    Vegetarian Momos
    Sharvani M.

So delicious! Our family of 9 spontaneously decided to eat here for a Saturday dinner because we love Indochinese food. We were seated very quickly, thankfully, and the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and elevated. The menu looked fantastic at first glance so we were excited, and our expectations were exceeded. We shared the Veg Bao, Chili Paneer, Hakka Noodles, and Veg Manchurian with gravy (served with rice). All dishes were sooo so delicious - perfect level of spice, lots of garlic and onion flavor, huge portions. The parents were trying to figure out what to order, and asked our server for recommendations - he suggested something called the "Triple Schezuan" which was a combination of rice, noodles, spicy sauce, manchurian pieces, and more. They RAVED about this dish - the portion was also massive! Service was wonderfully attentive and best of all they don't use any cilantro in their food! Hallelujah! Highly recommend this underrated spot.

This place was sooo good. They are always busy Friday - Sunday nights so you may have to make a reservation. The veggie and chicken momos are soooooo good please get them. In the pictures are the dishes we had. It was phenomenal. The fried rice with the lamb in black pepper sauce complimented each other. Although it says it's shredded it's really sliced which is a game changer and how I prefer it.

Great place to bring a date. Decor is beautiful & sexy with lush velvet chairs and lipstick red accents throughout. Candles are lit at the tables if you come here at night. Their specialty item here is their Momos. I never had these before but they sure are fun to say. Momo is a type of steamed or fried dumpling that is a staple of Tibet and Nepali. I saw how big they were and decided not to order them on this visit, maybe next time. Pretty sure it would fill me up before the main entrees came. I consider myself pretty well-versed in Asian cuisine but was a bit perplexed as there were a lot of familiar dishes and unfamiliar ones. Seeing items like Manchurian Fried Rice, Manchow Soup, Soya Cheap Sizzler had me raising an eyebrow...hmmm. Lol. Sure wished there were pictures attached. We came for a quick lunch and decided on: - Fish in Black Bean Sauce (Mild Spiciness) - Chef's Special Chili Chicken with Bone (nicely crispy on the outside and tender on the inside) My companion and I enjoyed pouring these two sauces over rice. All in all a very good meal with wonderful service. Note: prices seem to be a bit high for the area. Plenty of parking spaces.

Amazing find . Cute cozy place serving an explosive array of Pan Asian Indian Chinese classics that I have grown up eating. Owned by a couple who also run Punjabi Rasoi also on NJ 27, they are passionate about food and connected with their patrons . Less than a year since they opened , this spot calls out to all Chinese food lovers , as they have mastered the true medley of Asian sauces and spices offering an irresistible menu. Celebrating an occasion at their restaurant is always a enjoyable as they take extra care with thrower service and make it special. We kicked off our dinner with Chili chicken , Schezwan chicken ,Chilli Paneer , Momos - Paneer and Veggie and Soya Chap Sizzler. Every dish was well balanced and an explosion of flavors. Soya chap was a bit spicy for my taste. My favorites were Chilli Chicken and Paneer Momo. Wok fried rice , Thai Basil fried rice , Singapore noodles were all mellow yet tasty entrees. Singapore noodles has a subtly curry flavor yet not spicy making you want to go for more . Thai Basil fried rice is so aromatic and what stands out as expected is the basil fragrance and flavor . Thai green curry with sticky rice is quite good too. Not the best that as it doesn't ooze authentic Thai flavors of lemon grass or galangal, but still a close cousin. The brownie sizzler is a lovely twist with the sizzling ice cream over warm gooey brownies . Their staple chocolate cake with the sparkler to celebrate a birthday is to die for. Your fork or spoon just sinks into the cake and as you bite into it , it disintegrates and coats your mouth leaving you with a feeling of bliss ... Pick "The Rose " for a date night or a casual meal and you will discover a gem that is a keeper !

    Black Pepper Chicken

First time pick up order Food was really good. I liked that it wasn't salty which is a possibility with pan asian cuisine. The reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars was because I thought the food was expensive. I ordered sweet corn chicken soup and black pepper chicken. $33 is a bit much.

Overall, the food here was pretty tasty. The manchow soup was tasty, would recommend getting without the chicken. Our chili sauce chicken entre and the Szechuan noodles were both quite tasty. Worth mentioning that you need to specify if you want any order spicy, they will not serve as such by default nor ask for spice levels. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It's a concept of all you can eat, soup, salad, 2 rolls of your choice, at one time, nigiri, and either ice cream or sherbert. We ordered an appetizer from the main menu, the rangoon, was good. Now lunch was from the special all you can eat menu Monday menu, which is different than the full restaurant menu. There are a couple of special rolls on there. I tried the shrimp tempura roll, which I've never seen shrimp tempura look like a fish stick style, no shrimp tail at all, very odd. The rolls were prepared larger in size, I guess to get you full, or to not get you to follow one of their rules. So you must eat all of the sushi even the rice, you can't eat out the middle, even if you don't like it, before you can be served another option of the all you can eat items. The waitress literally pointed which sushi my guest didn't eat, as they went to order another option. Mind you, both of our rolls came on one plate, as if we were sharing. We did not like the fatty tuna with scallions, it was dry and very fishy. The spicy tuna which most places serve minced was more whole pieces, very different. Different is good, when it's flavorful, but this was missing it's punch. The kami salad was layered which was nice, but too much spicy mayo for the ratio, ask for your sauce on the side so you can mix it, since you mix it yourself anyway. The cucumber came layered under the crab, and the sauce on top, I actually liked that. The teas and soups were good, Dragon roll was my favorite, it was the shrimp tempura and salmon mixed. Try for yourself. It was a cute experience with good chocolate ice cream.

