I wish I could give this shop a higher review because I do adore this spot-- the vibes are wonderful and the edible cookie dough itself is DELICIOUS, but unfortunately each time I have gone, the service hasn't been great. The worker at the front is not approachable and not willing to assist when asked questions. *this pains me to write, but...* Have you ever seen the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld? If so, and if you've been here, you know what I mean already. The products are phenomenal. Everything is beyond delicious and the pro dough is bonkers. But the one woman who works there (and seems to be the only one there EVERY TIME I go) is so painfully miserable, I have to just move on. Don't dare ask for assistance, question the menu or God forbid engage in friendly banter because it won't be met well. It's more like you're annoying her with your mere existence. Sensory over load because there are a lot of cookies to choose from, but no nutritional contents on them, so basically you do not know how many calories your consuming, fat, protein, etc and the "help" was not "helpful". With that said, we ventured to purchase the truffles 6 for $12. (Aporox 150 calories each)Not that impressed. Dry and not sure how many grams of protein or sugar. As far as the shakes, again no nutritional information, very confusing and what made it worse was the rude "help". Btw. No where to sit down so you pay and leave. The owner has a TERRIBLE attitude. Just read her terms and conditions on the website. The way she talks down to her clientele is shameful! I will NEVER understand nor tolerate a business owner saying they are not responsible for their products once shipped. Horrible customer service. I have spent over $1000 in the last year here. Last two shipments came with lids off and contents oozing all over the inside of the box. Dough tasted off. I emailed twice with no response. I finally called and they told me that they are not responsible for contents once shipped. I literally set my alarm and stop whatever I'm doing in the middle of the evening any time a pro-dough release is happening to make sure I snag up as much as I can - THAT'S how good this stuff is. It will make you lose your mind Regular cookie dough crushes your macros because of all of the fat - instead this dough has low fat, decent protein, and great carbs - making it a great pre workout or guilt free treat when you're trying to maintain your macros! My all time favorites are anything "roo" themed (dunk-a-roo) because it comes with a light fluffy base and fat free fluff - it tastes like God made a cookie dough icing and sent it fresh from the angels to you. My favorite flavors cutting (lowest calories) are Cinnabon and cookies and cream. I saw some reviews about the nutrition and owner. This is a SMALL BUSINESS not Carvel, no she can't send EVERY item to be tested for macros, and she constantly has new inventions/seasonal items... she does her best testing ALL her prodough bases and lets you know on the pro dough the exact ingredients and macros. From there, all cookies truffles etc are made so you can guesstimate. This is esSentially a BAKERY, do you go into other bakeries and small business food business asking for exact macros and ingredients? NO... you don't. And Deanna (owner) gives you ALL nutrition info on her pro-dough, so if you're so concerned then get THAT. Don't get the Oreo dough stuffed cookie topped with whipped cream then... what do you expect? The owner is all a straight shooting bodybuilding power lifter from NEW JERSEY, she doesn't have time to go through every item with you and yes sometimes the shop runs out of ingredients - she isn't going to powder you and your kids' butts with all your requests. The cookie dough is excellent, however it takes forever to ship. The first time I pinged them to understand why 3 weeks went by without my shipment. I thought it was a fluke. The second time I ordered after a week of waiting and was told it takes 1-2 weeks. I'm going on a 3rd week and nothing has shipped. I think this may be it and I'll move on. read more

We are frequent customers of the Dough Palace for many reason. First the place is not only adorably decorated for each holiday, but it is also spotless. It is meticulously clean, something I think is so important when purchasing food. As for the treats, we are fans of the truffles and pro-dough. Each season there are different flavors of Truffles and Prop-Dough, as well as the classics. As for truffles, you really can't go wrong. Cookie Butter, Half Baked and Red Velvet are a few of our faves. We usually try a different Pro-Dough flavor each time, and are always happy with our choice. It's delicious right out of the container or baked to make a cookie. And finally, both Dee and Ashley are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this bakery! There are truffles, glam cookies, glam shakes and sooo much more! There is a huge variety of flavors and all are so delicious. My favorite thing to buy are the truffles or cookies with fillings and of course the dairy free glam shakes!! Being lactose intolerant, it's almost impossible to find a place that sells dairy free milkshakes that are still creamy in texture and taste good, so I was so excited when I found out this was another thing the dough palace makes! Dee and Ashley are also very friendly!! I go here almost every week and they are always very nice and answer any questions I have. Dee is so so friendly and so creative and really puts her all into everything she makes to be sure every customer is happy with what they buy. Me and my family have placed orders for birthday cakes and all have been so creative, you can really tell how much hard work was put into it! She goes above and beyond!! Ashley is also amazing she always helps me pick my truffles and is so patient with how indecisive I can be sometimes with what I should buy since there are sooo many options! First, the inside of this place is adorable and is filled with tons of goodies! My friends started going here for her protein pop tarts and glam shakes. I am not a huge sweet eater but I couldn't help but be curious about protein filled edible cookie dough. I tried the red velvet and rainbow cookie, both are pretty yummy and I don't like baked cookies so yay for cookie dough! It's not cheap but you are paying for quality. Have been here a few times now and when they first opened, I would have given them 5 stars. However, every time I have gone, the service and products got worse. The last time i visited, I actually bought a few different items, but got very sick from one of their cookies. Intense stomach pains and other things I wont go into. I'm not sure what they changed, but the ingredients are not what they used to be and you can tell by the taste of the products. Even the pro-dough itself is not the same. Cute new store in town full of very expensive protein truffle and cookies. Some of the truffles had an off chemical taste where others we bland with no taste. Beware of the glitter when making your purchase, she uses NON edible glitter which is goes all over your face when eating. Honestly, the product itself is amazing. They have really mastered taste without sacrificing macros. I have been a loyal customer for years - truly, due to their product. However, their customer service is what has turned me away. For anyone who does not live in NJ, it is a pain to order. First of all, there isn't a dedicated account for releases, instead, they use their owner's personal Instagram to advertise. Which, if you attempt to send questions to via message, will be ignored. The only true way of reaching them would be via phone or sending a message under the custom cakes tab. Even if you do that, there is a high chance they will ignore your message, or respond with snark/sass. With the overwhelming amount of reviews that complain about employees being rude, I am not surprised. Sadly, I will not be supporting this business anymore due to their customer service - since it is such a good product, they should look into hiring someone who specializes in marketing and customer service. It would be worthwhile for them - they truly aren't capitalizing on their online market. If they ever do change their ways, I would love to circle back and be a loyal customer again.
