Stopped by with the family for burgers on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 and it was already pretty full. You order at the counter and food comes out quickly, but seating is limited so keep that in mind during busy hours. We tried two lamb burgers (3.5/5), the wagyu burger (3.5/5) and the jalapeño smash burger (4/5). The burgers were flavorful, but very buttery. Almost too much, leaving everything pretty greasy and a film in your mouth. The Chaska cheese fries were a clear 5/5 and easily the highlight. The karak chai was also a 5/5, they make it fresh in small batches and it was excellent. Worth stopping in, especially for the smash burgers, fries and chai. read more

The fries were delish but honestly could be a whole meal by itself. If they offered loaded fries without any meat (and perhaps they do, I didn't ask), it would be more complimentary to the main dishes. Seating is limited, and it's $$$ for counter service. The bun was way too big for the single tender inside. There was alot of sauce on the bun and it was dripping off. The tender itself was on the smaller side and nothing that stood out. It was dry, lacked freshness, and had an unpleasant, almost leathery texture. Definitely not worth the price, and not something I'd order again. For comparison, I've had far better quality at places like Brunswick burger house (halal), where even their single smash burger is significantly more flavorful, fresh, and juicy. Both were pretty good, but for me, the chapli burger was very spicy (enough to warrant me ordering a mango lassi to relieve my suffering). You can choose the spice level of the sauce in the wagyu beef burger and the lowest level, as expected, was not spicy at all. The burger itself is a bit pricey at $15.99 especially since it doesn't come with anything on the side. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Chaska and would say that it is comparable to Khokha. read more

Overall, pretty good. The menu is pretty extensive, but sometimes the food comes out a little too spicy, or too mild. I've found that a medium spice level usually hits just right every time. I'm a fan of the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando, the Chaska sauce they put on it pairs so well with the chicken. I wasn't a huge fan of Wagyu Beef Burger, and I usually love Wagyu burgers. It just wasn't spiced right, but it seems to be a very popular pick, so it might have just been a one-off scenario in my case. The masala fries are really good too, better than most I've tried in the area. Servers were okay, some are a little rude, but that comes with any truly desi eating establishment - it's how you know the food's going to be really good. Quite a lively establishment serving a ton of Pakistani-infused and inspired burgers and sandwiches. Pakistani cuisine is generally one I haven't had much of an opportunity to truly enjoy because I'm a vegetarian and also because of the similarities with its neighborly Indian cuisine in terms of the dishes and spices. Because this is new-ish, I wanted to experience this in person. I found one burger I could eat: the Spicy Lentil Burger. The one thing I noticed is that the patty itself is huge. It extends beyond the buns itself and it's generally quite tasty. I think the one thing about bean burgers is that they tend to dry out easily and can fall apart faster than the meat alternatives. This one was not too different. Also, the chutneys help add taste and additional spice to the patty, but I do suggest that people add ketchup to this as the chutneys dried up pretty quickly too. The first thing I thought of when eating the burger was that I was kinda eating ragda patties, especially with the chopped onions and the texture of the patties. There was also plenty of flavor and spice as I mentioned above as well. Honestly, this burger could even taste better with cheese. I added a slice of pepper jack cheese to the burger when I got home and it seemed to mesh well. I wonder if it would help to add that option in there? Maybe or maybe not.... Anyhow, for $10, I don't think you can go wrong. It's a pretty solid burger and I am more inclined to return. It takes about 10 mins or so to receive your order, so plan accordingly or order online. For being a bunch of fried food, the meal was surprisingly light and clean. Desi food is notorious for being too oily but I didn't feel gross after SHARING a couple burgers and loaded fries there are definitely some quality ingredients, all fresh. I love the chutneys that give each burger a unique flavor and set Chaska apart as a burger joint that everyone should visit, not just for Halal eaters who don't have a lot of great options out there, but non Halal eaters alike! Lahori Fish Burger felt like it was missing a tartar like sauce, just doesn't feel like a fish burger without it, but lotta respect for what they've put together. Fresh