Service and ambiance is top tier. However, steak and eggs were very bland. Home fries also lacked flavor. BUT the cheddar Scallion biscuit is to die for! The Philly rolls were decent. The mix of the sauces on the plate was interestingly good. read more

The ambiance at this place is gorgeous. It's very modern and cutesy. The service was good and the food was just what I needed. I had the corner haus deluxe and a root awakening. I'll return for sure to try more of the menu. read more

This place was so cute! We went during lunch and were seated quickly. Our server was very nice and super helpful when it came to picking an item. My friend loved her burger, the bowl was just okay for me, but the latte was amazing! Overall, it was a great experience and I'd definitely come back. read more

I just looked up breakfast places real quick on our way out the door from our Airbnb. This one popped up. UPON arrival I learned they mostly take reservations. But they accommodated us anyway and were so sweet and helpful. The food was incredible. Even my pickiest eater was so happy! Thank you! read more

The BEC sandwich was delicious, as was the coffee. Service was great, but really: a 10:30 am DJ? The music was so loud the waiter mis-heard our order, and we couldn't even have a conversation. read more

We started off with some iced drinks: chai lattes with oat milk (amazing!), caramel lattes that weren't overly sweet, and an iced mocha that was also really good. We ordered sandwiches/burgers and shared a stack of pancakes. The food was 10/10. You definitely get what you pay for. The pancakes are a must! I know the spot is new, but I really appreciated how clean it was. The ambiance and service was bright, fresh, and inviting--everything felt and tasted so fresh. It was definitely sad to see Magic Fountain but I'm really happy it turned into such a great spot. read more

Had such a great experience. Went with some friends for a late breakfast and it was a great choice. This new opened restaurant was one I will be visiting more often. I ordered the short ribs hash & eggs and my friends ordered the corner haus deluxe. My dish was fantastic, the short ribs were super tender and the added potatoes added that extra flavor! I also ordered the roof awakening which had beets, oranges, apples and lemon and it was so refreshing. You can't skip out on their bakery section as well. The ambiance was calm, location was spacious and clean and staff was very helpful and welcoming. They also have parking in the back. Thank you for the experience! read more

Unfortunately, I was taught that if you have nothing to say good, not say much. I find that the place is outstanding in space and the services really on top of game .but that's where it stops. The food was for the price a little less quality than a diner. Lukewarm coffee, undercooked, pancakes, and cold French toast. In all honesty, I wish them the best of luck, the food prepares need to be more in tuned with delivering proper cooked and warmer food . read more

Amazing experience overall! The food, ambiance, and customer service were excellent. Everything we ordered was great - two eggs breakfast, grandma's french toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, and caramel latte. All ingredients were fresh. I regret not taking any pics! The grandma's french toast was delicious and reminded us of a pound cake. Lastly, the owner checked on us frequently and was very welcoming which was nice. read more

Fabulous is all I (we) can say about the this diamond in the rough that we stumbled upon today, Sunday, 11.09.2025. It was well worth it. The vibe of the restaurant is awesome, so calm and relaxing. Rick, the owner, along with his wife, Valeria, were able to accommodate our party of seven without hesitation or wait. I literally found this jewel by happenstance when our first choice in Elizabeth, which came a 4.8 rating, did not fit the bill for our party. Let's talk food, Chef Christopher D., did not let us down. Our selections: the Shaved Steak Sandwich (5 Stars), the Maple Bourbon pancakes with bourbon syrup and cinnamon butter (another 5 stars), Eggs with Swiss Cheese, Ham Bacon, and the Bacon Onion Smash burger, were all PHENOMENAL!!! Basically, we were all humming and licking our fingers during the meal, and cannot stop talking about our food selection after leaving. These items along with the drink options of Nutella Cappuccino, Dulce Cafe, Clean Sweep were surprisingly pleasant spins on routine beverages. The desserts - oh what a delight! I highly recommend the cheesecake egg rolls, house made churros, and the carrot cake bread, all of which we shared. By the way, almost all breads and bakery items are prepared on site. Again, Kudos to Rick and Valeria and Team. We have already informed Rick, that we'll be back with another group of family and friends. Congratulations to The Corner Haus which opened 3 to 4 months ago. May they have the success of longevity and continue creating wonderful dining options. read more

Food is good, fresh! Scallion biscuit is good- ribeye hash is good! Americano coffee delish!! Service was on point!

Hidden gem, and on my list to come back before future flights out of Newark. Sofia S was on her "A" game and the food was well prepared. Their Americano was outstanding and they frothed the milk and brought to me to add to the coffee. read more

We needed to find a place for lunch before our flight from EWR and thought this restaurant looked cute. It exceeded our expectations! The food is exceptional (the grilled chicken club was so light it was like eating a cloud!). The service was fantastic across the board. Even the restrooms were immaculately decorated like they were in a high-end hotel. My only regret is that we don't live in the area and therefore don't have many opportunities to return. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by during a day of running errands, and it was a great find! I ordered the roasted veggie bowl, which was so filling with perfectly roasted vegetables. I ordered take out from here and service was impeccable. Extremely nice staff and amazing atmosphere. I ordered their corner haus deluxe which comes with eggs, potato, choice of meat, and toast as well as their orange juice. Food is pretty good overall but I wish the potatoes were more seasoned. t is not just any Corner Haus We discovered a corner of delicious paradise while we were up north. We moved to southwest jersey over ten years ago. During a trip to Elizabeth, we came across a new and delightful-fully delicious restaurant for lunch. (We remembered the building as Dairy Queen. Upon entering the decor is amazing but the food even more so. There is an open kitchen and everything is pristine. We ordered the steak salad and a Cuban sandwich both were perfectly pleasing with ice tea. This was followed with Bomboloni - Italian Doughnuts served with a strawberry and cream sauce and two Americano coffees. We brought theee perfect Cranberry orange scones home. This entire meal was a sensory explosion and one bite was better than the bite before. The chef and pastry chef are phenomenal. We will definitely go back for the breakfast menu when we are up north. read more

Spot is very nice, food is excellent, and service is exceptional. Definitely will be back.

As soon as you walk in, staff greets you and welcomes you. They accommodated all 9 of us as our family got together to spend breakfast together after a long week at work to celebrate my sisters' birthday. The restaurant is spacious, has an open concept, very nice simple decor. Our server Sebastian was very attentive the whole time, always had a smile in his face despite the multiple tables he was assigned to. In fact, he even went out to the parking lot to take our picture as we hung around after breakfast. Breakfast menu and lunch menu were both available - options were good, vegetarian roasted vegetable bowl was very good, according g to my cousin. Others got omelets and burgers. The blueberry Challah French toast was very good. Drinks were good too, Drip coffee refill was free. Bathroom is clean, On the way out, stopped by the Bakery where my cousin ordered different baked goods, we tried the cookies while hanging out at the parking lot, delicious. Thank you for a Great Saturday morning breakfast. read more
