Top TIER eats, the food was exceptional. Full of flavor, clean ingredients & perfectly portioned. Very clean facility, and staff was lovely/ helpful. Visiting on repeat for sure.
Very good ambience, simple and elegant. Great service too, very nice people. The good was tasty, but the chutney inside the rolls and sandwich was a little too watery. Kept leaking quite a bit. The mango cloud drink was great. But the chainwas ok-ish.
I love this place! The people are so nice and every single bit here has been amazing. Last time I had the Unda Bhurji Pao and it was delicious. My cold brew was excellent. Parking lot is hit or miss but will not deter me from coming here. I got a cake here recently and it was an absolute delight. Come here and I guarantee you'll love it too.
Had a delicious Chana masala roll with egg and almond rose cappuccino! Bro got the chili cheese toast and a masala chai! Although it was packed, service didn't take too long! Orders are placed at the counter, then served to your seat. It was a frigid day when I was there and a bit unpleasantly cold to have repeated opening and closing of doors (both sides of restaurant). Bro and I both agreed that the masala chai was a bit weak. My cappuccino was excellent! Food was super fresh and delicious! Great small hole in the wall restaurant with somewhat difficult parking in millburn!
Food was good, a little spicier than I expected, but I liked it. Coffee was terrible. We ordered a flat white and a latte, both with oat milk, and the milk separated from the coffee. So it was like a coffee, with a layer of steamed milk on top. Super pricey given the quality.
Back again and this time did a gf df omelete with Indian spices. So unctuous and flavorful and healthy and filling. Gluten free bread and a salad with the best salad dressing came with it. Fabulous almond cookies that crumble in the month. Gorgeous and clean interiors with a very welcoming ambiance always !
During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind and helpful with navigating Vegan options of the menu. As of June 6, 2026, one of the Vegan Handmade Kati Rolls is not on an online menu though one may find it on the in-store menu. The difference between the two Vegan rolls is that one has potatoes as core ingredients whereas the other has Chickpeas. Thinking of protein though of a light meal option due to having a high protein morning thus far then, I opt for the Kati Roll with the Chickpeas, which is so flavorful. From my very first bite, my mouth fills with non-spicy spices (though I like spices, so taste far more flavor than any mouth tingling sensation), pure savory rich soft delight, with nary an after taste (which, of these flavors, I think may be quite nice actually). The interior decorating seems quite Feng Shui Minimalist Industrialist. There is an outdoor eating area in somewhat of a more private court area away from the parking lot. The establishment accepts different forms of payment. Chill Vibes.

I had the Bombay Sandwich: buttered triple-layered Pan de Mie (milk-soaked bread) stacked with veggies, cheese, and a mint-coriander chutney so good I almost proposed. Hubs devoured the Grilled Chili Cheese Toast: sourdough, cheddar, gouda, bell peppers, corn, and green chili- an upgrade that grilled cheese never knew it needed. Both came with a real salad- not that sad bagged shit. Dessert was a win! Our daughter crushed a giant Chocolate Chip Cookie, while we got fancy with the Rose and Pistachio Cake- lush, spiced with saffron-soaked milk topped with edible rose petals and pistachio. The Bun Maska was fine but not a must-order. Overall, really good and worth another visit. The Simple fare is an adorable cafe that serves delicious creative yet comforting Indian bites, refreshing coffee & tea, and delightful cakes. The vibe is cozy & relaxed with an outdoor patio complimented by a fountain. The service is pleasant & the owner graciously walked me through their story, the inspiration behind the cafe & the mouthwatering menu they so thoughtfully designed. I enjoyed their salted caramel cold brew, rose pistachio cake, & tandoori chicken sandwich - can't wait to visit again & try more things. The Simple Fare wins your heart with its concept & soul satisfying food.
Wow this a very cute local Indian fusion spot I would highly recommend. It is a sit down place, but you order at the counter and they'll give you a number where you can wait for your food. The tandoori chicken sandwich hit the spot as did the rose pistachio cake- both are a little on the pricier end but I would 100% recommend. We also go the chicken kati roll- but that was mediocre. Can't wait to come back and try more items!
We recently purchased a box of Diwali sweets from this location and the sweets were delicious! Its a little pricey but everything was so yummy, so I probably will order again. I tried a sample of their rose pistachio cake and that was so good as well. I did not sit down for brunch but it looked like a great spot to grab a bite! The place has great ambiance, would totaly go for brunch here someday.
Stopped here for a quick bite and some coffee. I ordered the rose pistachio cake and an apple pie (small). Cute little cafe and the staff was sweet. Kindly adding any additions I asked for. Although I asked for my treats to go, I did sit outside and dove in. The lil apple pie was ok generic but then again I asked for it to be warmed up (which they did), just wasn't warmed enough for my standard. The rose pistachio cake was really good though. That I enjoyed. Reminded me of a lighter cornbread type bake.
I got the sloppy Joe and it was delicious, but it was tiny!!!! Do not buy!!!! Cost too much for the amount of meat given in a sloppy Joe. I took 3 bites and the sandwich was gone. It about the size of McDonald cheese burger. I understand the restaurant business is difficult, but I felt scammed.
Took advantage of the nice weather today and grabbed a bite to eat for lunch and enjoyed the outdoor seating at The Simple Fare in Millburn. TL;DR would definitely make a return visit, food was really delicious, flavorful, and fresh; service was friendly and fast. Our party of four got: * Avocado Toast with Fried Egg * Breakfast Eggs & Lamb Keema Bowl * Chicken Kati Roll * Lamb Keema Kati Roll * Mango Lemonade * Rose Matcha Latte * Salted Caramel Cold Brew This was our first time there. Went in, were warmly greeted, grabbed some menus and a table outside, looked over the menu, and went back inside to order. They gave us a number plate and said a server would bring our food out to us. It arrived pretty quickly and everyone cleaned their plates. read more
Modern Indian inspired cafe with a variety of pastries, dishes, and drinks. They have a small indoor seating area as well as a nice outdoor section in the back courtyard, which is perfect for warmer weather. Food was delicious and flavorful. I came for lunch and they had a fun menu of dishes with Indian twists on them. I tried the Bombay sandwich and their Aloo Tikki burger, and thoroughly enjoyed both. I wish they could offer their masala chai in iced format for the recent hot weather, but understand that it's more authentic this way. I'll definitely try it next time. read more

Cute walk down cafe that has unique drinks (masala chai, thandai) as well as traditional beverages (latte, espresso, tea, ect). They have pastries, light fare (salads) as well as heartier entrees (chicken curry, Chana masala). Some items like the Bombay sandwich and bun maska sound like good foods to try (unique and fusion). Just ordered drinks at this visit. I had the masala chai, which was very smooth, creamy and had hints of cinnamon, pepper, cardamom and ginger). None of the elements overpowered the others. Casual establishment with good quality food and drinks. Walking in you got a chill vibe with modern seating and outdoor seating as well for the summer time. The drinks were great - presentation was nice and they gave us a small brownie. The fennel scone is real good and I'm not a big scone person. Breakfast sandwich was rich in flavor and the bread was airy and so fresh! Chili toast was spot with perfect combo of spice and cheese. Jaggery fennel French toast is a must get! read more

Cute cafe in Millburn. Was excited to find a menu in Millburn with so many Indian flavors and wanted to try it all. Loved the fennel date and jaggery scone which were such unique combination of flavors and the breakfast sandwich was just perfection! Will surely be coming back for more. The place does get packed and luckily we were able to grab seats. Might need to settle for take out when packed but totally worth it. read more
