This place confused me a bit. Don't look for a sign on the outside of the office building they are in- you want find one. This place is set up primarily as a quick food stop for people who work in the large office building. The folks behind the counter are super sweet and take pride in their work. Between the four of us we had 2 omelette and 2 egg sandwiches with sausage. Formica tables, nice outdoor patio space. It's a home run for what it is.

Great wraps, fries, and soups. Everyday there are specials. Happy with the service and NYC deli feel.

OVERPRICED and less than decent food. They up-charge $.75 for a WRAP because the "tortilla's cost more." They will NICKEL AND DIME you.

They just want to know your order and they will get it taken care of. I saw that this bagel shop was near where I was at the time and I stopped by for a turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on an egg bagel. The register person put in my order with no fuss. I later wanted salt, pepper and ketchup as that is just the way you order the sandwich. He didn't really comment or think much of it, and just requested whoever was making it to add it. It throws me off a little that they don't converse with it, they just get down to the order. Like they have the experience where it seems normal to them to say it. Very straightforward shop. It seems like it has its regulars because the register person was checking in with some of the customers that walked in.

I liked the gooey American cheese in the sandwich. The coffee was very good! Milk and creamers in the side fridge. There was a small pastry selection on the side counter - I got the crumb cake which was excellent. The parking lot was small and full; we parked on a side street and picked up our order. No seating inside. Good value for the price.

As soon as we sat down, our server was incredibly welcoming and attentive. I asked him for a drink recommendation and told him what flavors I usually enjoy, and he immediately suggested something that ended up being absolutely perfect for me. The drink didn't take long at all to come out as well! Everyone at my table ordered burgers, and we were all impressed. The portions were generous, and the burgers were cooked just right. They were juicy, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling overly heavy. We paired them with fries and onion rings for the table, and both were sooo crispy and delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful both outside and inside. It has a really inviting vibe, and you can tell they put effort into creating a space that feels stylish but still comfortable. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxed lunch experience. While we were there, near the bar area there was a group of people celebrating something with a DJ, and the energy over there looked like so much fun!! Overall, great service, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. I'll absolutely be coming back!

I ordered eggs, bacon and a banana waffle. When you order a side of bacon they serve you six slices of bacon. (I actually asked the server if it was a side?). The banana waffles come with an entire banana sliced on it. The portions for breakfast are extremely generous! Located in Ford's, NJ on what looks like Main Street you will find Colonial Restaurant. It's mixed in among houses and shops. It's a typical NY Diner menu which I love. When you walk in there is counter seating the length of the restaurant on the right and a line of booths that seat 4 on the left. If you go with a large party you will have to sit separately. If you're in the area I definitely recommend Colonial Restaurant for breakfast!

With its extensive menu, long hours, and comfort-food focus, it has been a go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for generations. Whenever I travel through New Jersey, I always make a point of having at least one Taylor Ham (the local slang for any brand of pork roll) meal. I especially love how Jersey diners serve it with sunny-side-up eggs laid right on top. I had visited my hometown the day before and was spending part of Sunday in Woodbridge before heading out later in the day. I decided to stop in for a late-morning Sunday breakfast. It had snowed the night before, but the streets and parking lot were well cleared. I walked in and sat at the counter. The waitress poured excellent diner coffee and took my order. Before long, my breakfast arrived: sunny-side-up eggs over pork roll, a generous portion of home fries, and rye toast. Everything was delicious and exactly what I was hoping for. The atmosphere is pure Jersey diner. There's even a celebrity photo gallery near the cash register area--and yes, you still get your check at the counter or table and pay on your way out. It was an excellent meal enjoyed on a crisp winter day in a classic New Jersey town with late-Victorian and early-20th-century railroad roots. A great meal on a great day.

We both decided to order the special, Meat Lasagna Parmigiana with a tall glass of iced Tea. Minutes after the order was taken we were told the kitchen only had one order of the special left. I asked if I could have the Chicken Parm at he same price as the spacial and our waitress said she would ask. An answer of no was given by Adele the assistant manager. From where I was sitting, I could see that she didn't even look at the menu to see what the price difference was. Our waitress had returned with another menu and said I give you a few minutes. It took me no time to find that the price of the Chicken Parm was the same price as the special. Need I say any more about customer service or courtesy or the laziness of Adele at the Reo? Our waitress on the other hand was great as are all the servers there.

I am still disappointed by the lack of response from the corporate office on this matter, but the Edison location was extremely helpful in resolving my issue. Initial review: My wife and I have been going to True Food Kitchen for a while now, and really enjoy their healthy food options, but their recent lack of customer service is very disappointing. We recently purchased a gift card for True Food Kitchen but when we had problems with it, the local restaurant wasn't able to do anything. We reached out to the company they parner with for the gift cards, who told us to reach out to corporate. I left two voicemails with True Food corporate with no response, in addition to leaving email with no response either. I would appreciate it even if they couldn't do anything that they would at least get back to us and let us know that, but nothing. I commend True Food for offering such healthy eating options for people but without good customer service, I can't see it really lasting for long.

NOTE: Be very careful about using any dining credits from Open Table here. I saved up points for like a year and got a measly $16. When deciding on which restaurant to choose for Brunch today, we noticed True Food was in the Open Table network, so I would be able to use the credit there. When we arrived the place was pretty empty. Strange for the time of day. Bad sign #1. They walked us to a large table. The table was soaking wet and the hostess laid our paper menus on the puddle of water, never acknowledging the fact that the table was wet. Bad sign #2. I used my napkin to dry off the table and asked the waiter for another. He was very cordial. It was noon on a Saturday, so we assumed they would provide us with the Brunch menu (since that is why we came) and we had to ask for it - a measly 4 items on this menu, so options were few. Bad sign #3. Our server and the taste of the food were the only positive things about this trip. At the end of the meal, I followed the Open table directions and clicked on redeem in front of the waiter. It seems a Mastercard number pops up and since the server nor the manager knew how to do the dining credit, she said it was declined and could give me a 10% discount. Our meal was only $30, maki g that like $3 I said that I had to use the dining credit here since I booked our reservation which is tied to the credit and I would lose the dining credit. The manager was very demeaning and I reminded her that I can't use this credit anywhere else and that the whole reason for choosing this restaurant today was because of the Open Table credit. She then asked me to stop yelling at her. I, at no time in this conversation, raised my voice. I just stated the fact that I will lose $16 if they don't use it here. She said I could use it elsewhere and I reiterated that was not true and asked if she could contact open table to see why it won't go through. She said no because they are a third party and it is not their responsibility. After a while back and forth on this, she then said, I told you I would take $16 off the bill so you can use that elsewhere. When I reminded her that she said only 10% before she again said to stop yelling at me and I am just trying to make you happy. My husband said, does she look happy? After that she basically kicked us out of the restaurant. I will never return to this location ever again after being treated this way, like I was some criminal trying to get over them over a lousy $16. Now I can see why, on Sunday during Brunch time, the place was practically empty. Go to Original Pancake House just up the street if you want great food and service. There will be a wait but it is worth it!
