Bacon omelet with bacon and pork roll

Cozy little restaurant in Queen Anne shopping plaza in Fairless Hills. It's definitely a local favorite and for good reason. They serve good food at reasonable prices. Our omelets were big and fluffy. Side meats were perfect; not greasy. Potatoes done to the right crispness. Coffee was delicious, hot and endless. Service was excellent. What's not to love?

Cash only This is A quaint little place that uses church pews for their benches. The tables are close together. Food was really good. I got the daily omelette, ratatouille and cheese. Coffee was strong and hot and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. This looks like the kind of place I would bring friends for a cheap good breakfast.

Fairless Hills is a little beyond my normal range for breakfast, but the reviews for Café Ferraro raised my curiosity, and on this morning without a 9 o'clock call I decided to check it out. Good move, Mr. S.! The Café is in another of those endless aging shopping strips that line Oxford Valley Road, but Ferraro's stood out from the rest of the concrete with a bright hand lettered sign on their front window artfully proclaiming its presence. I walked in and saw the counter to the right with about 9 spinners, and several tables to the left. The space seemed well occupied for 8:00 am, but what was obvious was the amount of conversation going on. Everyone was engaged, not just with their own table, but with the rest of the house. This was a very friendly joint. I sat at an empty stood next to a woman who I had never met. My coffee arrived before I could ask for it. The server took my order of French Toast and Country Sausage and immediately suggested the morning special which included two Eggs and Coffee for less than I would pay for my spoken desires. I always appreciate getting more and paying less. I was hooked. Turned out that the French Toast was excellent, with a touch of Vanilla in the mix and nicely caramelized edges. The Sausage Patty was exceptionally fresh and tasty without being greasy. The Scrambled needed a touch of Louisiana Hot Sauce to make it sing, but the well used bottle was quickly brought to me when I asked if it was available. I had a long chat with my stoolmate and learned about her family, work, and plans for life. She told me: "This place is like family. Everyone knows your stuff and wants to help, if needed." There is even a doctor who shows up almost daily and hangs his shingle while eating breakfast. That's amazing! No extra charge for a diagnosis with your pancakes. Café Ferraro is a great little place. If it was closer to home, it would quickly join my breakfast rotation, but given geographic realities, it will remain a treat for those rare mornings when I don't have to be standing in front of a judge at 9.

Not bad prices. Has great coffee and awesome Western omelette. Enjoy eating in a place that has a great setup like this.

First off when I went to pick up they did not give me my whole order. It was only the Classic Kitchen Combo. I ended up waiting there for about an hour for the Reuben Sandwiches. They were not friendly and did not even apologize for their mistake and wasting my time. When I got home, one of the Classic Kitchen Combo was wrong. The over medium egg? Became scrambled egg. The homestyle fries? Became grit. It's like they didn't even read my order. I was very disappointed with the experience. The taste of the food was okay though. Nothing to complain about there.

I have always overlooked this place as a dive bar but I was genuinely surprised. As the windows allow natural light to fill the large open dining area that surrounded the bar. While their menu is very limited to all the standard bar fare and spirits. It was served fresh. The smash burger topped with bacon jam tasted like it was fresh off a charcoal grill (in a good way) the buffalo chicken cheesesteak had a good amount of heat and the meat and cheese ratios were on point . The Buffalo bites were equally tasty and I have a strong feeling the blue cheese dip was homemade. They do offer weekly events like bingo, karaoke, quizzo. I think they may have live music events as well. Our server was friendly and kept the libations coming. All in all a big surprise for a place I have overlooked so many times. A second bar area was added on. We walked through to another large dining area addition where we sat at one of many large tables. I ordered the ham and cabbage special and a side of fried pickles, and went back to the original bar for an Irish beverage. Everything was tasty. Thankfully, nobody pinched me for not wearing green. At one point, it even seemed like employees were calling others from the back to look at us. The atmosphere became so unwelcoming that we decided to leave before ordering anything. This happened during what was supposed to be a joyful holiday outing for our family, and it was deeply upsetting. We never expected to feel this way at a well-known establishment. Thankfully, we went to IHOP down the street afterward, where we were treated with kindness and respect. I want to be careful not to assume anyone's intentions, but as a visibly Muslim family, the experience left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. What should have been a normal dining experience instead felt hostile and hurtful. No one should be treated differently because of their religion, appearance, culture, or beliefs. In 2026, there is still so much work to do when it comes to respect, inclusion, and basic human decency. I am speaking up not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever felt targeted, uncomfortable, or silenced because of who they are. Religious discrimination and Islamophobia should never be normalized or ignored. Businesses that serve the public have a responsibility to ensure all customers are treated with dignity and respect. I have submitted a formal complaint regarding my experience and hope accountability follows. Silence protects discrimination. I have been going to Nifty Fifty's since I was in HS in the 90's. I was so excited to have this location open, until yesterday. You can see I went when this location first opened and gave them 5 stars. Things have changed. I stopped by and got a milk shake and cheese fries to go. I sat outside on their bench for 5 minutes. Ate a few fries and finished a phone call before heading home. When I got home I opened the fries and there were bugs in them. I immediately got sick and ran the food outside to the trash. I tried to call the restaurant 4 times with no answer. I called another location to make sure I had the right number, which I did. Today I went back to tell them what happened. I asked to speak with manager privately as this was something I didn't want to talk about openly. I asked for a refund, which they denied. They said they were so busy they couldn't answer the phone. It was empty when I was there less than 30 minutes prior so I find that hard to believe. They said I sat at the bench for the 5 min and that's where I got the bugs. They said they would remake the food but I couldn't sit at a table even though the place was empty. At this point I did say very loudly there were bugs in my food and I wanted corporates number, which they would not provide. They then asked me to leave when people were asking what happened. I'll take up a dispute with my credit card. I didn't photo the bugs as I was physically ill from thinking about the ones I ate at the restaurant and had drank 1/2 my milkshake. I'm very sad that this will be my final visit to Nifty Fifties but even when offered replacement food. At first I said yes but I immediately felt sick about it and said no thank you. I won't be able to ever go back here. I filled out their online form for customer service but at this point there is nothing that can be done. Update: I did hear from corporate within 24 hours. They offered me a gift card that can be used at another location and asked that I update this review. I can't honestly update this experience because I wont be returning to this location.

I really wish we had places like this in New England. So yes, I recommend this place, especially since they close an hour later than most restaurants in the area.
