I've been here numerous times and its one of my favorite coffee shops in Union County. Anything you get off the menu, whether its coffee or food, is delicious. I feel adventurous whenever I go because I'm confident that whatever I order will be great. Today I tried the Summer Rose beverage from their seasonal menu which had Rose, pistachio, espresso and it was lovely. It had the perfect blend of all of the flavors and none were overpowering. I was looking to venture out and try something new, so I went to a park in the area and heard about this shop in the next town over from it. I had ordered a Lavender White Mocha which tasted kind of like a light lavender flavored cappuccino. In my mind, I was expecting a little more of a chocolate taste but maybe it got diluted since a white coffee should have a lot of milk. As a coffee it was very calm and tasted good, very nice to sip. But I may have been expecting to taste more of what is in the name. I also had The Bell. The warm brie cheese felt like it just melted in your mouth. there was a type of light jam smeared on and in the sandwich that complimented the turkey really well. Freshly made and warm. It was all around really good. It is a very pleasant experience. since I was eating in, they put the coffee in proper mugs that they just wash and reuse. The decorations had a warm industrial vibe to it. Like modern references but not flashy. One of their, lets say shrines, was a bunch of popular couples from TV shows and movies that people may know. It was next to a big open tree art piece. So its not always going together but didn't feel out of place. The music was pleasant and not loud to the point where you couldn't talk to a companion. The shop is along a busy street but they actually have a free parking lot in the next block over. It is certainly going in my list of shops to bring others too. I got a too good to go box from Halo Roasters, and was given a box of possibly the worst donuts I've ever had. The coffee cake and muffin were no better. My daughter had a nibble and spit her bite out. I took a bite- no. Too embarrassing to even give away to a neighbor or friend.. these are abysmal. This place is awesome! A hip coffee shop straight out of the city with New Jersey flair (and more space!). The staff is very nice and accommodating. The drinks are amazing - I've only had the coffee drinks, but they have other things too (I.e. matcha, tea, etc). The Toasted Toffee Latte is a perennial favorite if I'm looking for something sweet. Laidback local coffeeshop, which has a bit of a funky, hipster vibe. I love that they have an extensive drink menu, as well as a variety of breakfast and lunch foods. During my most recent visit, they were offering a special Icelandic hot dog on the menu (weekends only), which seemed so fun! My husband and I tried their signature drinks lavender spiced latte and golden mocha, and asked for both to be less sweet, which turned out great for us. The golden mocha is slightly bitter from the turmeric but was nicely balanced with the mocha. Very warming and my husband mentioned it almost felt healthy from the turmeric. Service is wonderful and the location is great. There is a parking lot and street parking. The space is large and inviting with a lot of character. I've only had their white chocolate matcha and a crumb cake. The crumb cake was so tasty but the matcha had little matcha or white chocolate taste. For me it was a little watered down in comparison to other cafes I've recently tried but the pricing is also a lot better than the other places as well. One of my favorite coffee spots in NJ! Their food and lattes both are consistently delicious. I usually order the honey bee latte with oat milk, and for food I love the Bell panini or the breakfast tacos. Service is always friendly and quick! I thought this place would be better than it was sadly. I got the white chocolate matcha (iced) and the chicken salad sandwich (add avo). Both were super expensive and they were out of croissants (what it usually comes on) so they put on their sourdough but the bread was not a move at all and it fell short. I felt like there was no chicken in the chicken salad either - it was all grapes & walnuts it seems. It also really lacked flavor. I needed a place to work and wanted to support a local business so I stopped here on a whim. Plenty of outlets and seating. There was a free parking lot in the back and a back door entrance for easy access. I really enjoyed the rose chai latte with almond milk. It had just the right amount of sweetness and got me excited to try other drinks on the menu. I also had a croissant with cream cheese and honestly I should've left off the cream cheese because the croissant was perfect by itself. I originally wanted a bagel, but they ran out. There were some tasty