We've been to Nikos twice now, and I've enjoyed the experience both times. My husband ordered the chicken parm on our last visit, which he loved. I previously ordered the Nikos Burger, which was also excellent. This time, I ordered a salad with beets and pistachios, which was a little overdressed, but the flavors were great. Their desserts are all made in house, and we really enjoyed the rice pudding! The bar had a nice, lively atmosphere without being too loud, so we usually enjoy sitting there. Having been to Niko's for dinner and really enjoying ourselves, we thought enough of the staff to entrust them with our son's post-wedding brunch. That was a brilliant choice on our part because Niko's put on a private brunch that was fabulous. First and foremost, the service was perfect. And the food itself was amazing! We had 50 guests that were coming and going and they did a fabulous job keeping the buffett fresh and delicious. They also prepared a number of specialty cocktails that were fantastic. Had a reservation this past weekend. We were seated between two large parties with toddlers and babies at 7:30 at night. Plenty of other tables but we could not be moved! We did not have children with us and yes they were crying and miserable. So much for a start of our adult meal. Got menus and our server, I will not name, disappeared for over a half hour, took our drinks and it was another 20 minutes. We were thinking of leaving. The food was good, menu lacks a great selection. I don't think we will be back when there are so many other good places in the area. Just not worth it. Came here with family to celebrate my birthday. I will say the food was fantastic!! I had the Spaghetti Zucchini. It was delicious!! Everyone enjoyed the meal. Service was wonderful. My biggest complaint and it will prevent me from coming back is we sat in the bar area and it was so so loud!! I could not have a normal conversation. I was so sad. They do have a back room which I could only guess was quieter. So check that out if you go there. I recommend this restaurant just don't sit in the bar if you want to have a conversation. I am "walking the walk walk of shame" this morning bc I ate the entire huge burger and every last fry on my plate. I knew I would hate myself in the morning...however...it was worth it since it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time and cooked exactly as requested. All four of us ordered the burger and we all enjoyed. (They took their leftovers home). Thought Nikos had a "happy hour"...to our surprise they didn't. (Darn). Still the four of us decided to take a table in the bar area. Ordered a round of drinks. Hubby's Scotch was a horrible pour...large square ice cube with maybe 2 tablespoons of house scotch. Charged $16 for it. We were all very disappointed with that. Hubby mentioned it to our server but nothing was done about it. It was the worst pour he has ever had of his "go to drink." Thursday night and the restaurant was hopping. Everyone was nice enough but I felt as though this privately held restaurant's emoloyees could have been more engaging, personable or outgoing which would enhance the charm of this place. My bridal shower was recently held at Niko's and it was absolutely fabulous. The space was bright, airy and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. And most importantly, the food was superb. Everything was homemade including the pasta. All of the guests raved about the food and I would return in a heartbeat. Of note, the caesar salad and lasagna were delicious. Went here for brunch to celebrate the 85th birthday of a dear friend of the family and everything was fantastic! We were a group of 12 (mostly older women) and the wait staff and bartenders were extremely patient, courteous and professional. A friend told me about this place and it did not disappoint. The server was great right off the bat. She was friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu from the drinks to the desserts. She suggested the Fig drink. Goid choice, it was tequila, ginger beer with fresh figs in it. Yum. She said I will bring you out some bread. We'll, it turns out they fresh, hot popover right from the oven. They were flaky, crispy and buttery. From there it only got better. The arincini were cheesy, crispy and packed full of flavor in a cacio e pepe sauce. They have a ravioli special, today it was shortrib and ricotta stuffed raviolis with crispy fried green onions on top. I had the crab spaghetti in a creamy, lemon sauce with cherry tomatoes. Both entrees were just wow. To end, we had the homemade rice pudding and carrotcake with chocolate chips, not raisins. All desserts are made in house. Both desserts were fantastic. I loved my meal and our waitress was great, however I was a little off put by the hostess. My husband and I are a little on the larger side. When we walked into the restaurant the hostess looked us up and down and immediately told us she was moving our table to a larger space. She said we'd be more comfortable at the larger table. I couldn't help but question if she was judging us by our collective size as the restaurant was half empty. Despite that incident, the rest of our meal was wonderful. We came here for our anniversary and splurged a bit. I had the Aphrodite martini. It was a bit tart, however had an outstanding raspberry taste. We had the arnancini balls for an appetizer. They came out crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside topped with Parmesan cheese. I ordered the short rib pasta. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the short ribs perfectly topped the dish. My husband has the lasagna. It was amazing. I am not a fan of meant in lasagna, but I would come back time and time again for this lasagna. Lastly, because we came for our anniversary, we were given a complimentary dessert. We chose the banana creme brûlée. I thought the bananas with the brûlée were delicious. It's almost like a banana's foster. My husband really liked the crème, I thought it was just fair. What a wonderful date night experience! Our server, Kaylie was amazing and attentive. She helped me pick out the perfect cocktail - Rosemary Sour. For dinner, I indulged in the Chilean sea bass, perfectly nestled in a savory tomato base that was rich and flavorful. The dish was complemented by delicate, pillowy gnocchi that added the perfect texture, making each bite a delightful experience. Meanwhile, my husband savored a filet mignon cooked to absolute perfection. It was so tender that it practically melted in his mouth with every bite. His meal was accompanied by fresh asparagus, crisp and tender, and creamy mashed potatoes that rounded out the dish with a comforting finish. For dessert, I chose the banana crème brûlée, and it was absolutely a winner. The creamy, caramelized top gave way to a smooth, rich banana flavor that was simply divine. This is not my first time at Niko's. It a beautiful hidden gem in Yardley, PA. Recently I worked with one of their owners Patrica (Patty) Mastoris (former owners of Mastoris in Bordentown). If you're not familiar with the famous historical restaurant, google it. I reached out to Patty a few weeks ago about having a brunch for a post celebration b-day party for my husband. We were hosting guest from a party the night before and wanted to continue the gathering with a brunch. I picked Niko's because of the food and the atmosphere. It has a parking area that is close to and convenient for our elderly guests. When we arrived, our party of 12 was escorted to the back of the room with a beautiful view of the outside. We had a mimosa bar set up which I coordinated with Patty. Once seated our waitress came over to see if there were other beverages we may want (water, soda, etc.). We then were presented with their famous cinnamon pop-overs for the table (again coordinated with Patty). These pop-over are a light and airy dough covered with just enough cinnamon. Yum. There brunch menu is not too extensive, but it worked for our party of 12 in which are an array of picky eaters. For our mains, the table had french toast, gyros, omelets, and pancakes. Our sides were sausage, bacon and potatoes. Everything was delightful, delicious, and delectable. The wait staff (apologies forget their names) was attentive, pleasant and continued to check on us through our dining. While we were dining, Patty's husband Nick came over to greet us. We talked about our experiences dining at their Mastoris restaurant as kids. At some point Patty came over as well. A great conversation with wonderful people. I went here for a rehearsal dinner and omg. Amazing!!!! This picture is just my leftovers that I packed and cut up, so please disregard the disarray they're in lol. I consider myself an Italian connoisseur and this place is 11/10. We got Caesar salads, gnocchi vodka, fresh pop overs, and a choice of entrees. I had lasagna while my BF had the chicken parm. The lasagna is thin layers, fresh pasta and uses béchamel which is obviously superior over a ricotta mix. Chicken parm is two small breasts over spaghetti. The gnocchi was fluffy and sauce divine. I went to bed that night overly stuffed and excited to eat my leftovers for lunch prior to the wedding. Not to mention service was wonderful and private room beautiful. First dining experience of 2023 took place at Nikos last night and I have to say it wasn't too shabby. Our reservation was set for 5:30, but we arrived about 15 mins prior. A lovely woman at the hostess podium, which I would later come to find out was the manager, said it wouldn't be a problem and they'd be able to get us seated. The dining room was very clean, modern, with ambient (but welcoming) lighting. Our waiter, Victor, stopped by our table and asked if we wanted to start off with cocktails. The blood orange cosmo was speaking to me, so I went with that. A wonderful choice indeed! It was perfectly tangy and sweet. The complimentary popovers with butter were to die for. If I had to describe them, they were a mix between a croissant and cornbread. They came out crispy and warm. For our appetizer, we ordered the tuna tartare. It took me by surprise; it was fresh and delicious, but should've came with more chips. By the time we finished the chips we still had more than half of the tuna left. We picked at the leftover tuna with our forks. The eggplant parmesan was interesting - sauce and cheese were on point, but the eggplant slices still had the skin on them and therefore were a little tough to chew through. This dish would have been a hell of a lot tastier had the skin been peeled off. It was a decently sized portion. Victor didn't have to convince us to get dessert but my mouth was watering as he recited the options. We ultimately went with the Oreo cheesecake. Move over, Cheesecake Factory! The consistency was creamy but had the texture of yellow cake. I have no clue how they performed this witchcraft, but we devoured the entire thing. Cravings satisfied! The manager that I mentioned at the beginning of my review was walking around each table asking if we enjoyed ourselves. Valet is offered here but the lot in the back has plenty of parking spaces. Spent New Years Eve dining at Nikos and can't praise them enough! The whole vibe was great, festive. Sat us within 10 minutes of our reservation which is always difficult on New Years. Drinks were on point, and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals! The mezze platter app was plentiful and yummy, and the menu included the entire delicious regular menu along with some wonderful specials! Chicken parm, roast chicken were perfectly prepared, and the ravioli lobster special was delicious. There was no forced price fixe or set holiday menu with obscene holiday pricing which was wonderful! The popovers were amazing, and deserts were also fab and HUGE! The chocolate cake is to die for, as is the peanut butter ice cream. The dining room was decorated for the holidays and there was great attention to detail, including the nice lights outside. The service was terrific, and our server Kayley M was absolutely fabulous and also very fun! She was probably the best server we had the entire year of 2025 of all our meals out ( plenty!), so we will look for her in 2026 when we come back as her smile and pleasant demeanor made our New Year's Eve experience even better!
