We really enjoyed our breakfast here. This is a very small diner with bagel and tables so fair warning. Parking is also a nightmare so be prepared. We sat at the bar since there were no tables available. We were attended promptly and our server was super nice. Both my friend and I ordered the same breakfast and we loved it. The service was quick and efficient. They also pack almost 1200 school lunches daily so it was cool to see them in action.

This place should really be a 5 star place!! Found this little spot with my hubby and omg I'm glad I did! We stopped here for breakfast and it was so worth the money! Huge portions and the atmosphere feels like being in grandmas kitchen at a family reunion. Can't wait to come back!

I had to go to the DMV nearby early in the morning so I was definitely going to treat myself to a greasy breakfast afterwards. That's when I found Sunshine Grill & Deli. I placed an order via Seamless for The Hog (pork roll, hash brown patty, egg and cheese) and it was ready for pickup before the quoted time. It was a 45 minute drive back home but it held up pretty well, and wasn't something a toaster oven couldn't fix. I opted for wheat bread (I would have wanted a roll but I was trying to be at least a LITTLE bit healthy) and it was great. The meat to cheese to egg ratio was perfect (although the wheat bread didn't hold it very well, which is usually why I get a roll - but my fault). The hash brown was a little bit lost in there because it got soggy so next time I would probably either eat it immediately, or get one on the side. Will definitely come back to try some non-breakfast items one day when I feel like I need another cheat day.

I reluctantly downgrade my rating to 4 stars because lately I've noticed a trend of my order notes either not being read or disregarded. I work from home and always place my orders on their website for convenience and speed on pickup. 3 out of 5 of my most recent visits had issues that relate to specific instructions not being adhered to. If I ask for cheddar cheese on a sandwich they give me American. If I say no marinara on sandwich, I still get it. When I ordered onion rings today they gave me waffle fries instead (but no heads up). The least they could do is call me if there's an issue making the order to my specs online, but they chose to make these decisions without involving me - the customer.

Found this gem online looking for breakfast options near our hotel. We were immediately greeted by friendly people and served good coffee (I usually hate "diner" type coffee, but this was tasty.) I ordered a pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich and my friend ordered a short stack of pancakes. Both came out quickly and the cook even called over to ask if we needed more syrup (they already had given us plenty). The portions were large and filling. We were checked in on and had coffee topped off several times. I loved that I could pay directly through my phone with the QR code. The only thing I found annoying was the "Let's Go Brandon" mask hanging up. Yes, I know every one is absolutely allowed to have their own political views, but I wish it wasn't necessary to announce in your place of business. I just want to eat and feel welcome.

Small Edison gem. You will ride right by it sitting on the corner bright yellow small building. Off street parking can get fill quickly if you come at the wrong time. The staff is welcoming and friendly. And patient while you looking at all the choices they offer. As I am looking locals enter for their usual to go. I ordered and opted to utilize the outdoor seating area with the nice early Sat breeze. I ordered the italian sausage omelet with potatoes and short stack of french toast. The portion is huge and I could not finish. The french toast was very good. The omelet was really on point. Lots of sausage and good taste. The potatoes, I had to refrain myself from eating them all. So much goodness and I wanted to eat them all at once. But to big of portion. Thanks yelp for the recommendation. Usually after trying a place in my collection I usually delete them. This place is a keepsake to return too.

We were in the area 4 days and went here twice - it was so good!!! First day we got breakfast items - very generous portions and tasty! 2nd time was for lunch. Tuna wrap and a turkey bacon wrap, again very impressed. If you order online, you get 10% off. We paid cash both times and they have another 10% off for that! Just a super small place with a counter and a few tables to eat. You can see the kitchen and watch the magic happen. Def check them out!

i love this place! perfect for brunch. i am always greeted with a warm welcome and smile from the staff; they seem eager and happy to help! and i love the cozy feel of the building in general. i feel very at home and cared for as a customer. i ordered the french toast with bacon and while it was a bit pricey, it was honestly so delicious and worth it. the hashbrowns were a part of my partner's meal.

