After eating at Ani Ramen we wanted a coffee a couple of blocks away and I've been trying to stop at this location for a while so it's been long overdue! They have the cutest entrance and it's really welcoming inside. It pulls you in from the business of Bloomfield Ave on this quiet side street. Was happy to see the owner of this establishment up front and she welcomed us her spot and recommend some options for us. I'll have to come back for their guava and cheese pastelito since they were fresh out. I went for a regular latte and a tres leches iced latte for my friend. Perfect amount of sweetness in the drink, you'd figured it would be overly sweet but not the case. We also split a concha (pan dulce) which was perfect with the coffee, a real treat. I'm holding space next time for some brunch items. Don't hesitate to stop here you won't be disappointed.

Great spot! Had this location flagged for several weeks and finally made it last Saturday around 12pm. It was pretty packed! It's a smaller shop with several tables and an area in the back for a larger party, which was so nice to see they could accommodate! We ordered egg empanada, pancakes and short rib huevos rancheros with a side of avocado. We loved everything. Service was so nice and you can tell they really put love into each dish! Can't wait to go back!

One of my favorite places in Montclair! Walk through the doors and feel the bright and warm, open and inviting vibes and space! Came alone this time, but had breakfast items with my folks a few months ago. They loved it also. Pass by the case of gorgeous pastries, croissants and coffee bar, and order takeout, or treat yourself and sit and savor a meal or treat in peace! Ordered the ceviche with crisp tostones was so colorful and beautifully plated, it was a work of art As beautiful as the art on the walls. My cafe latte on this cold, cold day was perfectly hot and balanced. The staff are attentive and helpful in helping you select menu choices. Highly recommended!

Great service and food! Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try, it was pretty good. It's not traditional so it will offer an American twist, still very tasty. It's a very comfortable place too!

Still my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Montclair. Great service and the food is top tier. Parking can be tough but worth it. This time I got the pollo entree and it was the perfect amount of food. Flavorful and excellent. Came with one side of your choice.

Such a great gem in Montclair! You can get your coffee and pastry or gather for brunch or even have a proper, sit-down meal all at one spot! Everything was yummy and pretty-- food for the taste buds and food for the eyes! The ceviche was such a standout and crowdpleaser that we ordered 2 for our table of 5. The lomo saltado was so satisfying -- and the side of creamy, basil noodles was rich, but a surprisingly good, herby complement. We'll be back to try more items on the menu. Definitely a spot to impress and bring guests to. Ordered: ceviche, assorted empanadas, lomo saltado with basil cream noodles

What a stellar little spot! Not the biggest space overall but accommodates large and small parties quite comfortably. Upon arrival there's a little cafe counter where you can order some coffee/drinks and treats. We dropped by on a Sunday a little before noon. We were seated in about 10-15 min. Staff definitely working as quickly as they could but still friendly. Overall very busy and seemed like they were understaffed. Only saw one waitress taking table orders. They took awhile to take our order and same for our food to arrive. But when it did.. boy did it deliver! Piping hot perfection. Camaron al ajillo (6/5) the fresh scallions, onions just hit the spot adding crispy freshness to the rich sauce that had a tiny bit of a kick. The shrimp was cooked to perfection YUM. I would've opted for rice to soak up all the sauce but I ordered a side of the basil noodles that come with the lomo since I saw another table eating it. NO REGRETS but definitely on the heavier side in terms of pairing. Tres leches pancakes (3.4/5) we shared it as a table and it came with a little carafe of milk which pulled it all together. I wouldn't say it's my favorite of anything we had but it was a nice treat, pancakes were soft but still held up even with it being soaked. It was kind of a basic pancake (well made) with some bells and whistles. Mangu tres golpes (5/5) Great option if you want a little bit of everything. Simple dish but perfected in flavor and well balanced textures. Every element had a purpose and it did not disappoint.

My best Gardening associate treated me to breakfast a while ago when I paid him a visit to repair his barrel composter I made him a few years ago. we got a couple empanadas and he made me get the al fajor because he knew I was Peruvian and needed me to judge it. While we were waiting he said one of the owner is also Dominican. immediately I saw the picture/painting of Morir soñando. I asked if they served that and the lady was yes. within a nano second I said yes please. As we were waiting I explained to my friend that morir S is made with OJ and milk and he threw up in his mouth. They also sell in a kola and country club soda. so definitely legit Peruvian and Dominican. everything tastes good warm and fresh. a couple days later I saw that they serve fancy brunch. I would like to try but there's no time :(

What a great experience coming here. The food is solid. It's a great fusion of Peruvian and Dominican food and I definitely appreciate having something like this in Montclair. I highly recommend this to anyone that's passing by or interested in seeing what the food's like- it's delicious.!

Funny you should ask, a party came in with balloons when we had dinner there. I would call them to verify.
