I was with a party of six and at 11AM, we were all in a breakfast mood. We tried and all liked the Brioche French Toast, the Mushroom Thyme omelet and the Shakshuka. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with lemon curd and blueberries just didn't hang together. (Only four dishes for six people because two of us ordered the omelet and two the French toast). Overall the food was very good and the portions generous. Beverages were fine. The service was a bit spotty, possibly because we had two waiters who seemed to be tripping over each other. The interior was so pretty, especially w/ the lit-up tree and wall-to-wall windows. I love syrup, and seldomly do I decide not to use it on pancakes, but the lemon pancakes were so packed with flavor I did not need it. The lemon is prominent in the taste, but not overwhelming. Just perfect. The service was also very good. I got my masala chai relatively quickly and my meal came shortly after that. The truffle fries were also very good. The ambiance of this place is great! Our server could not even hear our order. The menu offers about a dozen breakfast items, about a dozen lunch sandwiches, five salads, and a few other items. I opted for the Cobb salad. The salad itself was very good. However, I did not care for the green goddess dressing that comes with it. I then asked my server if I could just get some ranch dressing and she said they did not have ranch dressing but offered the lemon parmesan or the vinaigrette soy. Well, this place sure is popular on a Sunday during brunch and I can see why! The hostess was very kind and said it would be an hour and fifteen minute wait, but if a seat became available at the bar or high tops, we could sit earlier. We elected for the bar and were sat in under twenty minutes. Our waitress' name was Alana and she was excellent. She took our drink order right away. My mom had decaf coffee and said it wasn't bad. I had the campfire S'mores latte which was delicious but the latte itself had an odd aftertaste. It even has teddy grahams on the top, and I would not recommend getting if you don't like sweet drinks. The fluff on top was delicious especially paired with the graham cracker crumbs. As for our starter, we had the pumpkin popovers which were different. They kind of reminded me of little muffins with a different consistency. The star of the show here was the pecans which were so delicious. For mains, my mom got the whisk omelette, which she said was rich and delicious. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes and the pancakes were so fluffy. I would get this again. The lemon sauce on top tasted like a lemon loaf from Starbucks which I did not mind at all. The blueberries paired with the lemon were a perfect combo. I also got the patatas brava which I would literally go back just for that. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the aioli was absolutely mind blowing. I would come back here again. The atmosphere is perfect for brunch or lunch. Went here for lunch on a busy Sunday, around 1:15pm. Restaurant was packed but we had a short 5-10 minute wait for a table for two. We were seated and it took approximately 10 minutes before anyone came by, and when he did, we placed our order: two drinks (lemonade and a jasmine iced tea, both delicious), a So-Cal Crispy Chicken, and a Turkey Club. 2025.06.30 Updated edit to original review: changed Service from 4/5 to 2/5. While it was busy, it would have gone a long way had our waiter come by within the first 3 minutes of us being seated and said something along the lines of, "I'll be with you in a few moments". But the big reason for this score change is the fact that my GF saw something I did not: a woman had finished wiping down two tables behind me and while walking away, past other patrons, was swinging the cleaning rag she had just used around in circles. Another 10 minutes went by and we were brought ice water and our drinks. And another 5-ish minutes went by and my GF's So-Cal Crispy Chicken sandwich (which she said was good and would order again), and I was brought a panini, the prosciutto panini, I think (by someone who wasn't our original waiter). I obviously sent it back and about 5 minutes later, I was brought a Turkey Panini by the same not-original-waiter. I flagged down our original waiter and asked him if my sandwich was in fact, not a turkey club. He apologized, removed the turkey panini, and about 5 minutes later, brought me the correct sandwich. So, the wait was worth it: absolutely one of the best turkey clubs I've ever had. Just wish it had arrived correctly. The waiter comped my lemonade. I told him the third sandwich was worth it, and he seemed surprised that I got two incorrect sandwiches. Not a huge deal, won't stop me from returning to order it again. As far as the ambiance: it's loud. If the restaurant is full, expect to be straining to hear conversations with your table-mate.
