Each dish was packed with flavor. The crispy chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked, with a super crispy coating that stayed intact (always a good sign!). The masala fries were seasoned just right. When we ordered the paratha pulled beef roll, the staff gave us a heads-up that it was a bit spicy but it turned out to be really spicy, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to heat. The restaurant itself was well-maintained, and the staff did a great job keeping everything clean and tidy.

I was really excited to step outside my comfort zone and try something completely new. We ordered the Kulfi Shake, Chatpatay Wings, Salam Cola, Masala Fries, and a Paratha Roll. What surprised me the most was the spice leve. I definitely wasn't expecting that much heat! But every bite was packed with bold, authentic flavor. The standout dish was easily the Chatpatay Wings. They were buttermilk-marinated, perfectly breaded, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and absolutely fucking delicious. They were hands down my favorite thing we ordered. The Kulfi Shake was rich, creamy, and the perfect way to cool off after all the spice. The Salam Cola was fun to try, and the Masala Fries and Paratha Roll were both flavorful and satisfying.

The food always tasted a bit too salty BUT THIS TIME we loved our food. My dad did a takeout of their chicken platter. The chicken platter is like a crossover between chicken tandoori and halal guys. It was delicious, flavorful, and 3 of us could split it (we were not too hungry). I'd probably come back again.

4-Star Review - Delhi Garden, NJ…read more Tried Delhi Garden recently on a friend's recommendation. It's a bit out of the way from the central Edison area, but worth a visit every now and then. I saw some solid reviews online and decided to check it out. Service was good . Atmosphere not that great . Overall, I was leaning toward a 3-star rating, but a few standout dishes pushed it to a 4. The aloo cutlet with chole was the star of the show--super authentic and flavorful. The paneer tikka and paneer masala also hit the mark taste-wise, though I wish they had packed a bit more spice. The paneer tandoor came in a generous portion, but again, it could've used more flavor. The biryani was just average. One common theme--everything was low on spice, and the small container of spicy sauce they give barely lasted a few bites. It's a takeout-only spot, so no dine-in tables, and the parking area is small but manageable. Price-wise, it felt fair for the portion sizes. Not perfect, but worth trying if you're in the mood for North Indian flavors and don't mind customizing the spice at home!

Their digital menu via QR code is convenient and I like that you can open separate tabs if you're here with friends. Basically an easier way to pay separately. Ordering was easy too! Portion: 5 The portions are huge. Even though the bowls aren't as big as typical Vietnamese restaurants, but it is plenty of food. The summer rolls are the typical size but not over stuffed with noodles which I really appreciate. Their spring roll order came with 4 spring rolls but only one piece of lettuce, 2 pieces of cucumbers, and very little mint. It's definitely not enough to wrap all 4 spring rolls. My pho, with added bok choy, had an abundance of bok choy and the beef and brisket slices were hidden under the noodles. Flavors: 5 The soup is more delicate than typical pho broth, but I appreciate that it's not as sweet and some other restaurants make it. The last time I ate here, the broth was hotter than today, but their chili pepper sure made up for the lack of heat. It was so spicy! So good! The Pho Spot has been my go to pho place but now that it's taken over, I'm glad to see that the menu has expanded and the pho is still good. I do really miss the tripe though. They don't have that on the menu anymore.

They had made a name for themselves in my kind of feed by being a halal pho place. The issue in the past was that the menu wasn't fully halal so you had to think a bit harder about what is halal and what is not. Service was slower and I didn't really want to come back again. Food was fine but I did need to spice it up with sauces Now on to my recent experience. I was meeting some people that wanted to come here and I just wanted to be out so I said why not? Little did I know, that they actually changed management in the past year. I did notice that they have gone toward a full halal menu which is actually really nice to see. I ordered a spiced pho bowl and I did not need to add anything. It was the right amount of spice that I like which I havent seen from other pho shops. Service was very speedy. I can not remember how they did ordering before but you get a QR code on the table to scan. The code has a menu and you add items to a cart for the table and it comes on your bill together at the end. But ordering in the site has it come out minutes later or something else surprisingly fast. It has improved and I look forward to bringing others here

    | Deeply Disappointed -- What Happened to Baithakh?…read more Baithakh used to be one of our favorite go-to spots in North Brunswick. We've always enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, something has definitely changed since our last visit -- and not for the better. We ordered several dishes, including the Baithakh Seekh Kebab Roll, Crispy Fried Chicken Burger, Beef Paya, Beef Nihari, Peshawari Mutton Karahi, and Chicken Malai Boti. To our surprise, nearly everything was a letdown. The Beef Paya and Peshawari Mutton Karahi were both swimming in oil and severely lacked flavor, which was shocking considering how good they used to be. The Fried Chicken Burger had decent seasoning, but the chicken itself was tough and rubbery -- almost inedible. The Chicken Malai Boti was okay, but even that wasn't as tender or flavorful as we've had here before. Maybe they've changed chefs or recipes, but the quality just isn't the same anymore. Baithakh had never failed us before, but this visit was a major disappointment. Sadly, we're giving it a 2 out of 5 stars. We hope they find their way back to the standard that once made them great.

For the price and flavor it was so worth it. I got two meals out of mine. I got the gyro platter and it probably was one of the tastiest meals I've had in a long time. I thought the chicken was seasoned and flavorful. But by far, the best part was the white sauce. I would pair it with the mango lassi and it was such a great explosion of flavors - both savory and sweet. I will say they ask whether you're okay with onions and raisins in your platter. I liked them but I know raisins might not be what most people prefer to add to their rice. Service was fast. You can either order at the front table or at your seat. They got the food in a reasonable amount of time. The place looks small from the outside, but when you walk in, there's a back room worth of 30 people worth of seating. It's extremely cozy inside. There's also a parking lot right next to the restaurant and also across the street. The lot right next door is kinda small though, so you might need to loop around. Parking shouldn't be a problem and you can get a really good stop if you're lucky.
