Good, local spot with very nice staff. Easy parking and large menu variety - I would absolutely recommend this spot. Food was very good and ambience is cozy but not stuffy. Thanks for a great lunch!

It had been a while since I last visited, but there was definitely a change in owners, with a newly designed interior, and menu. We came on a Sunday morning which was BUSY... typical of other brunch spots in this area. Disappointed that other customers were seated before us (party of 2), even though they say that they didn't take reservations. After about a 40 min wait, we were seated. - Chicken Pasta (3/5): was craving more of a "lunchy" food, so ordered pasta. A bit one dimensional in flavor and too rich. The chicken cost extra. Wish there was some acidity to the dish to cut through the cheese. Staff were kind enough to give me hot sauce to complement it. - California Burger (4.5/5): my friend ordered this one, and she enjoyed it. She loved the fresh avocado and the side salad A good staple in the Edison area- just be careful of the long wait and the breakfast foods look promising. Ty for reading :^)

Hard to say no to this place. Really good. The food menu is generous, with plenty of options to choose from. Everything is done very nicel, the presentation is great, and everything feels clean and well kept. The space itself is nice and roomy, with plenty of tables. The staff is friendly, and the wait time was quick. I had a sandwich as well as the omelette. The cappuccino was great, and so was the cortado. I recommend this place many times over. Great spot for breakfast or brunch.

First time to this cafe .. seriously - from outside it doesn't look like a cafe . I thought it was a car mechanic shop i would say it's a hidden gem . Good location . Right on oak tree . Lots of parking outside . The cafe looked very interesting and. Ice ambience . Coffee tables looked very good for chitchats with friends and families . It's a bit pricey though. Ordered Nashville style burgers for about 20$ !!!! Food was awesome though ... burger was really well made and crispy . Spice level was perfect . Fries were good too ! We also ordered Bombay sandwiches and it tasted good . Bean rice salad was ok. Looked healthy .. price wise everything was expensive than normal pricing outside . Service was good . Space was a little constrained inside . Tables were close to each other and it was a noisy restaurant.. good experience overall .. 4 stars

The service was warm and efficient from the moment I walked in. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance--modern, clean, and cozy enough to linger over breakfast. There was a great selection of breakfast options, with something for everyone--from lighter choices to hearty plates. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The real standout, though, was the coffee--smooth, bold, and perfectly brewed. It's definitely a spot I'd return to for a relaxed morning meal or a casual catch-up over coffee.

We stopped by Edison Automat for a late Sunday breakfast and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ambience was relaxed, perfect for a chill afternoon meal. We tried the Smoky Tom Omelette and the Bombay Masala Omelette, and both were absolutely delicious. To drink, we had a regular coffee and an iced vanilla latte--both were excellent. Service was warm and efficient, rounding out a great experience.

Popular brunch cafe spot located in Edison with indoor and outdoor seating. From a menu ranging from American to Indian fusion food options, enjoyed the simple, classic Bombay veg sandwiches and Nescafé coffee (sweetener sits at the bottom, don't repeat my mistake and stir before drinking). The chips are not worth it but the fries are delicious. Only wish the service was a little better - while there is staff visible, only one server went table to table taking orders - making it a bit of a wait.

I got the Cobb salad, which was great (4.5/5)! There was a ton of chicken on top, and it was a big portion overall! The service was good (4/5), and the interior is also nice! They have a big menu with a lot of good looking options.

Everything has changed. New owners but it's not the same. They used to make the best London Fog. They brewed their own to make it. Now it's awful. They had a chicken bruschetta sandwich. That's gone. Might as well change the name because it isn't the same.

Great place to do work and to to have a chill lunch. They have good WiFi and outlets. The food was amazing. The servers were very attentive and the food came out quickly. I recommend their grilled sandwiches. I tried the lavender matcha. It was okay, I had to pay for a side shot of vanilla to make it sweet. The owner was there the day I went and was very welcoming.

Adorable restaurant, great menu and very good food! Great salads, good burgers! Service was a tad slow but we were in no rush. Would definitely come back!

My party of 4 visited on a Sunday around 1pm and was seated promptly. They offer a breakfast and lunch menu as well as some seasonal drinks. Although the menu says breakfast sandwiches are only served until noon, we were pleasantly surprised when the waitress told us we could still order them. We tried the Cali, Tequila Sunrise, and B. Burrito which was served with a side of with chips or salad. We also tried their Nashville Hot Chicken. We enjoyed the sandwiches and would order them again, but the breakfast burrito and chicken were just average. Overall a good breakfast/lunch spot with pretty standard offerings.

It's located in a strip mall with tons of parking spots. The barista was friendly and quickly took my order, but since he was working alone, it took quite a while to get my drink and bites. As a Matcha aficionado, I wanted to try their honey pistachio Matcha. I also ordered some mozzarella sticks and a Cortado for my husband. My drink was a tad too sweet (too much pistachio syrup), but I still liked it. Mozzarella sticks were fine. I paid about $21 for everything including tip. I like the be kind messages on the cups and the black aesthetic was pretty cool. I wouldn't mind returning to this coffee shop as it was a pleasant drive from my house. I'd like to try some other pastries and definitely will have another matcha, but will request light on the syrup!

I am usually on the hunt for a cafe where I can stay awhile and get some work done, and while this spot may not be perfect for that exact reason, I am still so happy to have this added to my list of great Metuchen spots. A coworker and I grabbed a table outside on a beautiful day, ordered some food, and while those were coming out, got to work. The waitress was lovely and got us the wifi password no problem. It worked perfectly even outside. The menu is such a wonderful mix of traditional breakfast and lunch items as well as some delicious looking, sounding (and tasting) Mexican dishes. I got the Balsamico wrap which was grilled chicken, mozzarella, roasted peppers, and sundried tomato pesto. It was DELICIOUS but much cheesier and decadent than I expected. I managed to get through half. It comes with either home fries or a salad and I of course went the home fries route. So so yummy. Those did not make it to the doggie bag.
