Food is awesome but the portions are very small for the price. Service was perfect over weekday lunch but slow over weekend dinner.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I am in my 40's, love trying new food and somehow never experience Pakistani/Indian…read morecuisine. Visiting a friend I was taken in by the pictures and now was the time. Its a super cute family spot. We asked our waiter for recommendations and let me tell you, I give him 5 stars! We had the fried fish to start and shared the goat something or other, butter chicken, Roti and Naan. I can't tell you how many time my eyes rolled in pure enjoyment. I was so so sad when I got full because it was all soooooo good. The spices were so fresh and perfect. I could feel my pores opening but didnt feel like I was on fire. I ordered take out for my husband to try and so I can have more tomorrow because I know I'll be thinking of this meal non stop. I cant wait to return to try more amazing dishes!

However, over our last three visits, we've noticed several concerns: The taste of the food has changed, and some dishes were not properly cooked. The karahi gosht is no longer prepared the way it used to be, and the portion size has also been reduced. The seating arrangement feels too cramped for the space, making it difficult to move around comfortably. When concerns are raised, the standard response is simply, "we will let them know," without any visible follow-up. We genuinely enjoy dining here and would like to continue visiting. However, the inconsistency in food quality, along with pricing and portion concerns, has been disappointing and is making us reconsider. I would greatly appreciate it if the owner could give attention to these issues, particularly ensuring consistency in food quality and taste.

| Deeply Disappointed -- What Happened to Baithakh?…read more Baithakh used to be one of our favorite go-to spots in North Brunswick. We've always enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, something has definitely changed since our last visit -- and not for the better. We ordered several dishes, including the Baithakh Seekh Kebab Roll, Crispy Fried Chicken Burger, Beef Paya, Beef Nihari, Peshawari Mutton Karahi, and Chicken Malai Boti. To our surprise, nearly everything was a letdown. The Beef Paya and Peshawari Mutton Karahi were both swimming in oil and severely lacked flavor, which was shocking considering how good they used to be. The Fried Chicken Burger had decent seasoning, but the chicken itself was tough and rubbery -- almost inedible. The Chicken Malai Boti was okay, but even that wasn't as tender or flavorful as we've had here before. Maybe they've changed chefs or recipes, but the quality just isn't the same anymore. Baithakh had never failed us before, but this visit was a major disappointment. Sadly, we're giving it a 2 out of 5 stars. We hope they find their way back to the standard that once made them great.

But with their sweet tea to wash it down, it was a win-win combo. Very quick service and everything's served piping hot. Parking's a little tight but if you can make it, it's totally worth it.

We had a whole chat before even ordering. I saw another customer do the same. It wasn't busy so there wasn't a holdup. I got the fried chicken with honey biscuit combo. The honey biscuit was delicious: savory, buttery, sweet - it hit all the right notes without being too dry. The fries came out piping hot were well seasoned and stayed crispy even after half an hour. These two were the highlight. The chicken was a little dry - it tasted like it was under a heat lamp for a bit too long. The second time I went back the chicken was perfectly juicy and crispy, so I guess it depends on how recently the batch was made. I tried the chicken fingers over fries and that was delicious - I'd probably get that again next time. I'll be coming back here to try other stuff on the menu. Some items are a bit pricey (smaller portion than other chicken places). But everything I had was solid.

The delicate…read morewontons were packed with flavorful filling and coated in a rich, aromatic chili oil that delivered the perfect balance of heat, spice, and savory depth. The sauce had just enough numbing warmth without overpowering the dish, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. The texture combination of silky wrappers and bold sauce made it an unforgettable starter. Beyond the appetizer, the restaurant offered a warm atmosphere and attentive service that made the dining experience even better. The presentation was thoughtful, portions were generous, and the flavors tasted authentic and carefully prepared. If you enjoy dishes with a little spice and a lot of flavor, the wontons in chili oil are absolutely worth ordering. I would definitely come back just for them.

Glad I made a reservation via Google Assistant b/c it was a full house plus tons of people waiting (1hr) for their takeout orders. Great sign! We ordered quite a bit for 3 of us b/c we're excited to try them out. We loved them all especially the wontons in the authentic sauce as it should be (not in sesame or peanut sticky sauce), the salt/pepper chicken as how I remembered from back home, the delicious noodle soup with tender beef and tendon, and the flavorful black bean fish. The restaurant is nice and clean. They're busy but the kitchen was pretty quick. The waitress brought out the dish as it's done, not waiting to serve all dishes at once. We actually preferred this way. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. We really enjoy our dinner. It's less than 30 min for us; we will definitely return to try some Sichuan dishes.
