In fact, I felt like mine was *too* fresh - sounds odd, I know! But the icing seemed like it hadn't really "set" and overall, the cake had a very noticeable citrus flavor (it was dulce de Leche). The next day, though, it was *perfect*. The flavors had mellowed out and the icing had a very good consistency. The cake was reasonably priced - $17 plus tax for a cake that served about 6-7 people. I would recommend this place for those in central NJ who are looking to purchase Dominican cakes. My favorite Dominican cake is still in Jersey City but this is a solid option for Union County.