and will make you feel the beach through your taste buds. The Wagyu Beef burger was probably a little overpriced, kind of lost on someone like me who thinks all cuts of meat just taste the same Nashville Loaded Fries were yummy and spicy, but the chicken leaves something to be desired. Tried this spot for the first time yesterday and was shocked. I obv came to Yelp to see what everyone had to say but realized it's fairly new but the pictures looked amazing so had to give it a shot. We had the hot chicken sandwich and the loaded fries, both amazing. The chicken was super well seasoned and fried to the perfect crisp. Now one thing to know is that the main star is their sauce where you can pick from a spice level of 1-4. I got 3 on the burger and 4 on the fries and omggggg it was spicy! The 3 was perfect for me but I also have a pretty high tolerance. One other thing I loved was that they dont skimp with the sauce, you get a good amount on both! By far my top hot chicken spot at the moment. They intentionally source quality product - I mean the lamb chops are legit from Australia and my wife swears by them. Their sauce is incredible but I can handle anything past level 2 (out of 4). Crunchy and juicy tendies, the Wagyu smash burger was another solid burger I tried. We decided to give this place a try after work. It was appearing on my Instagram and we were craving for Middle Eastern burgers. It is a fast casual place where you order at the register and they bring the food to you. The place is longer than it appears to be, with the main dining area and ordering counter being at the front and an extra dining area being located near the back. A long hallway next to the counter connects the two dining areas, with the second dining area having its own room. The tables are black with red chairs and they seat 2-4 people. Paintings hang from the leftmost wall while the rightmost wall has a square made of fake grass. Daughter ordered Xplosive Wagyu Beef Burger ,medium rare. It's a 1/2 lb Wagyu beef patty, charred onions, tomato, sautéed jalapeño, mint chutney, and Chaska sauce topped with fried eggs. Daughter thought it was delicious and would order it again. According to her, "everything about it screamed FLAVOR!" LOL. Hubs ordered the Lamb Burger, which is organic lamb mixed with home blend spice with lettuce, red onions, tomato and Chaska sauce. It came out medium rare. He thought it was tasty and had an afterthought of whether or not he could've had it made to order (rare). The guy didn't give him an option. Lastly, I had the Lehori Fish Burger, which is cod fish fillet spiced with special Lahori spice served with dice onion, tomato, tamarind and green chutney. Hubs and I liked it a lot. I didn't expect much out of this burger but it was surprisingly good. We also ordered the Masala Fries. This was pretty good, but it could've been fried a bit longer to make it crispy. Now my review is obviously based my personal experience when I visited I will say staff was nice there was mishap in the bathroom which they were cleaning up but didn't do such a great job with the floor after . Was left all wet around the floor of the toilet and under the sink a tad gross . We sat at table close to the counter but had to move because they left the back door open for a while we were sitting there and it was freezing. This is fairly decent sized place with sitting in the front and some towards the back area . You place your order and then they give you a number to put on your table . I truly had high hopes for this place considering all the IG post . And like I said this is my personal experience the food was bland no real unique flavor. I like the descriptions of the food items and they all sounded good .We order the chicken tendies and the use a dry rub powder seasoning on it after frying which tasted like paprika mostly and the breading on it was hard and fell right off the chicken as soon as you cut or bit right into it . No flavor unless you dipped it in sauce they give you which tastes like Mac sauce from McDonald's. I also ordered the smash burger fries which again tasted like I was eating a deconstructed Big Mac . My husband ordered a stuffed burger which to be honest all I tasted was char from the grill but no actual flavor to the burger. Needless to say I was one and done ! Fell short of my high hopes and expectations... the staff was very nice and the food quality was good but that's where it ended. The photos from the business drove me in as they looked amazing. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was not hot or overly flavorful. Plus it had just one chicken tender on it. We also tried a waygu beef burger which was a dripping mess. And we just didn't enjoy the mint chutney on it. The masala fries were tasty but a small side order. I would definitely head back to Smashville in New Brunswick over this next time. read more
