The register person put in my order with no fuss. I later wanted salt, pepper and ketchup as that is just the way you order the sandwich. He didn't really comment or think much of it, and just requested whoever was making it to add it. It throws me off a little that they don't converse with it, they just get down to the order. Like they have the experience where it seems normal to them to say it. Very straightforward shop. It seems like it has its regulars because the register person was checking in with some of the customers that walked in.

I especially love how Jersey diners serve it with sunny-side-up eggs laid right on top. I had visited my hometown the day before and was spending part of Sunday in Woodbridge before heading out later in the day. I decided to stop in for a late-morning Sunday breakfast. It had snowed the night before, but the streets and parking lot were well cleared. I walked in and sat at the counter. The waitress poured excellent diner coffee and took my order. Before long, my breakfast arrived: sunny-side-up eggs over pork roll, a generous portion of home fries, and rye toast. Everything was delicious and exactly what I was hoping for. The atmosphere is pure Jersey diner. There's even a celebrity photo gallery near the cash register area--and yes, you still get your check at the counter or table and pay on your way out. We both decided to order the special, Meat Lasagna Parmigiana with a tall glass of iced Tea. Minutes after the order was taken we were told the kitchen only had one order of the special left. I asked if I could have the Chicken Parm at he same price as the spacial and our waitress said she would ask. An answer of no was given by Adele the assistant manager. From where I was sitting, I could see that she didn't even look at the menu to see what the price difference was. Our waitress had returned with another menu and said I give you a few minutes. It took me no time to find that the price of the Chicken Parm was the same price as the special. Need I say any more about customer service or courtesy or the laziness of Adele at the Reo? Our waitress on the other hand was great as are all the servers there.

I had booked two non refundable rooms and we were very tired after working at a family event. We were hoping to check in without fanfare as every thing was booked on line. I mentioned to Guvance we had already completed this information on line. He chastised us in front of a line of at least 6 guests who were waiting in line behind us. Guvance shouted " I can just cancel your reservation ." I'm like really for what reason because we want to get to our room. He actually did cancel my brother's room which I had initially paid for. My brother called me to say Guvance charged his credit card. We eventually got our rooms. I will never ever stay at this hotel again. Guvance is very arrogant and disrespectful.

I left two voicemails with True Food corporate with no response, in addition to leaving email with no response either. I would appreciate it even if they couldn't do anything that they would at least get back to us and let us know that, but nothing. It was noon on a Saturday, so we assumed they would provide us with the Brunch menu (since that is why we came) and we had to ask for it - a measly 4 items on this menu, so options were few. Bad sign #3. Our server and the taste of the food were the only positive things about this trip. At the end of the meal, I followed the Open table directions and clicked on redeem in front of the waiter. It seems a Mastercard number pops up and since the server nor the manager knew how to do the dining credit, she said it was declined and could give me a 10% discount. Our meal was only $30, maki g that like $3 I said that I had to use the dining credit here since I booked our reservation which is tied to the credit and I would lose the dining credit. The manager was very demeaning and I reminded her that I can't use this credit anywhere else and that the whole reason for choosing this restaurant today was because of the Open Table credit. She then asked me to stop yelling at her. I, at no time in this conversation, raised my voice. I just stated the fact that I will lose $16 if they don't use it here. She said I could use it elsewhere and I reiterated that was not true and asked if she could contact open table to see why it won't go through. She said no because they are a third party and it is not their responsibility. After a while back and forth on this, she then said, I told you I would take $16 off the bill so you can use that elsewhere. When I reminded her that she said only 10% before she again said to stop yelling at me and I am just trying to make you happy. My husband said, does she look happy? After that she basically kicked us out of the restaurant. I will never return to this location ever again after being treated this way, like I was some criminal trying to get over them over a lousy $16. Now I can see why, on Sunday during Brunch time, the place was practically empty. Go to Original Pancake House just up the street if you want great food and service. There will be a wait but it is worth it!