looking pastries as well. The drink and food were brought over to my table. I didn't have to wait long even though it got pretty busy. Came here for coffee and brunch around noon and the place was pretty full. It's your normal counter style coffee shop except the food is made to order and brought out to you. For coffee we ordered the golden mocha latte and the blue lavender latte. For food we ordered the halo breakfast wrap, the yogurt parfait and the crumb cake. Both lattes were unique and we were happy we tried them. The golden mocha latte had a strong turmeric spice flavor that was balanced with the mocha, honey and milk. The only issue with this was that the turmeric and other spice powders didn't dissolve well and there was a layer of powder that settled at the bottom. The blue lavender latte was very lavender forward but well balanced with the sweetness of the vanilla. This was a good option if you're looking for something uncaffeinated and unique. The halo breakfast wrap had all the components that I crave in a full breakfast...eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes and carbs. It was stuffed with eggs, honey ham, American cheese, hash browns and a sriracha aioli. The only thing I would've wish they did with the wrap was make the hash browns crispy to add a crunchy aspect to the wrap. The yogurt parfait was filled to the top of the bowl with yogurt, berries, granola and drizzled with honey. It was a textbook yogurt parfait. For dessert we got the crumb cake and it was one of the best crumb cakes I've had on a while. The cake itself was super moist while the crumb was crunchy without being overly sweet like most crumbs. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in the area to try other coffees and breakfast items and to definitely order the crumb cake again. read more

Perfectly made. $7.50. Also pricey for 16oz. But it was good. Would get again. The crumb cake.... Oh my goodness. Best I've had thus far. It was perfectly made, full of flavor. After a red eye flight and being jet lagged; needless to say, I needed coffee really badly. And I'm so happy I landed here. It's about 80F right now with some humidity at 930am. Too early for a cold brew and stomach too empty to just only have coffee alone. So, I follow my helper's advice and chose French toast and a coffee beverage of my choice. My default order is usually a cortado if I want espresso or a cold brew. Today I chose cortado and it was the best decision I've made so far (aside from choosing to come here for brunch). Their espresso is just WOW. I've had a lot of espresso lately and it seems like every espresso I've been trying recently are all blending together; nothing stands out. But this one just WOW. You can really taste the notes of the beans, the shot is pulled just right with the crèma, and when I drank it, it was like velvet. The espresso coats the mouth well, with little to no hint of bitterness from the beans itself. It's absolutely delectable. The blueberry French toast, which is only available on the weekends is totally worth it for those who likes fluffy, buttery, sugar crusted edge with no shortage of blueberries all throughout the French toast topped with fresh blueberries. I thought maybe the French toasts would be overwhelming, i but it wasn't. It was perfectly fantastic! Just beware, these French toast are thicc cut; as a consumer, not complaining if I get a bigger bang for my buck. Can't wait to come back and try something else next! read more

Great spot! I was happy to see that people were actually hanging out, not just stopping in to grab coffee and go. Really conveniently located between the middle and high schools (be careful not to come right when the schools let out if you don't want to deal with the crowds). Morning i got the avocado toast and turkey back overall was ok and decent experience. I got a lavender spice latte which was good. For lunch I got the chicken burger. I didn't like it. The inside was pink, and it didn't taste good, so I just ended up throwing most of it away. I got a lemonade chiller with it which was ok. As I was cleaning up to leave I approached the counter to ask where to put my dirty dishes as I seen a sign that said don't put dirty dishes here (on counter) before I can get my full question put the guy upfront in the white shirt (pictures) just rudely pointed in a direction opposite of the cafe. He didn't say a word ans barely turned. So I had to go look for where in which it was not clearly labeled either (pictured) to place my items. The location isn't the issue it was his rude non character response of rudely just pointing mid sentence and not saying a word. Review is a combo of my experience for this visit. Not to take away from anything of my previous review and experience. Today I decided to work from here.
