Yum! This is such a nice addition to the dessert scene in Montclair. Parking is nice and easy and the restaurant is lovely inside. Their crepes are delicious as well as their strawberry cups, waffle sticks and iced coffee. Their packaging is also very luxury looking. And the server behind the counter was very friendly and offered good suggestions. Love this place

Had the honey bun latte on a rainy day so I opted for it being hot, unfortunately I was not impressed. Perhaps I would've enjoyed it better had it been cold. Still willing to come back as they have other speciality drinks. Service was quick and cashier/barista was friendly.

I was super excited to try this new little spot. I love that they offer a double cup to fill with 2 different drinks! I ordered a matcha latte and strawberry matcha latte. My husband had a regular latte. We both thought our drink tasted good. The service was very friendly. The cafe had nice seating areas and booths. I can't wait to come back and try the crepes and pastries!

Cute little cafe! Friendly & fast customer service. They have limited parking - had trouble finding parking on a Saturday afternoon but we were able to park on the street! We got the honey bun iced latte & a lavender lemonade. We loved the lavender lemonade but the honey bun iced latte it was okay I wouldn't get it again I felt like it was missing something but it was still a good latte. I'd come again to try their different drinks & potentially work remotely / study at the cafe.

Me and the ladies had our book club meet here. Loved the comfy sitting area and the cafe was cute. I ordered the Iced Carmel Latte and it was too sweet for my liking. If you like sweet, go for it but if you enjoy coffee and prefer a touch of sweetness, do not order it. I also had the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, which was rough around the edges and too sweet. My friend had the crepes and she loved it. Looked delicious but again too sweet for my liking. Customer service was welcoming and we were there for over an hour and the staff didn't seem to mind, which was ideal for us. I wouldn't go back but if you love sweet desserts you may enjoy it.

Super cute cafe where the old Krauzer's used to be. They have coffee, lattes, crepes and some other sweets. I got two lattes (honey bun and lavender) with oat milk, $9 each. You could taste the espresso in each so not watered down with milk at all. Can't wait to try the crepes next time and a new latte flavor.

Great atmosphere and they really don't skip the honey, my crepe was drenched in it (to my delight). The coffee was great, I did add an extra packet of sugar but that could just be my sweet tooth. Great place for some studying or just getting a sweet treat.

The food was really excellent and the service is excellent I recommend this place to try

Went here for a chai, ended up getting Kunefe as well. Really yummy! I love how their drinks are served in a fancy plastic cup thing.

We always love to stop into Cafe Giotto whenever possible…read more Indoor/ outdoor seating with a new addition to the indoor seating space since we noticed. Usually, we tend to take out as I did today, or sit outside at the tables too. It's always a special treat- fav dishes -bolognese lasagna and rice balls. On other visits, we also loveeee the gnocchi. Staff are always super nice, helpful, and friendly. We will definitely come back soon on our next trip to Montclair. Yum.

***3 1/2 stars***…read more Yesterday I decided on a total whim to just grab lunch here before seeing Disclosure Day across the street. I've walked by a gazillion times, usually in the mid-afternoon or evening when the place is really jumping (at least based on the outdoor seating situation). This time around, I came for an early lunch around 11:30am when there were only a few other people sitting down and I had my pick of indoor or outdoor seating. I didn't get much of a look at the interior during my brief trip inside, but it seemed pleasant enough. Morally I didn't have much of a choice though but to sit outside at their communal picnic tables, given that it was sunny and 72. You do the math. As most of my solo eating adventures go, the service was excellent. It definitely helped that it wasn't busy, but both waitresses on the premises were super attentive and I ordered my meal literally within 30 seconds of sitting down. I wasn't on a hardcore schedule (my movie wasn't for an hour and 15 minutes) but I was in and out in probably 20-25 minutes, which is just wild for a legit sit-down meal. Top marks all around. I liked that they kept a bottle of tap at my table too; just efficient there. As soon as I saw gnocchi on the menu, my decision was made. I went with the gnocchi al pomodoro off the lunch entree menu, which was honestly just okay. This is usually a dish I really enjoy, and while it was clearly fresh (the chunks of mozzy are a nice touch) it was pretty bland and tasteless. It's extremely rare for me to look around for seasoning, but I did here (and didn't see any within range, so let it go). Honestly very surprising. The gnocchi itself was fine, but the pieces were so small it was actually difficult to eat/get them onto the fork tines. I had to scoop most of them up, and it was a slow process. Not the biggest deal in the world (the gnocchi was tasty in and of itself) but just a slight annoyance. The price point was fine; with tip, I paid a little over $20, which is on par for Montclair. Maybe it was just an off day/lunch, but I think the play is to come back for dinner with a bottle of wine and get a different dish. This place is very popular (during my brief meal, several people walked by openly declaring they were going to stop by later to eat) so perhaps a few grains of salt here, which would have been nice to add to my dish.

I saw the good reviews so I was disappointed when I received my desserts. Most of the cake slices were around $7, but when I asked for a cheesecake or pistachio one, one slice was $13 which I found to be expensive so I did not get that one. My friends and I decided on 3 cakes: strawberry, Oreo, and chocolate. I don't think I will ever be returning - the cakes tasted old. The best way to describe it was a like it came from a chain supermarket - lacking flavor and not up to fresh quality. The only one that was edible was the chocolate slice. We felt so bad to have to throw away the other two cakes, but they were not good at all. It was a waste of money to pay so much for a slice and not eat it.
