The portions here are true to Dominican style. Hearty and plentiful. The food is always delicious and fast to prepare. They have takeout and delivery options available. Place was not in the best kept place when it comes to hygiene overall. Haven't been there for a while, but went today for a small lunch I was in the mood for. In a small to-go plate, I ordered spoon and a half of rice, some green beans and 3 medium pcs of oxtail. Mature lady tells me lunch was $18 dollars. Didn't want to leave the food since it was already served, but I told her that's overkill for where your business is. Long story short, place is over priced and food quality in a scale of 1-10 is a 4! Be careful. I've been living in Union County for a year. Ow and I finally found a good Dominican restaurant. The pernil was tender and flavorful, the chicharron de Pollo was on point as well. Ordered take out from here through the phone and they were super quick. Their food tasted really good. We had the black bean rice and we love the hint of lime flavoring. We ordered the Saturday Deep Fried Pork while it tasted good, it was quite dry and chewy...like jerky. So we may not go for this dish again. They also are opened for breakfast.. I can say, they have some of the best Mondongo I have ever had..
