Roast beef sub. Excellent.
Drew L.

Johnny is still a great guy but after ordering a $13 wrap.. It had an ingredient in it that was not in the description..told him and he knew but why wasnt it on the menu?? He offered to make me a new one a few times but I dont go with redos.. Hard for me at this time to loose over $13 especially when I threw it out right in front of him. A refund would have been sufficent and this updated review would not be posted. Wont be back. Roast beef was also a hit or miss the last few times.

Im glad I got to experience the great food. I was a party of 3 and we ordered OJ, coffee, and a hot chocolate. All generic, in a packet but that was ok. Every dish is made with care, full of flavor, and served exactly the way a great brunch should be. Whether you are in the mood for something classic or want to try something new, you really cannot go wrong here. What truly stands out is the family behind the restaurant. Maria and her family run this place with so much heart. They greet you with smiles, remember their regulars, and create an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming, and genuine. It feels less like dining out and more like being welcomed into a neighborhood kitchen. Maria's Brunch is the kind of local business you want to support. Great food, wonderful people, and a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. We recommend it without hesitation and look forward to many more visits.

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

Took 30 mins to get our appetizer, another 20 minutes to order our meals and then another 30 mins to get our food (no I'm not exaggerating it was a near 2 hour experience). Food was good, but when it got to us it wasn't hot and could tell it sitting under a heat lamp for a while. 2 tables got there after us and left before us. Understaffed and/or untrained. I'm really not one to leave a bad review anywhere, but this was just crazy. I really hope we were there on an off day because the place is cool and food was decent, but we just had an awful experience.

Service was tied with the food for first place! Starting with the friendly and helpful hostess, every single employee offered a greeting and a smile. Our server was Elijah, he was wonderful! Warm, friendly and professional. He was attentive and perceptive. He didn't hover but anytime we needed he re-appeared. We were greeted by two out of the three managers, 10 out of 10. Now for the food! We ordered the rice balls, maple wings a Pepper pig pizza and for my cocktail I had the blue Hawaiian. Every thing was delicious hot and freshly made. The outside and inside are visually appealing. I would describe it as modern meets industrial with a nice dose or rustic, very nice.

Impressive discounts on food and beverages....next time! It wasn't busy so I was quickly seated. Fresh house made sourdough bread was delivered and delicious. The red sangria was a yummy blend and was a nice touch with my vegan pie. I ordered the pizza sans cheese and really enjoyed the eggplant, garlic, basil toppings. The house salad was a nice size and the fried onion topping added a flavorful crunch. I didn't care for the dressing though. Service was prompt and friendly, my water glass was never empty. Deducted a star as my cocktail, salad , and pizza all arrived at the same time which is a pet peeve. The server took the salad back but it was not refrigerated so she redelivery a room temp salad, blah. Sweet server just needs more training on timing. Or maybe that is the norm there. Next time, I will order 1 step at a time to avoid that issue. Private parking with an upper and lower area which was a bit confusing, will know for my next visit. Bread was so good that I purchased a loaf to bring home for my hubby in Atlanta!

Meat was soft and delicious. The churro waffle was so fluffy and not too sweet. Perfect balance. Farmer's platter was good. My only note is they didn't add any butter to my toast, something I usually expect when I order breakfast plates. But since they charged me extra for ordering some garlic mayonnaise, I assumed they'd charge me if I asked for butter. Staff was attentive and kind, upsold us to the max. The food, drinks, and ambiance are consistently excellent, but this review is about something even more meaningful. Earlier this week, I accidentally left my wallet at the restaurant and didn't realize it until the next day. When I returned and inquired, the new manager, Ricky, was incredibly professional and helpful. He verified my identity using a secondary ID (since my driver's license was in the wallet) and promptly returned it. Not only was everything intact--including a significant amount of cash--but he also refused to accept a tip, saying it was simply part of his responsibility to take care of customers. This note of thanks goes not only to Ricky but also to the entire staff for their honesty and integrity. Experiences like this are rare, and it only deepens our appreciation for a place we already loved.
