I walked in after reading about the shop somewhere and on a weekend where I didn't have plans for going out. I took a moment to search through their menu, ordered, and it was ready minutes later. Very standard. People working didn't seem very chatty but it was still comfortable enough where I had no problem asking about The Ice Cream House that had some signs in the shop. Turns out the same owner owns both shops and they are across the street from each other I got a Bulletproof latte which is advertised to have been made with Kerrygold butter and organic coconut oil. Now, I have tried mixing coconut oil in my home coffee before as it gives a slight taste or aroma to each sip but I can't really get the proportion correctly and I end up using a little too much oil. But this was balanced mixed blend. I do taste hints of butter and it makes the drink itself savory where its almost indulgent to keep sipping. The theme of the shop is sort of 1960s to 1980s music vibe with photos or posters of Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, or Pink Floyd. There was music playing in the shop, maybe it was retro I'm not sure but I was unfamiliar with it and it was still pleasant.

5 stars for their mocha and vanilla lattes and americano. Full bodied and great roasted flavor that didn't fall flat with milk (almond milk $0.50) Great espresso to milk ratio, just the right amount of sweetness and mocha flavor. Right on the Clara Barton district and walkable to the Middlesex Greenway. Private parking lot and a cute outdoor space as well. They do serve hot foods, pastries and other breakfast things as well. Interior is clean and well spaced. Gray/ black and red is their theme, I usually like a cozier feel to coffee shops but this is just a personal preference. Overall great spot for coffees and lattes!

Cute little shop in Edison. Came 30 before close on Monday night and staff was great. Lots of variety and very affordable. Waters are only $1 per bottle (needed to wash down the ice cream across the street) and with 7 plus a medium iced dirty chai latte it was only $13 and change before tip. Dirty chai latte had good flavor- not too heavy (ordered with skim milk, but offer various milk and alternative options). Will be back when in the area. Definitely recommend for a friendly stop- inside and outside seating offered. Cute decor and a jukebox.

Got very excited finding a coffee house in Edison that had such high ratings. The reality is a little bit different. Walking in it does not feel like a coffee place, instead, it's more of a bodega or a 7-Eleven imitation. The refrigerators in the middle of the place did not make it warm and inviting, the wrapped muffins and cellophane and boxed up cakes look like they've been on the counter for longer than they should. The coffee is perfectly fine but not appetizing given the first impression mentioned above. They should also take the pictures off of their menu as it looks more like a diner instead of a coffee place.

Searched hi and low for a coffee shop in Edison, thank you Yelp for pointing me in this direction. Parking lot in the back and tons of street parking, also met with cute outdoor games and lots of seating with shade. Inside, there's a lot of seating, more games, puzzles, writing pads, kept the little ones busy, loveeee that for us lol. Staff was friendly and quickly took our order. Avocado toast with egg and bacon; 10/10, hands down some of the best toast I've had. Fruit was fresh, one of the kids had Nutella toast, loved, great bacon (how could it not be great lol), overall we all left satisfied. Thank you for your service's

A fabulous little spot in the heart of Edison! Great cold brew, quick and friendly baristas, and a nice array of baked goods await you as you sit amongst portraits of about very contemporary or classic musical artist that you can imagine! Take the time to soak in some Jersey sunshine on the patio. Enjoy a bagel or a muffin while you drain your drink, whether coffee or tea, and bask in the glow of a great small biz that delivers a top-notch experience.

Besides having good coffee and a good variety of things to select from. A very pleasant atmosphere which makes you comfortable to sit down have a cup of coffee, have a conversation with a friend or get a little work done out of your office. If you haven't been here you should stop by.

We found The Coffee House on Yelp during our upcoming trip to Edison for Christmas Con at the NJ Expo Center and ended up visiting twice. On our first trip, I got the their bacon egg and cheese sandwich on brioche and the seasonal White Chocolate peppermint latte. The brioche was warm and perfectly toasted to hold the bacon egg and cheese. It's one of the best versions of that sandwich I've had and it comes down to the bread. The white chocolate peppermint latte was not too sweet and had the right level of peppermint and holiday spirit. On my second trip, I tried their avocado toast with hard boiled eggs as they are known for it and the candy cane latte. I didn't realize the avocado toast had sesames seeds in the Ebb seeds and when it arrived to my table and I realized they offered to remake it for me. Once I received it and tried it, it was delicious. The avocado was creamy and flavored and the bread was perfectly toasted. The candy cane latte was another great holiday beverage. Each time we came, we were greeted warmly by staff who checked us out at the register and delivered our food. The prices were completely reasonable. If I lived in this neighborhood, I'd to visit this place all the time.

