We started off with some iced drinks: chai lattes with oat milk (amazing!), caramel lattes that weren't overly sweet, and an iced mocha that was also really good. We ordered sandwiches/burgers and shared a stack of pancakes. The food was 10/10. You definitely get what you pay for. The pancakes are a must! I know the spot is new, but I really appreciated how clean it was. The ambiance and service was bright, fresh, and inviting--everything felt and tasted so fresh. Had such a great experience. Went with some friends for a late breakfast and it was a great choice. This new opened restaurant was one I will be visiting more often. I ordered the short ribs hash & eggs and my friends ordered the corner haus deluxe. My dish was fantastic, the short ribs were super tender and the added potatoes added that extra flavor! I also ordered the roof awakening which had beets, oranges, apples and lemon and it was so refreshing. You can't skip out on their bakery section as well. The food was for the price a little less quality than a diner. Lukewarm coffee, undercooked, pancakes, and cold French toast. We needed to find a place for lunch before our flight from EWR and thought this restaurant looked cute. It exceeded our expectations! The food is exceptional (the grilled chicken club was so light it was like eating a cloud!). The service was fantastic across the board. Fabulous is all I (we) can say about the this diamond in the rough that we stumbled upon today, Sunday, 11.09.2025. It was well worth it. The vibe of the restaurant is awesome, so calm and relaxing. Rick, the owner, along with his wife, Valeria, were able to accommodate our party of seven without hesitation or wait. I literally found this jewel by happenstance when our first choice in Elizabeth, which came a 4.8 rating, did not fit the bill for our party. Let's talk food, Chef Christopher D., did not let us down. Our selections: the Shaved Steak Sandwich (5 Stars), the Maple Bourbon pancakes with bourbon syrup and cinnamon butter (another 5 stars), Eggs with Swiss Cheese, Ham Bacon, and the Bacon Onion Smash burger, were all PHENOMENAL!!! Basically, we were all humming and licking our fingers during the meal, and cannot stop talking about our food selection after leaving. These items along with the drink options of Nutella Cappuccino, Dulce Cafe, Clean Sweep were surprisingly pleasant spins on routine beverages. The desserts - oh what a delight! I highly recommend the cheesecake egg rolls, house made churros, and the carrot cake bread, all of which we shared. By the way, almost all breads and bakery items are prepared on site. Again, Kudos to Rick and Valeria and Team. We have already informed Rick, that we'll be back with another group of family and friends. t is not just any Corner Haus We discovered a corner of delicious paradise while we were up north. We moved to southwest jersey over ten years ago. During a trip to Elizabeth, we came across a new and delightful-fully delicious restaurant for lunch. (We remembered the building as Dairy Queen. Upon entering the decor is amazing but the food even more so. There is an open kitchen and everything is pristine. We ordered the steak salad and a Cuban sandwich both were perfectly pleasing with ice tea. This was followed with Bomboloni - Italian Doughnuts served with a strawberry and cream sauce and two Americano coffees. We brought theee perfect Cranberry orange scones home. This entire meal was a sensory explosion and one bite was better than the bite before. The chef and pastry chef are phenomenal. We will definitely go back for the breakfast menu when we are up north. read more

As soon as you walk in, staff greets you and welcomes you. They accommodated all 9 of us as our family got together to spend breakfast together after a long week at work to celebrate my sisters' birthday. The restaurant is spacious, has an open concept, very nice simple decor. Our server Sebastian was very attentive the whole time, always had a smile in his face despite the multiple tables he was assigned to. In fact, he even went out to the parking lot to take our picture as we hung around after breakfast. Breakfast menu and lunch menu were both available - options were good, vegetarian roasted vegetable bowl was very good, according g to my cousin. Others got omelets and burgers.
