We are so happy to be back in NJ so we can go to our favorite breakfast spot Jacks Cafe. My family and I went there for our breakfast today and it was absolutely delicious. My Mom is still talking about how good her breakfast was. Jack and Marianne are so nice and friendly they make us feel right at home. The service is fantastic and always served with a smile. The restaurant is very nice inside and has a great welcoming feel. We loved the food so much we are already planning to go back again before we go back home to Arizona. Prior to heading to Verona Park we were searching for a spot to enjoy a nice breakfast with the kids. We were seated promptly in the back by the super nice and friendly staff. It's not a huge place but there are a few tables along with a long counter (no alcohol) to seat more peeps. They have your usual breakfast foods - pancakes, French toast, bacon, eggs and so on. We decided on a pancake and French toast combo (comes with meat and eggs). The food was good but the staff made it even better. Their coffee was delicious! Prices are really reasonable and they allowed us to sub plain pancakes with blueberry ones...score! Enjoy! read more

Visited this place for the first time and it will not be my last. I had the eggs Benedict with the arugula, which was not bitter. The hollandaise sauce was also perfect. Good coffee. I wouldn't actually call this place a caffe, but rather a small diner. They do not have any other coffee except the basic American coffee and no morning pastry of any kind that a cafe would carry. So I finally found a place that has great eggs Benedict. I added avocado and they didn't charge me extra they were the perfect size not too large not too small and I got the potatoes on the side. Ask for extra crispy because they are definitely not. If you like extra crispy like I do. I'm hoping this place to remember it because I have to come back to New Jersey next spring. And it's been very hard to find a really good breakfast place that's a fair price. This place was also very clean and very friendly staff. Normally we eat breakfast in our hotel but it gets old because they don't change any of the food ever always the same every morning. So keeping a list of restaurants that are good and not so good for the next time I come back. However I don't yelp every restaurant I go to because they may be Papa with somebody else but they just weren't that good for me. read more

We walked into Jack's to have breakfast. It was like walking into a relative's house. We were welcomed in by Marianne. She was friendly and courteous with a great personality. We had the best chocolate chip pancakes and taylor ham I have ever had. The chocolate milk was definitely great. She checked on us a lot and Jack came out from the back to see how the food was. Really looking forward to the homemade corned beef hash and plan on ordering it next weekend with my breakfast. The chicken salad was also excellent in my last order. It came with dried cranberries and some sort of seeds sprinkled on top of it served over arugula. The spinach eggs benedict is very good.
