Came here for my mother's bday meal. She loves noches and this was the closest location during our errands. We usually go to the one by teterboro which is my fav location. Pretty busy and we were seated on the 2nd floor. Upon entering , it looked like a mini banquet hall, everything was outdated and it didnt feel like I was actually in a restaurant. They had live music. Pretty loud for my taste. But hey! Other ppl enjoyed screaming and singing at the top of their lungs while having a meal. I never had this experience at other locations. Anyways onto the meals. We ordered the empanadas, calamari, and tostones mixtos for appetizers. Everyone liked their apps and my parents enjoyed the calamari bc the sauce was spicy. For entrees i shared w my husband and he got the tilapia in red sauce, my kid got the chicken tenders and fries, and my parents got a fried red snapper to share. My husband didnt like the meal and barely touched it, so then i didnt want it. My kid ate half of his food, and my parents ate the whole fish but it didnt look as crispy as it normally is in other locations. We also waited nearly 30 mins for our entrees and this is also a never in other locations. The mango and passion fruit smoothies were good. This location is our absolute favorite Noches De Colombia. The service and food are always on point. The restaurant is decorated for Valentine's Day and it's cute. I usually order out to bring a couple of plates to share with my family, but the portions are huge so we can probably be fine with just one. I've been to their other chain locations and must say this was just as good! Arrived about 5pm. This seemed to be the best time as the place seemed to have been a tad empty. As we entered to meet the rest of our party the waitress gave us just enough time to review the menu and place our drinks and order. As we left the place began to fill up where I saw ppl leaving due to the extensive wait. The food was superb. We ordered 2 salads. One consisted of just steak and the other steak, chicken and shrimps. The others ordered chicken, fries and a fish with all meats. Although we weren't asked how we wanted the meats cooked, everything came out juicy and tasteful. To leave I ordered empanadas and those were just as delicious. Reheated some the next day and once again delicious! My 2 salads, passion fruit drink, soda and 8 empanadas was about $60 including tip. Complimentary valet parking was available upon arrival. I have eaten several times at the port chest and englewood location Everything has always been outstanding! I raved to my best friend so we decided to go to the Elizabeth location. The food was HORRIBLE! COLD! NO FLAVOR! the pastelito appetizers were disgusting!! Clearly not made fresh they were frozen store bought! First time here and the waitress we had ruined it. I would not be returning. Food was great. Portions were phenomenal along with the pricing. However, my daughter ordered a Jugo de Parcha and it had a bug in it. The waitress did not want to bring my daughter a new one because she had drank from it without realizing there was a bug. Came here with my husband. The portions were pretty good. Everything is outdoors and the restaurant is definitely popular as there was a wait. I was told it was a 35 minute wait but it ended up only being 20 minutes. They have valet parking which is a plus since parking is hard around there however it doesn't make much sense to do valet during covid times. Our food came out super fast which made me feel like it might've been pre made. My yuca fries were not fried but other than that the food was alright. They don't have a water filtering system so if you want to drink water you need to get a bottle. On the way out I made sure to get pan de queso! LOVE COLOMBIAN BREAD! After a friends recommendation, we decided to try Noches de Colombia in Elizabeth, NJ. The atmosphere was very lively and seemed like a popular dining spot for families. There's TV's throughout the establishment, giving it a sports bar feel. We ordered the whole fried snapper, it was accompanied by flavorful, fluffy white rice, tostones and fried plaintains. The fish was well seasoned and cooked just right. It was crunchy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The various sauces provided, were tasty and were good on the fish and tostones. What an AMAZING experience!!! I had a delicious meal and I had so much fun. What more can you ask for? I went with a party of 6 on a Saturday night around 8:00pm and waited about 1 hour. We didn't mind because we stopped by the bar and had a few drinks before we were called to be seated. When we were called, we were told to go upstairs. We were greeted as soon as we took our seats. There was a lot of entertainment including a singer and a man that played a trumpet and clarinet. Everyone at the table loved their food. When we were finished eating, we stayed longer to enjoy the show. We were not rushed to leave, rather welcomed to stay. A few things to be aware of: 1. We had sweet cheesy bread for an appetizer (soooo yummy), fried snapper, sweet plantains, with potatoes. Also, Mar y Mar fish, topped with shrimp, rice and sweet plantains. Everything was very good BUT the weak mango sangria. We asked for the half picture. Probably should of asked for some shots and poured it in (kidding)! The experience here is always pleasurable! I was deployed to EWR for 3 months