Just got in for lunch. We ordered black bean burger, fat tony club sandwich and taco salad. Also, Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla milkshakes. Black bean burger, vegan, first time to try it. Kinda bland, I'm disappointed. Club sandwich had turkey, ham and gyro with veggies, tasty. Taco salad serving is big with fresh veggies with ground beef, delicious. We also ordered cheese fries to go, greasy but tasty. Mom and Pop owned business. Kinda tight, with five tables for dine in, and seven bar stool top counter seats. Server is helpful and nice. Separate Men and Women's bathroom. No changing table, it's tight. Open early for breakfast and lunch. Close at 4 pm, daily.

He also really enjoyed the seasonal Berry Cloud Fizz beverage. I ordered the chicken scoop that was absolutely delicious. 2 Crispy chicken breasts topped with yummy bacon jam all on top of a delicious Belgium waffle drizzled with maple mustard syrup. It was not drenched in syrup which was great, the perfect amount of sweet and salty. For our appetizers we ordered the cauli tempura with the sauce in the side as our server Mericis suggested after my concern over the spice level; and I'm glad she mentioned it because one dip into the sauce and it was not for me. She joyfully suggested other sauces (garlic mayo, aji verde & chimichurri) that were delicious but the garlic mayo was my fave. We also got the nori roll which is one of our fave apps here. The sauce drizzled on top really takes it to the next level. For drinks I ordered the seasonal dulce plantain pudding latte -- yum! Loved every bit of it, especially that it wasn't overly sweet. Our server, Mericis was great. Always attentive, patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted to try next after coming for my 3rd time, and overall great vibes. She made our experience an amazing one on top of the delicious food and drinks we had. Will definitely return! Also love they have printed menus now!

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and shown to our booth. We noticed welcome balloons throughout the dining room and quickly realized it was the diner's first day under new ownership. Normally, we have a three-month rule before trying a restaurant that's under new management, but by then we were already seated, so we decided to give it a chance. The brunch menu had everything you'd expect from a classic diner, with a few creative twists. My daughter ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over easy, home fries, and white toast. I couldn't pass up their unique take on Eggs Benedict, which featured corned beef hash instead of the traditional Canadian bacon, served with home fries. Everything arrived exactly as ordered, hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Congratulations to the new owner on opening day! We wish you nothing but success and look forward to coming back again. SO much more room to breathe. Maria's moved into the old Latin Port space at 87 Central Ave, and they've been in the new location for about two months now. You can actually walk in, have a seat, and not feel like you've accidentally walked into someone's living room. I popped in today for a quick latte to go and went with a hot Coko Loko (that's latte with coconut syrup and a lil' hint of choc). Come hungry -- the portions are generous and everything tasted fresh and made to order. I highly recommend trying their seasonal tiramisu latte (I seriously would order this everyday if I could) and their Tex-Fast Bowl which was decadently delicious. The drink was creamy with a hint of sweetness and definitely lived up to its name. If you're not a brunch lover, they also have other options like burgers, wraps, house specialties, quesadillas, and much much more! *SERVICE* Staff was friendly and welcoming, though the pace could use some improvement which I'm sure they'll figure out over time as they just recently set up in this space. We asked for anything with fish be served on a separate plate. The waiter agreed to do so. We got the teas first. They added 50% sweetness to two pots of tea without asking if we wanted the tea sweet. It was pretty much undrinkable unless you were a hummingbird. We waited over an hour for the food, with mostly undrinkable tea (though the waiter did bring a few paper cups of water), and we actually had to flag down the waiter to ask when we were going to get our food. When it came, all the salmon was intermingled with the rest of the food on the same plate. There were some cucumber sandwiches and some sliced cucumbers just sitting on the plate on no bread because it was multi-grain and had seeds, NOT NUTS! The cucumber slices were next to salmon slices, also on no bread. Unfortunately, the salmon was touching just about everything on the plate, so those of us with restrictions couldn't eat most of the meal. Not only was this disappointing, it was also dangerous for people with life threatening food allergies. All in all, it was almost 2 hours for a simple afternoon tea. The lack of regard and respect for people with life threatening allergies is a disgrace. The atmosphere is nice but the service and food were terrible. Such a disappointing experience for a couple of our group who had never experienced a formal afternoon tea, and for those of us who regularly do afternoon tea.....we're just disgusted.

Then the cocktails and app came out immediately after. Cocktails are meant to be enjoyed before your dinner, not during it. While the cocktail was fine, I wasn't interest in having it at this point.
