Visiting the Bucks county area, we were glad to have used yelp to enjoy a great lunch here with excellent sandwiches. The lobster roll was delicious though probably sourced from frozen lobster. The lobster tasted good (a bit cold) and the bread was delicious and tasted home made. I went with the classic roll with butter. I saw they also have adventurous options like mango or spicy. The steak sandwich too was also delicious. I'm not sure if it was really filet mignon, it's advertised as "filet" but it's a good quality cut of beef and is tender and tasty. The caramelized onions were a great touch to enhance the flavor. At $18 each, neither the lobster roll nor the steak sandwich were cheap but they weren't priced too expensive either. It's a very laid back, casual place with good AC and good music. You order at the counter and the friendly worker brings you the food. You save a little bit of money on tip vs a full table service restaurant, though I did tip a few dollars into the jar... Least I could do. read more

This was my first time here and it didn't disappoint. They have a full menu and a fridge stocked with soft drinks and local IPAs. They have a hard liquor shelf as well if that's your thing. La La have one of the best Bisque in the area, like seriously, Lobster Bisque weren't loaded with sodium and there were chunks of lobster meat in it yummy. Lobster Roll was to die for! I had mine with extra lobster, I kinda regret the extra meat bc my mouth wasn't big enough for it lol, it was really hard for me to bite into it lol. We didn't get extra lobster on the Lobster Mac and the Lobster Grilled Cheese today, but we will definitely get that next time. I'm not saying the portions are small but who can say no to extra lobster for $5? If you are a fan of lobster you will likely be a fan of this small growing chain( new location coming to Princeton NJ soon) I saw this location on Yelp a few months ago and knew I'd be visiting at some opportune time. The fresh bright blue paint allowed me to quickly spot this tiny business but not in time to pull into the parking lot next to it. No problem, l found street parking a few feet away. I called from my car and was told my order would be ready in 5 minutes. The employee who took the order was fastidious in making sure he understood what I was requesting, and literally read back my order at least twice. The small shop was set up nicely for Covid. Plexi shields at the front counter and large chalk board behind it with full menu. The young man who took my order was also putting it together and we chatted for a few minutes. I ordered lobster tacos and the Mac n cheese, both with 50% more meat( I heeded the words of the Yelpers before me who suggested doing this) There is outdoor seating both in front of the shop and off to the side, I went to the side area. I asked for corn tortillas and they were large and thin and just slightly crisped up. A good vehicle for the classic style lobster and mild cabbage and onions that topped it. My first bite was tenuous, the lobster was cold.... tasty, but I was expecting it to be served warm like it would be had I ordered a roll. I continued on. Once I adjusted my preconceived notion of how it would be, I started enjoying it more. There was a lot of sweet meat inside, and I was glad I opted for the xtra. Even though I consciously tried to savor the meal, it was gone too soon. I would definitely order this again, but I would ask for it to be warmed up. I had the Mac n cheese at home for dinner. Also with xtra meat, this was a decent version but I'd probably not get again. The xtra meat added extra moisture so the sauce was a little diluted. I actually rebaked the dish with panko crust on the top to absorb the excess moisture. The next time I'm craving lobster I'll likely get a roll, but the bowl also sounds like a good option. I ordered the lobster bowl with Chipotle sauce, $24.75. The lobster and sauce was about what I expected for this price right on the beach. It tasted pretty good and was an "OK" quantity. It came with fresh lettuce, the usual terrible grocery store tomatos and cheep cheese. However, all that sat on a huge amount of the worst rice I've ever seen. Like a pile of glue in a bowl, obviously plated in a way to make it look like your getting more lobster than you really are (no way you're eating that rice). I would skip this place unless you're just hungry, on the beach and want lobster now. read more

The service here is good, the restaurant is super cute, and the food is okay. The prices for what you get are fairly decent. A lobster roll that's STUFFED with lobster is $16, for example. My only complaint is that I felt all of the food had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. We ordered 2 salad style lobster rolls, one butter style, a lobster bisque, and clam chowder. All rolls came with a pickle that also had a bitter aftertaste. I love pickles, but these were not good. It was extremely prominent in the soups--especially the lobster bisque. For the rolls, I think they just went a little too heavy on the raw onions. So, the final ruling is I would go back for a lobster roll--hold the pickle. . Always willing try new places. Gave La La Lobster and distillery in Yardley, Pa. a go last night. Good choice if I must say so myself. The absolutely the best lobster meat I can ever remember eating. We both ordered the lobster sandwiches. I ordered the plain and Mary ordered the Hawaiian. Had to eat half of mine with a fork as the bread was way to small for all lobster meat in it. Mind you now, I'm surely not complaining. If I could suggest one thing, it would be a larger roll. Now we get to the second great part about this place. They make their own vodka and bourbon and beer. Mary tried the spiked lemonade infused with bourbon & vodka. I had a diet coke. Just will not drive and drink. Period! I did taste it and wound up buying a 4 pack on the way out. Super drink as I had mine when we got home. We also had one of their giant chocolate chip soft cookies. Make sure you buy one for your ride home treats. We all know about those ride home treats ~ don't we now! The place is spotless. Talk about clean, this is it. The crew was the best. Explained the entire process to us. All about the distillery, the food options and all the different beers. They were also very funny. I don't know who owns this place, but they are very lucky to have such a great staff. I'd have to rate this place 6 stars but only 5 are allowed.