The pad thai noodles are a big thinner than i've had before but that didn't bother me, it has such great flavor too. Here in north Howell Township, you will find an Asian restaurant that does not have a lot of…read morereviews, yet has a lot of potential. Brand: 4/5 Located in Regal Plaza, New Pan Asian specializes in Chinese and Japanese cuisines. It has a pretty standard sign that has a straightforward subtitle indicating which meals they serve. Inside, you will find a Japanese noren that accommodates a line. You will also find many Chinese-inspired décor throughout the establishment. Based on what I discovered inside, I will say that the Chinese/Japanese aesthetics match well. I also liked the vine motif upon the wall. Website: 5/5 It opens to the main page, with sections separated by brush-stroke endings. It has the standard description about its location in Howell Township. I do like how the menu items have their Chinese/Japanese translations below their English names. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no interruptions or issues waiting for my order. Ambiance: 4/5 While the establishment did not have music, I did not think it needed it, since the cooking itself provided an immersive sound without disruption. I did notice a burnt smell throughout the establishment. While it did have a few tables, I did not see a problem with them, for they had well-spaced positions. I had no issue with the seats. Food: 5/5 I ordered a small box of Seafood Fried Rice, packed with peas, carrots, shrimp, crab meat, and crayfish, with a side of Taro creamy tea latte. The box had an equal amount of meats and vegetables. It all held a form that stayed within the box, while also did not fall off, and all of it had a well-cooked steam. With every application of soy sauce, duck sauce, and hot sauce, the eating experience definitely gave me a warm taste with every bite. Every part of the box satisfied me. As for the Taro creamy tea latte, I will say that it had a sweet taste to it, accompanied by the bobas at the bottom. I never had Taro before, and I will say that it was a pleasant first impression. It also help neutralize the hot-sauce-laden fried rice. Service: 5/5 The owners provided a good service with asking if I wanted it to go or to eat there. Worth The Money?: 4/5 The food reflected the brand perfectly both in the establishment and the website. It perplexes me how New Pan Asian could have a low rating. Nothing about the ambiance interfered with my time there, and the wait time was appropriate for the time it took to prepare the Seafood Fried Rice. The service puts a lot of care into the food. Pertaining to the ambiance reflecting the brand and the website, I would like to see more of the combination of Chinese and Japanese aesthetics, since they both have vibrancy in their own ways. Americans typically do not have the time or the luxury to learn in-depth Chinese and Japanese culture (let alone the differences between them). Needless to say, the time it took to wait for my order did not feel tedious when accounting for the establishment's ambiance. Between me and the owners, we did struggle to communicate. In immigrant-owned eateries, I generally forgive the owners and the staff if English is their second language. If I ever find myself around Regal Plaza, I would absolutely consider it my first option for Asian cuisine. I did think the tea latte had a high price compared to the Seafood Fried Rice. Rating: 5/5 Stars I see a lot of hope for New Pan Asian, since it brings Asian cuisine to Regal Plaza. Recommend To... Anyone looking for Asian cuisine in the area, but is also interested in learning Mandarin Chinese or Japanese, since you might try to learn them there, based on how they write their menus and their receipts.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of steamed dumplings, so I was a little disappointed at first. However, the flavor was excellent and definitely exceeded my expectations, so I can't complain too much about the mix-up. The real star of the meal was the Yellow Curry Crispy Duck. Absolutely amazing! The duck was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the curry had incredible flavor. I ordered it with spice level 1, which was just right for me and allowed all of the flavors to shine through. My only real complaint is the portioning of the rice. While the half crispy duck portion was quite generous, the amount of rice provided didn't seem to match the amount of meat. For the price I paid, I feel like the rice portion should automatically be adjusted to complement the entrée. Having to request extra rice just doesn't make much sense when there's plenty of duck left over. I'm usually not picky about things like this, but considering the cost of the meal, I expected a little better balance. Other than that, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is a small hole-in-the-wall spot with a cozy, authentic feel. It's the kind of place that locals seem to know and enjoy. I actually discovered it while heading to a Mexican restaurant with some coworkers and decided to give it a try because I'm a big fan of Thai food. Overall, I'm glad I did. The food quality was excellent, the flavors felt authentic, and the crispy duck alone is worth coming back for. Despite a couple of minor issues, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. If you enjoy authentic Thai cuisine, you'll likely leave satisfied. Authentic taste and quality ingredients--everyone should give it a try!
