I was very excited to try out this small Turkish x French fusion cafe for brunch today since the ingredients on the menu is suppose to be high quality and wholesome. We expect to pay extras for any quality food, unfortunately this visit was disappointing. We arrived on a Sunday, around 10:30am. There are 5 tables, plenty of seating because no one dined in. This cafe requires you to order first and then pay (including an opt to tip even before receiving service). Which isn't a problem because we always tip. Turns out every item we ordered were more expensive than the prices listed on the menu. Pricing should not vary between customers, this is what helps build a great group of loyal customers. My husband ordered a crepe, with spinach and cheese fillings-flavor was not bad, and it definitely tastes like a Turkish spinach pie, except in crepe form. I ordered an avocado toast with a poached egg, but extremely disappointed they used Sabra's (or similar) avocado spread. No offense, but that's the same spread I buy from Costco. I don't see why I have to pay over $15 for a slice of bread with a mass market guacamole spread/dip. To be honest, all the avocado toasts that I've EVER ordered were made with fresh avocados , until today. The food was very mediocre, nothing special. Our waitress was friendly. Both of our drinks were $11 each, NOT worth the price in my opinion. NYC is know for high prices, and I can get the same sz juice with multiple in ingredients and great tasting too! The blueberry and banana smoothie was very runny, too watered down. So don't expect to order this as a meal. Be expected to pay $1 extra for almond milk. The green juice tasted like it only had spinach and cucumbers only, missing the ginger, apple, and lemon flavors (which are ingredients listing on the menu). I asked the waitress for a piece of lemon to add into my juice. The recipe could be definitely be improved. We also ordered two Turkish bagels, but didn't receive it until we were ready to leave. Plus, we had to wait longer for the bagels despite having to already dined in for almost 45 mins. And during the wait, the lady took two bagels out from the fridge and microwaved it for 1 minute. We told her we could've heated the bread up at home but she said the bread is currently under cooked so it needed extra time for "cooking." Probably better for us to visit a bakery for FRESH Turkish bagels. The bill for 2 ppl was $75 (this includes taxes) for a Sunday brunch at this cafe. I think you are better off going elsewhere, maybe a diner.

I really really wanted to like this spot but it didn't hit the mark. The service is great & the ambiance is quaint & welcoming, but the crepes were very disappointing. They were white, doughy, and lacking flavor. We ended up throwing them away unfortunately. For an $18 item (each) we expected a lot more... we won't be returning but maybe you'll have better luck!

The best crepes and specialty coffee in town. Loving everything about the shop. The owner is a gem and is so nice!

The coffee is phenomenal. So far have tried the Pistachio, Oreo, Nutella, Biscoff lattes (iced and hot), all of which are amazing. Out of the myriad coffee shops/ cafes in Montclair that offer amazing specialty coffees, Fontaine's tastes so yummy without compromising coffee flavor. They also have out of this world crepes and a chicken sandwich that was delish. EDIT: I tried their pumpkin flavored coffee and it was amazing! So subtly tasty without that ultra-sugary "pumpkin" sweetener most PSLs have. This had nice seasonal cinnamon touch to it. The ambiance is cozy and fun, with funky artwork on the walls. It's a pleasant atmosphere. The lovely owner and staff are what sets this place apart. Highly recommend 10/10

The interior is incredibly charming, and I love the atmosphere. The owner is always smiling and happy, which adds to the pleasant experience. The sandwiches are generously sized, so I often share one with a friend. The coffee, particularly the hot lattes, is exactly how I like it. I've recommended this place to many coworkers and friends, and they all love it too.

This place is love. How can you not find something amazing at this quiet little cafe tucked into a corner in Montclair? They always greet you with a warm smile and great service! The Turkish sesame bagel was delicious and incredibly flavorful. Chocolate chip cookies are made just right - soft dough, hard chips, and they melt in your mouth. This is a great getaway spot to escape a hectic day and get some yummy treats. Fair prices for a great variety. Wheelchair accessible with a ramp located outside. You gotta go!

Was walking around Montclair and stopped in for a matcha latte. The ladies were nice and my matcha Latte was decent. I like that they have a couple of tables outside so I could sit with my pup. Would definitely come back to try the food and pastries!

We ordered take out but definitely planning to be back to eat in too. The sandwiches we ordered (egg and cheese & vegetarian) were delicious! The bread was amazing and perfectly toasted. We also ordered the banana pudding desert for the day which also was very good. Can't wait to try out other foods and drinks!

It's one of those dishes that gets even more delicious as you eat it. The meal was perfectly balanced, made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The chef was back there doin his thing! The pancakes were fluffy came topped with blueberries and strawberries, and a generous carafe of dulce de leche. Located in Montclair, this small breakfast and lunch spot is a local favorite. The service was really good, they were very attentive to our large group and my toddler. They had some books for him. I had the huevas rancheros, which is only available Fri-Sun. It had 2 eggs that came on 2 fried tortillas and a side of potatoes and avocado slices. It was delicious, very flavourful and satisfying. The sourness of the seasoning went really well with the plain bean and tortilla taste and complimented the eggs well. Everyone at the table was satisfied with their meal. There's free street parking right up front. I've been here twice and both visits were positive experiences. The cafe is small, but cozy. The greenery and natural lighting make it a welcoming space to meet up with a friend over coffee and pastries or to study. There's a few tables, a couch, and stool seating facing the window. There's also free wifi and outlets. The tables are on the smaller side and the cafe isn't that big, so it's probably not best for large groups. Their menu is simple and a bit limited. Honestly... I prefer it that way! They have your core espresso drinks and a few paninis and croissant sandwiches. They bake their own pastries fresh on the premises. I recommend trying their cookies - they are huge, soft, and chewy! They also specialize in custom cakes for special occasions. Everything is reasonably priced. Baristas are sweet and efficient. They make some tasty iced lattes! The espresso is strong, but not too bitter. It has just the right balance of coffee and milk. I recently tried the Ham Solo sandwich ($10) which included scrambled egg, ham, cheddar, and avocado on a croissant with a side of chips. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. The egg was dry and the ham and cheese tasted like those cheap, pre-sliced ones from grocery stores. If I lived closer, I could see myself stopping by more often. Check them out if you're in the area!

When we first arrived, we saw there was a line out the door. Luckily we had made a reservation. We still had to wait about 15 minutes but they had a small seating area which we used. The place was pretty and had an interesting design to it. We were seated at the back on a bigger table which they divided into half for another family. The worker there mentioned they could move us to another table once there was an availability but this was no issue for us so we stayed where we were. We got the BLT sandwich with sauteed onions, micki mouse shaped waffle, birria tacos and shashuska. We also got the chicken and steak empanadas and also strawberry mint lemonade and mint lemonade. The food was good. The Shashuska and Birria Tacos were tasty. The birria tacos however were VERY oily...the oil was dripping out! The BLT was ok - nothing special but nothing bad but the fries it came with seemed to not have been seasoned evenly (some were very salty and others lacked salt). Waffle was good - normal. We also had gotten the chicken and steak empanadas. The chicken empanadas were tasty and better than the steak one. The sauce the chicken empanadas came with was limey and tasty.
