Entrana con Camarones Entrana a la Parrilla Bandeja Paisa
Christina S.

Had an amazing time here for my dad's 87th birthday. They accommodated our party of 12. All of the food was great, except for the steak of the bandeja paisa. I know that dish generally does not come with the best cut of steak/meat, but this one really was not great. Dry, no flavor. Next time, I will get the entraña. That said, our entire group of family and friends were thrilled with the experience, service, drinks and food. They also had beautiful live music playing with a singer. It was fantastic. Would return to try the entraña and their bakery. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for some brunch. Great ambiance. Gives Encanto vibes which I love. So much color and life! Bakery is on one side. The other side is the restaurant. A lot of places for photos. Service was great. Food was amazing. Passion fruit margarita was delicious. Espresso Martini was ok, I love how the server gave me some magnolia sweetener to top off the martini. Food came out hot and amazing. Read that there's two locations, this is the original. Def a must when coming to Elizabeth.

So yes there is a language barrier but cmon it's 2025 and the menu has pictures. Food was good. It was a very large portion and PE ding your appetite can be easily shared. I only wish there would have been a beer menu to go with it. It's a small restaurant. Looks like to be a lot of locals. I doubt I'll be in Elizabeth anytime soon but I would love to try a couple more things on the menu.

Decor is adorable!

What a treat in a lively and bustling Latin neighborhood! The empanadas are AMAZING and the accompanying salsa is to die for. I only paid $2 for the most beautiful cup of coffee in America! Breakfast was huevos rancheros and was enough to feed two people. Side of potatoes and arepa with cheese ----- yummy!! Service was great - with several friendly staff checking on us throughout the meal. Decor is adorable and bright. It took a while to find parking but I am so glad we persisted and visited this gem.

This was my first visit without knowing of the place. The service was amazing as our servers assured we were comfortable and received everything we've wanted. I was very amazed at the fact that they offer lemon juice as an option to add to your water instead of just lemon slices. The pollo encebollado was amazing! Very flavorful with a perfect amount of onions. The fried yuca was so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The frijoles are with every scoop! So flavorful and amazing to eat just alone.

I had the mini empanadas at a party and craved them so much HAD to seek them out! First off, parking is crazy so come with patience. Second, there are two different doors/sections but I eventually ended up where I wanted to be. In the middle, it's decorated so colorfully, traditionally, and FUN that it's definitely social media worthy. Third, there MAY be a language barrier but the servers are so incredibly helpful and sweet that you are at ease. Fourth, the menu is extensive. Luckily, I knew what I wanted so I didn't entertain the options and get confused. Prices are reasonable. Place is clean. Presentation is top-notch. Service is stellar. But my fifth and final comment which I consider a Pro-tip: get the green sauce. It's AMAZING!

Stopped by for lunch and wasn't that hungry but I ate half of my meal. I got the shredded chicken and rice and yuca fries as my side. The server didn't speak English that well but she understood us enough and we just pointed at the menu, but that's how you know it's legit! My friend wasn't kiddinng when he said that they're big portions. I easily got 2 meals out of the dish. I was getting full but it tasted so good I kept eating as much as I could. Plentiful of chicken and veggies mixed in with great flavors. Sadly they only gave me 4 pieces of yuca fries which were delicious, fluffy and crisped. Everyone else had big portions too. I'd definitely comeback and try their other dishes and baked goods. Good price for the portions! When you first walk in you will see their bakery then they take you into the dining area. Loved how they decorated with all the cool artwork and decorations.

Colombian delight in the heart of Elizabeth, NJ (Morris AVE) amazing empanadas. Crispy meaty turnover that will spike your senses the moment you take your first bite. The pan de bono are puffy warm clouds that will captivate your taste buds and keep wanting more with either coffee and or tea! Excellent staff and very attentive when ordering or with any concerns you may encounter with the menu. The Colombian decor and music transports you to our southern hemisphere. The bathroom decor OMG at another level. The bi

So I was very apprehensive to go to this location, especially because of some of the reviews that…read morespoke about ICE and I in no way wanted to deal with any shenanigans on our trip to New Jersey, but I took the risk anyway. They would have to take the whole restaurant because that's all there was there was Latinos maybe a small handful of Caucasians. This place was pretty packed on Friday with a DJ and karaoke but it's big enough that we didn't have to wait when we got there. When I say this food was amazing, I will have to say that it is the juiciest meat all across the board, the ribs, the beef, the pork, you name it and big portions of food. We all had an amazing time and left with leftovers that I was able to cook the next day and it tasted still as juicy and tender. I'm definitely looking forward to going back to New Jersey and going back to have some food!!!! Go Colombia

The place is massive, so I can't imagine there's usually much of a wait to be seated. Huge screen was playing soccer games and this place is definitely going to be packed during the World Cup. We ordered a couple of drinks and honestly they felt more watered down than anything else -- not really worth the price. The appetizers were good, but the service was lacking. We couldn't find anyone to bring us plates and it took so long that our entrees arrived before we even started the apps. The entrees themselves were good though -- generous portions and solid flavor. When the check came, I was disappointed to see a mandatory 20% gratuity included, especially since the service definitely didn't feel worth 20%, and we were only a party of four. Overall, it's pretty pricey as well. I might come back for the ambience and the food, but I won't exactly be running back.

So they always have amazing soups. Lots of creams (cream of sancocho, cream of broccoli, cream of…read morecarrot) delicious! I pair it with cheese bread and have them heat it up for me. They have a steak that has a strip of fat on it I like to pair it with papas criollas which are little baked yellow potatoes. My man is not a fan of the steak however and I'm not a fan of the potato salad. The steak comes out on a skillet so if you like your meat medium, ask for it med rare because it will continue to cook on the hot skillet. They always have daily specials which are decent for about $8 you get a soup, meat, a salad (potato, green, or beet) and a side (rice, plantains, tostones, etc.) beans are not included however which I think should be. If you dine in go to the bar side it's a lot nicer and a better atmosphere.

Second time around, the lady asked if we could wait en ocho minutos for fresh ones. Of course! These fried empanadas boast a crispy masarepa with a nice bite, while the beef and potato filling was delicious and generous enough. Drop some salsa verde to get a boost of flavor, but I also like it spicy, so I added the red sauce at the same time. These sauces may be the reason I went back. While waiting, I was eyeing their doughnut called Churros Agruipe. Now I am regretting not trying it; it's killing me. So I must go back again.
