. This seemed like the edgiest donut option within 20 minutes of me (Dunkin is so ubiquitous in society now that it's not much of an event), so I decided to stop by at lunchtime. That was obviously a risk, as it's obviously not the ideal time of day to get a fresh donut AND it was a donut-related holiday. I live on the edge. Glaze is located in a sprawling and oddly designed strip mall. From what I could tell, it was basically two separate strip malls with a supermarket dividing them, and tons of one-way lanes. Utter North Jersey chaos. Of course I went to the entrance on the complete opposite side, which meant it took an extra five minutes of letting eager-beaver TJ Maxx and CVS customers walk in front of my car. If there's an easier way to get to Glaze, I would recommend doing it - it's right off a busy intersection where Bloomfield and Passaic meet, so good luck. It wasn't a disaster when I walked in, but it was also clear that Glaze had been busy. The inventory was depleted and one employee was just finishing her shift and looked like she was on her way to take a nap, which, fair. (As an aside, she had a very pleasant, short conversation with the remaining employee behind the counter that was nice to see - they clearly get along and respect each other. Lots of good vibes). I'd taken a look at the menu beforehand, which had quite a few intriguing options. The one I'd had my heart set on was the maple/bacon, but unfortunately, other National Donut Day celebrants had gotten them first. I settled for my second option, which was the Twix Donut. It was definitely a tasty treat. Understandably, it's on the cakier side, which I'm usually pretty ambivalent about (ideally I like an airier donut), but this one hit the spot. It was a little messy with the caramel, but I think you know what you're getting into when you order a donut with a ton of sticky shizzle on top. The price point was maybe a little high - also, not clear what if anything Glaze actually did for National Donut Day in terms of specials/discounts other than to simply promote the holiday with its signage, but no matter - and came out to $4.20 or so. I don't recall what the price was for a donut the last time I was at Dunkin, but I'd guess this is twice that. You're getting a bigger, more sophisticated donut though, so I don't know that it's that egregious. The young woman behind the counter was very pleasant and confirmed that it had been a crazy donut holiday at the donut store. I'm lucky they even had my second option. I can't have donuts on a daily basis anymore even as rock and roll as I am, but this was a nice way to wrap up the week. The location leaves a little to be desired and I'm sure the product is a little fresher earlier in the day, but all of that is on me.

I finally got to try this place, and it did not disappoint! I brought half a dozen donuts to a friend's house, and we loved them. I got four of their fall-themed flavors, one of their signature ones offered only on the weekends, and a Better than Entenmann's one. The donuts were moist, the icing was not too sweet, and all the flavors were delicious. What a treat! The girl who serviced me (I wish I got her name) was also helpful and sweet. I'll definitely be back!

My sister is advising this review for her birthday celebration: * Pretzel donut very good but needed more pretzels on top for balance * Maple donut on the sweeter side (just like my sister awwwwww) but she says too sweet * Blueberry cream cheese gets 5 stars * S'more marshmallow layer is too thin, should have more graham pieces * Reese's: another winner * Banana foster: She doesn't like bananas but there are chunks of banana inside! woo! Overall: More full on hits than partial misses. Strong 4 stars.

Donuts are yummy, must try! I have been checking out these donuts d for a long time and they are awesome, very inpatient with there flavors!

I've had the infamous Rainbow Cookie Donut on my must list for several years now. I finally stopped into try and can 1000% say that this donut is worth the hype. Luckily I knew what I wanted, otherwise it would have been so tough to choose. Glaze has such a wide variety of flavors - really just any and every donut imaginable. The rainbow cookie donut is massive. It's priced at $5 and I think this price is very fair considering it's basically the size of two donuts. Thick layers of cake and jelly sandwiched in between the most decadent chocolate shell and topped with chocolate sprinkles. Really every bit was better than the next. Because the donut is so large I enjoyed half a few days later, and it held up really well. Even a few days later the donut was still super moist and delicious. If you are a donut lover, a rainbow cookie lover, or just a lover of sweets you really can't go wrong with this donut. Enjoy!

Blueberry crumb, both filled and classic cronuts, French toast, s'mores, and my favorite - guava cream.

First - the donuts are awesome - that's as good as this review is going to get. What store manager thinks it's a good idea to have one poor girl, by herself working on Father's Day? She was not only trying to keep up with online orders, but take care of walk ins as well. All while dealing with idiot customers verbally harassing her! It's not her fault people!!! It's the idiot store manager that's putting his people in danger. And BTW - that girl was amazing! She kept her cool, apologizing to customers for the wait while somehow keeping a smile on her face the whole time! And God bless the worker's dad (a pretty big dude) that went in and literally served as a bouncer so his daughter, that was working alone, could do so safely! He was even helping control the crowds. Store Manager - you should be ashamed of yourself - get a clue and look after your employees!

This was part of a mini strip mall and very small. Besides serving donuts, they also had a number of ice cream options. The service was appreciated and friendly during the process of ordering. I had 8 different donuts that I will describe below. Raspberry Filled Glazed - This was one of the few traditional donuts I had here. There was plenty of jelly filling and the combination of the glaze and jelly, tough to beat. Cannoli - This was filled with cannoli cream and topped with cannoli shells. The cream filling was outstanding. I was not a fan of the shells as they were a little hard. Peanut Butter & Jelly - This was my favorite donut of the day. There was a dollop of black raspberry jelly on top with a peanut butter layer along with the jelly filling, just wow. Ring Ding a Ling - This had a chocolate frosting filled with buttercream, very similar to the hostess snack of course. I enjoyed this more than I originally thought. It was a little sweeter compared to the others. S'mores - This was a vanilla cake donut topped with chocolate frosting, marshmallow cream, and graham cracker crumbs. The marshmallow crèam was the key here as there was plenty of it. New Jersey Cheesecake - This had a cream cheese filling with Belgian shaved chocolate. It was my least favorite because of the filling, not to my liking. Mint Chocolate Chip - This was a chocolate cake donut, with a mint icing topped with chocolate chips. It was essentially a thin mint cookie, big fan. Reese's - This was alright. There were Reese's topped on the chocolate frosting, thought it have more of a peanut butter taste. Will I go back? Easily.

Wasn't expecting to like this place so much and glad the NJ area is getting better donuts! Got a dozen as a gift and all flavors were amazing. The donuts are more cakey and dense, and are definitely sweet but satisfies the craving well.

This was our first time trying out Glaze Donuts, and we were excited after reading through all the great reviews. But in reality, our experience was quite lackluster....bae ordered 3 donuts (Jelly filled, Maple, and Apple turnover kind), and a coffee. We ended up bringing the donuts home, and we quickly realized after tasting these, that the donuts were stale and on top of it, there wasn't anything special about them. We ended up not eating up and had to trash them since they were stale. The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star is that the coffee was decent and the kids working behind the cash counter were nice and courteous.

We did not get lunch, but we saw ramen and tteokbokki on the menu and would love to come back again to try it. Everything was so affordable too. But most of all, what made the experience SO amazing was the owner and the employee whom I believe was his son (?). He was SO kind and helpful, and insisted on providing many snacks as we sat and chatted, and offering a variety of samples. He opened the cafe in his retirement and clearly poured so much love into it. He was the LOVELY person and made us feel extremely welcome. 10/10 experience.