I came here to meet a friend on a Friday morning and fell in love with this place! I was so impressed by the menu - there's something for everybody on it. They make all coffee and espresso drinks and they have 20+ syrup flavors to choose from! I got an oat milk latte with 2 pumps of toffee nut syrup and it was insanely good. My friend got a cortado and she said it was great too. There's also a big food menu with breakfast and lunch items. I got a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese which was very good and nicely toasted. The staff is friendly and the vibe is great to just hang out here. Great spot!

This is a local coffee shop that has such a cozy, laid back vibe. There is entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as open mic nights. Their Facebook page includes information on their activities and musical performances. It is a great place to order and take a seat, or grab and go. I had an iced caramel coffee, while my friend had a coffee, and we were satisfied. We chatted with the owner who shared that he also owns the ice cream shop across the street - looking forward to trying it.

I loved the ambiance of this place! So cool! I would totally go to this place for some of the fun events and activities if I lived closer! The music memerobillia was cool! The bagel was delicious (breakfast sandwiches are all about good bread!) And the mocha was good too! Everyone there was super friendly too!

The place wasn't buzzing with crowd or have too many pastries and bakery items on display filling every isle but this place stood out for a a very naturally tasting cupcake which our kid absolutely loved. It was at night on a Saturday so many of the shelves were empty but they still had a few things left. Sunmerry appears to be a chain but one that I have never visited before until now so I can't really comment on what they have, but I did manage to grab: MATCHA CLOUD DONUT - This reminded me vaguely of the im donut donuts I tried in NYC. Very soft and pillowy and filled to the brim with a lightly sweet, matcha filling. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this. RED BEAN MATCHA BAGEL - it's a matcha dough with red bean filling BUT the filling doesn't go all the way around. It goes maybe 65% so if you're splitting this with someone like I did, fingers crossed you both get a decent amount. The bagel was soft and in a bagel shape but it lacked the chew of a bagel. The filling was nice and different but the matcha taste was subtle - if that. Overall, liked the idea, but I wanted more of a bagel chew than what I got and to taste the matcha better. Maybe even have a more even share of the red bean. COFFEE BRIOCHE LOAF - my husband liked this one! Which is good because I got it for him. This is quite good. Soft, lightly sweet with a coffee top. We ate this maybe 12 hours after and much of the top layer had "melted" and gotten on the cellophane but it was still delicious. Perfection. I definitely scraped off the coffee bits from the cellophane so it didn't go to waste. PINEAPPLE BUN W/ MILK - I grabbed this one thinking there was a filling inside and there wasn't. I don't know if the bun was placed in the wrong location or the name is telling me the bun isn't vegan but it's a good pineapple bun but without anything inside, it was a tad dry. Maybe it needs a pat of butter like they do in HK. MELON PAN - I haven't had this in a good long while so I got it for fun. It's smaller than the pineapple bun and the topping is a little sweeter - I remember crunching on sugar crystals. It's not bad but also not filled so it's a tiny bit on the dry side. The place has tables to the side where you can enjoy your goodies. I didn't stay too long but they definitely serve drinks and delicious cakes as well. The staff were nice and the place seemed on the dim side. Fingers crossed I can go back during the day to get a better idea of what they have! In the meantime, this is a good place for an Asian bakery fix. They do list out ingredients under the names of their baked goods so that's awesome! From what I could see, their baked goodies are likely not vegan or gluten-free friendly, though...

La Bon had a form online where you can specify what you want and put pictures for inspiration. It was super easy and simple to do! I needed the cake by Sunday morning so I decided to place the order on Thursday since it was a holiday weekend and I knew they might be busy with orders. I put in a request for a 8" round cake with vanilla cake and chocolate custard filling. I submitted the request on Thursday afternoon and got a response by Thursday evening that I needed to call or come in person by Friday afternoon to officially place the order and pay. I called on Friday and spoke to Tina over the phone, she was really nice and took her time explaining the order to me and answering questions. I felt for a custom cake with this level of detail it was well worth the price which came out to about $80. I picked up my cake on Sunday with no issues and was shocked by how beautiful the cake came out. It was exactly what I wanted it to look like, the color was a perfect match to the picture I sent in and to top it all off, it was DELICIOUS! The cake was so moist and fluffy and the chocolate custard was just perfect. 1000% will be coming back here for more custom cakes- I couldn't have asked for a better experience and it was exactly what we wanted to celebrate for a 25th birthday.