during that time I decided I wanted to try many different spots why in Jersey. Junior the maintenance guy along with veronica a bartender at the Country Cafe told me about Noches de Columbia for authentic Columbian food. My co worker Megan and I arrived to Noches around 2:30pm. The resturant environment was very relaxing our waiter came promptly to get our order but he also was great at helping us make the right choices off the menu. We had shrimp in garlic sauce as our starter very tasty and if you love garlic it eat all points . I ordered the grilled flank steak with white rice and beans with sweet plantain. Megan had ordered the same but she ate all her dish and I had more then enough for a doggy bag. The steak was grilled medium and marinated to perfection and I had a chimichurri sauce that I could drink from a bottle it was soooooo damn good. The beans with the white rice banging. I can eat beans with rice everyday. The food was ok. The reason I am leaving a poor review is because of the service. The waiter had blatantly knocked over one of the drinks my friend had ordered onto me completely ruining my bag and my shoes (pictured within the review). Once we had notified the wait staff they had called over the manager to speak with us. My friend had explained it to the manager of what had happened nicely. The manager did not let anyone including myself speak afterwards. He did not ask anymore questions all he did was give a fake smile and repeat that the drink was going to be comped. Had they handled the situation differently I would have been ok with the comped drink but considering the lack of empathy and hospitality I will have to say that I am in shock of the poor service and complete disregard of the customer. read more

Not sure why this restaurant doesn't have more stars, I am super surprised! We had a really good time during our visit to Noches de Colombia. We ordered the Beef Empanaditas, Mar Y Tierra, Bistec a Caballo, and the Noches Sangria. Beef empanaditas - These come with a lot in an order but they are small. Wish they were served with salsas but they were good nonetheless. Mar Y Tierra - Steak and shrimp dish served with 1 side. We chose fries. Steak was cooked well (we asked for Medium rare) and the fried shrimp was good too. Fries were normal. Bistec a Caballo - Thin steaks served with tomato sauce (tasted like salsa) and eggs. Steak was cooked fine, there was a big chance that it could've been overcooked since they were so thin but they turned out good. Tomato sauce was a good addition but the eggs were overcooked. All in all, it was okay for me since I don't mind over well eggs. It was served with white rice and sweet plantains. White rice was seasoned well and the plantains were amazing! Noches Sangria - Star of the show. Really good and for a good price! On a Friday night, we were expecting to wait for a long time considering how many people we saw going in and out. We only had to wait about 10 minutes before they sat us is their upstairs area that looks like a banquet hall. It is pretty loud in there but with all of the families and celebrations, it felt like it had to be! There was also live music and their birthday celebrations were very entertaining. The only thing about this place is that their parking lot is valet only. If you are someone like me who doesn't like valeting their car, you'll need to find street parking in the surrounding area. read more

After visiting the Hackensack restaurant this weekend for a birthday dinner I decided to go to the Elizabeth location for lunch.A young man who happened to be cleaning the tables came over to assist me with my lunch order. While being helped the women at the counter decided to chime in. I realized since I was not Hispanic and didnt speak Spanish they weren't interested in taking my order. Came here last night for my birthday and had a great time. I wish I would have gotten my waitresses name she was too cute and so sweet. Cleanliness: My fork had food stains on it which grossed me out and my knife had some burn marks it looked like. Other than that everything was pretty clean and even the bathroom was really nice and clean. Food: I ordered the skirt steak and shrimp with sweet plantain. The only thing I didn't like was the steak the meat quality wasn't good to me. I didn't enjoy it and it was the main course. The shrimp and plantain however were really good! Drinks: I had the BEST margarita of my life here. Their coconut margarita didn't even taste like coconut but it was AMAZING. The mango margarita was also really good. And for $9 you can't beat those prices they were full of lq too which is always good! They sang happy birthday to me with a live band and I thought that was really cute. Came here with a friend had an amazing time. We went straight to the bar since we both needed a drink. The bar was nice and the seat were comfortable. The bar was neat and clean. They have so many servers and a few sections with different selections of food. The bathroom was very clean. They have a DJ booth. They have a juice bar. Many tables in the front of the place outside as well as well as free valer parking. Very professional valet workers. The place is huge and it's very welcoming from outside. The managers were very friendly. The drinks were on point. The music was very low. Wish they would of put the music a bit higher but it's still a 5 star rating.
